Recently had a stellar truck buying experience here. All staff were friendly, not pushy, and extremely helpful. My salesperson, Clarence, helped me get the truck of my dreams and sales manager David was very personable and attentive. The experience here versus other Toyota dealerships was night and day. 100% would recommend.

We have bought multiple vehicles from this dealership. They always have the best prices and greatest trade-in amounts we have found in this area. We just picked up our new Sienna the other day and my wife and I have fallen in love with it. Comfort, power, mpg (its a hybrid vehicle, 36/36 !!), style, etc. We traded in a Highlander and got a great deal now that they have finally gotten some more Siennas ( thanks Covid for the lack of new cars combined with chip shortages). Be sure to ask for Steven McCleney (salesman) or Greg Lundsford (sales manager) to be sure to get a great deal. I dont normally write reviews but felt they really deserved it. BTW, my wife is 68 and I am 72 and this is the first minivan weve owned.

My car buying experience was okay. Marco is a great salesman. However, this location need to do a better job with communicating and customer service. My tag paperwork was not filed after two months. I can deal with that, but if I bring a problem up, at least have the decency to communicate what is what regardless if you have an answer or not. Follow up on things. I should not have to run behind a place where I spent my money.The young lady that answers the phone I believe her name is Marissa is not good with following directions. I asked several times to speak to the GM, but she keeps transferring me to people I said I didnt want to speak to. Disappointing. They have no issue communicating when they want to make a sale though.
I took my car in to get the tires rotated and balanced and they did one side. This isnt the first time either this is just the time I could prove it. Before going I cleaned my front rims so Id know for sure. I asked to have the manager contact me to right the situation and it never happened.
Richard Avalos was very helpful and extremely elucidating!! Helped me the whole way through and had an amazing amount of patience. I came in very setback and not knowing what I was looking for but he made me leave with a smile on my face and a beautiful car! Will definitely be returning in the future.

Last week took truck in to get a part fixed. Was told had to order it, so planned to take it in the following monday a week later. Called first, to make sure part was in. Gave the name of the service department to several people that i had delt with. From the response i got from the people I feel like they dont have a clue who works there. Needless to say, the part wasnt ordered and I wasted of two hours waiting for the phone call that never happened. Sad part is I have bought 3 vehicles from them.
The dealership is wonderful to work with when purchasing a new vehicle. It is a night and day difference between the experience here and the dealerships in Houston. Clarence Brown, David Nimmo, and Bridgette Cook all go above and beyond. They are straight shooters which are very hard to find in this industry.

Had a very bad experience with a dealership right down the street in Houston giving me the run around. Had to drive all the way out to Huntsville but very glad I did. Nathan gave me a very fair deal on my trade in and Chris the finance manage got me a much better interest rate than the dealership right down the road. Restored my faith that you can buy a used car without getting into a wrestling match. EZ breezy. Very happy customer.

Bought a Yaris from someone that had this dealer replace the oil last. When I attempted to change the oil the filter was on so tight I couldnt turn it. I took it to Walmart, they couldnt turn it either. I took it to a shop that has the special Toyota oil filter tool, I watched the tech LIFT the engine trying to get the filter loose! Took it to this dealer and told them since they cranked it down so hard noone can get it loose they need to get it loose so I can change the oil, they guy laughed said they hear that alot and said no, $60 to change it! I got home and put a 2 foot braker bar on it and got it loose, that was ridiculous! Never let these people work on your car!

1. Originally, I went to have my brakes checked. My brakes weren’t working (I would have them pressed all the way down after I had been slowly decelerating and my car would still roll). They told me my brakes were fine. They told me it was because of the modern ABS system. I had previously done much research on how ABS worked, but figured they must know more than I did. I let it go and trusted them that my brakes were fine.2. My brakes were not fine. I almost got caught in the middle of multiple intersections, because my car couldn’t stop rolling even when I was pressing my brakes all the way down to the floorboard. Then I had an emergency brake warning pop up. I called the manager, he promised to take care of my car at no cost. He stayed true to his word. Hence, the reason why I’m giving three stars instead of one.3. I went later to get regular routine maintenance done. When the service rep said my car was ready, I followed him to the front desk to sign the paperwork, so I had not yet been in my car. I asked if they replaced the air filter. He said they did not. I mentioned a mildew smell from the AC, so I did not understand why they didn’t replace the filter. He said that the tech said it was fine and that perhaps I needed to do an AC flush. I was shocked. The lady at the desk said that in Huntsville because of the dirt roads, people have to get their AC flushed more often. Little did she know, I only lived in Huntsville for three months and all my driving is on the freeway, NOT on dirt roads. But I let it go. I declined them trying to do my AC flush for $90. When I started my vehicle and my AC was running, guess what I didn’t smell? I SMELLED NO MORE MILDEW! They replaced my air filter, and lied to me saying that my air filter didn’t need replacing, so that I would pay $90 for an unnecessary AC flush! For this reason, this dealership gets no more than three stars. If the manager had not fixed my brake situation previously, I would have given one star based on this deception of repeatedly telling me that they did not replace my air filter, in order to try to dupe me into paying $90 for an AC flush.All in all, not the worst dealership for servicing, but not the best either. Just meh.

