Edit to the review. I upped the star to 4, persistence paid off for me. I continued to call until I actually was able to speak with someone in the service department. Seemed like there were phone line issues but finally made contact late Tuesday. Vehicle was ready. I made arrangements to pick it up at 8am on Wednesday. Staff was very friendly and eager to assist. I will always believe in customer service. every effort needs to be made to keep the customer informed. If an answering machine or service is set up, someone needs to call back. even if its the BOSS. Over all I am satisfied and Dutch Miller is a good service center.***first review*** Well, 1st it would have been nice had they said the Hyundai and Chevrolet service center were together. I would not have wasted my time at the Hyundai center. 2nd, dropped of for an appointment at 0900 on Friday and I have still not been called saying its ready to be picked up. Glad I dont rely on it. I know its a government auto but seriously. Anyway hope its done Monday.

I recently bought an Elantra GT Sport ( very hard car to find ) CPO from a dealer that was semi local to me here in Dayton, OH. Within days the car started having some seriously bad issues, and being super low miles and CPO I figured I could have them take care of the issues for us since we had only had the car for about 10 days. Boy was I wrong. Besides the car having apparent issues, the dealer tried to tell me the could not replicate anything that I was claiming. So, i took them on a test drive and low & behold the Service Tech agreed with the issues I was having, but told me that since I have no check engine light, there was nothing they can do. They told us Hyundais policy is no check engine light, no problem ( seriously )Well, this was obviously a lie so I left and made an appointment with their sister dealer which was only about 40 minutes from where we are located. In the time between the original appointment and my second appointment the car finally threw a check engine light, and started making a god awful chattering sound along with our DCT clunking very bad. I get to the second appointment very hopeful since there is finally a code to pull, and the car is very obviously not running correctly and making the chattering noise. I was suprised to find out that they could also not replicate the issues I was having! Not only did they refuse to test drive with me ( blamed it on Covid which I do understand ) so I could help point out the obvious issues my car is having, they basically called me a liar and said even if they could help they couldnt give us a loaner to use because they dont have any. Again, this is a CPO car that was only bought roughly two weeks before this from the same franchise Dealer. Besides the fact that my car was very apparently having these issues, I also had video and picture evidence of everthing it was doing. They also cleared the check engine code without telling me what was even going on with it.So, I joined a Facebook group of owners with the same car, and luckily found a fellow owner named Cody who also happened to work at a Hyundai Dealer in West Virginia! He offered to completely take care of my car if I was willing to drive the 3 hours down to their shop. I honestly was kinda scared to drive the car that far due to the issues it was having but man am I happy that I did! Not only is Cody awesome and actually took the time to diagnose my issues, as well as get them fixed, the whole Service Staff at Dutch Miller were great! They were all super friendly and actually cared about the issues we are going thru with our new purchase. They even helped have Hyundai approve to help pay for a rental since we were so far away from home. And to reitterate, we didnt even buy the car from them! From now on, as long as my car isnt catostrophically failing somehow, I will always make the trip to use Dutch Miller for any issues I have with my car. They went above and beyond to help us out. It honestly is the best service weve ever recieved from a Dealer and thats worth the 6 hours of my time to get down there and back which should say alot!Once again I wanna thank Cody, and the rest of the Service Staff that work here. I highly reccomend this place