They found a 2019 Tacoma in the color that I wanted, features that I wanted and at the price that I was wanting to pay. No haggling or hassling was required. We recently purchased a 2021 Highlander from John Steinbecker at Huntsville Toyota. Over the years, we have purchased many Toyota’s from numerous dealerships and this by far, was the best experience we have ever had. We felt like we got a great deal on our trade and new car with no pressure, and were taken care of from start to finish by everyone involved especially John.
Horrible customer service. Rachel and Finding Nimmo need new jobs where they dont deal with customers because they are atrocious at it. No accountability for anything!

Don’t be honest when you go here or they’ll try to take advantage of you like they tried to do that with me. Having 25% of the total price for a down payment on a $30k car only gets you approved for a 24% interest rate. The worst is trying to reach their manager Shawn to complain about their salesman Johnathan Ortega is impossible. The only place where the manager is never there even if you try to reach him 5 business days a week every day, he’s never there. I was smart enough to walk out as I understood what was going on, or otherwise I’d be screwed for the next 72 months. The difference in the treatment and deal I got from this place compared to PlanetFord is ridiculous. Stay away and spend your hard earned capital somewhere else.

Refused to give me my interest rate. They treated us very wrong and with our calculations it came out to be a 24%. They were trying to charge me 677 dollars a month on a 30K vehicle and their excuse was “I had no credit history owning a vehicle,” but my credit score was very high. Horrible place to buy a car. Management needs to look into who they hire.

Purchased our first Toyota here on Thursday, our saleman was Tyler. It was an awesome experience and I am so excited to finally be a part of the Toyota family! Was a fast and pleasant experience. This company has always had a great reputation and the Huntsville dealership reflects that.
I did not have a good experience here. I went to look at a car and decided to put down a $500 refundable deposit on a car. I called an hour after leaving because I changed my mind and was requesting my deposit back. I was told that I would get a text message of a receipt. 24 hours passed and I heard nothing from the dealership. I ended up having to call AGAIN where the sales person who worked with me claimed that both he and the manager attempted to call me, but I had no missed calls. Truly unprofessional and condescending.
The people of Huntsville Toyota are friendly and helpful. I came in for routine service and they made the whole ordeal fast and easy. They have coffee and snacks in the waiting room too. I wish I needed service more often just so I could grab some more of the coffee it was really good.Ill also note the service on my vehicle was great as well

When we went to Atkinson Toyota in Madisonville we were greeted by a young man Jon. He was very eager to listen to to what we were looking for. He took the time to get to know us and never once did we feel like he was trying to just sell cars. After about a hour he took us on a road test and he explained all the features the car had, and how it would benefit us. After the first test drive we decided to look at another car and he was happy to show us it. Never once during the whole time we were there did we feel any salesman pressure from him. When we told him the requests we had he eagerly located a car for us. In Dallas! Had it delivered to his lot. Since we are from Houston, and are moving to Huntsville he had all the paperwork done, and ready to be signed. But he didnt stop there, he even had the car delivered from his lot to our house. Now personally i think that is above and beyond his job description. Not one time did we feel uncomfortable with himThanks Jon you have earned my respect and all my future business. Keep up the AWESOME work.

The team at Atkinson Toyota Madisonville is awesome, from sales to F&I. JD was our salesman, he made it simple and quick. He didnt pressure me at all to make a decision, even after we selected 3 vehicles that day. Our Sales Manager Joe, made the numbers make sense and didnt make me wait. Told him what I wanted and he made it happened. Lindsay, our F&I guy was detailed and didnt pressure me into any warranties. All three guys attitudes were upbeat and energetic. Definitely going back with this team next time!
I dropped my vehicle off for service and my pistol was gone when I picked it up. The dealership would do nothing when I made them aware. Their video recordings shut off half way so they couldn’t disprove anything. Very disappointed.
The showroom was nice but no one even addressed or came up to me. I must have been on site a least 15 minutes. Maybe this company does not care about sales.
Edit 6/25/20I attempted to contact Ms.Cardona via the email provided. Weve heard absolutely nothing from them and its been a week. DO NOT do business with these people. They clearly only care about the bottom dollar.We bought a used van from Huntsville Toyota in Jan of 2020. It has been nothing but a nightmare. They supposedly did a 100 and something point inspection on it, but missed the weather stripping coming off of 2 doors, missed the light that fell out as soon as we closed the backend for the first time, missed the windshield wiper nozzles being completely broken off, missed the oil pressure sensor being faulty (already replaced it twice), missed the insulation around the battery being eaten up and falling all down in the engine block,no fluid was in the wiper cleaner, sold us a detailed vehicle that had dog hair all in it and stuff like candy, gum, and crayons melted to the back cup holders, sold us the vehicle as the touring elite with 2 dvd players and navigation it does not have either but the pictures sure did. Now I understand why they wanted to drive the vehicle to us.Sold it as having new oil and tires, there was almost no oil in it at all and the engine almost burned up.Do not do business with these people, theyre crooks. Contacted the salesman about it and he said we could drive it 2 hours to them and theyd fix it, knowing we are militarily, live nowhere near there, and that I was in the hospital giving birth to our second child. We told him when we purchased it we were going to the hospital the next day.

I would tell anyone to go check them out and be sure to ask for Greg Lunsford. Hes an awesome salesman, and will be very upfront and honest. Salesman was good except I was not told about chips in windshield (used vehicle) and truck had dirt all underneath it and in cracks and crevices upon delivery. Finance guy misled me about optional warranty coverage and I still have not received credit back a month later after canceling it.Update 5-31-19; I called back a few weeks ago about the credit for the canceled warranty and was told it was processing, have not received credit yet.
I purchased my new (used 2019 Hyundai Kona) to me car here at the beginning of this month and worked with Steve Chaplain or (Chappy since theres another Steve) and this dealership was nothing short of amazing. Had my Rav 4 for 2 months 2600 miles air conditioner went out. It is going on 3 weeks in shop and still no idea when it will be ready. They never call to update us only contact is when we call them. Very disappointed probably will never buy from them again!!!

Posting this for my father:Dad always gets his Prius oil changed by Toyota Huntsville, using their coupon that says: $39 for the first oil change, $29 for the next (within 6 months). He always upgrades to synthetic oil for $10 more.Last week, Carey at their Service Department, charged my father $59 despite showing the coupon for $29.Dad brought the matter to the attn of the service dept manager (Randall) who explained that the flyer was in the wrong because it was not clear, as in the $29 was not for an oil change!REALLY?!!!!
We usually go to Gullo Toyota in Conroe but because we didnt have time to drive all the way over there, I decided to bring it to Huntsville Toyota. I made an appointment for 4.30. I arrived about 20 minutes early. We were not greeted when we arrived. Usually at Gullo, we are greeted and taken care of right away. We just needed a simple 15,000 mile maintenance. At Gullo that takes about 30 to 45 mn the most, even when they are busy. They did not finish our car until 5 mn till 6. We waited 1 hour and 40 mn. Thats rediculous! There wasnt even anybody else there except for one lady that came in about 30 mn after us and was getting an oil change. They got done with her vehicle in just 30 mn!! What in the world?? Someone please explain this to me. Needless to say, we will never go anywhere but Gullo Toyota again. Sorry Huntsville Toyota. We wanted to give you a shot and you failed.
Service tried to charge me $4,000 for a repair. Asked my husband to verify. He had the service manager put it on lift and no leaks. I will never go back.

The sales person who helped us was great however the sales manager Rodney needs to seriously work on his people skills. He was very rude and disrespectful to us as buyers when we gave them an offer for the used vehicle of a little less than what they wanted. Our salesman Mr. Shoemaker was very soft spoken and did not put any pressure on the sale of the used vehicle we were looking at. If it werent for Mr. Shoemaker I would not have gone through with the deal. He apologized but I think the real apology should come from Rodney the sales manager!
My wife was traveling alone to Dallas and wreakced her car over the weekend, she was shaken up but otherwise ok. She was able to drive her Camry to Victoria Hudson in the service department. Victoria was very comforting to my wife and was very nice. Victoria put my wife in a weekend rental. My wife would have been stuck otherwise. My wife and I are very grateful to Victoria. I was very disappointed with my experience at this dealer. They really done me wrong. They told me that i could get my payment at 370.00 a month, by the time i got out of there i have to pay 54800 a month i dont even want the car anymore. And we payed alot of money down. Whats up with that, if you give a person a price thats what it should be.
I went up about two weeks ago cause they had a commercial that said $89 down and like $89 a month. I make decent money and have average 690 credit and I was told the new cars were Way more than that. That sucks cause its like false advertising. I want a new vehicle and build my credit even further so it was adisappointment. Was looking to get something more fuel efficient.
Ive never been a fan of the car buying process as is common with others. While my husband did most of the work on this, this was by far the absolute smoothest experience Ive ever had. We live in Houston and test drove the 4 Runner we wanted at Fred Haas. They were considerably more expensive, so my husband reached out to David Nimmo on Monday evening. They had the exact car we wanted (which is a more rare color combination, worth adding) on their lot by Wednesday. My husband enjoyed working with David. When we arrived to complete the sale, this Saturday, every part was so smooth. We were pre approved, but Robert, in finance secured an even better rate. He, along with Rodney, the manager and Randall in service all were great to work with. My trade in vehicle had more problems than I was aware but they were honest and stood behind an offer they quoted. Highest display of integrity of any dealership Ive ever dealt with. We will be customers again and Im referring anyone I know that needs a new car. A little bit of a drive for us, but by far worth it. Thank you.
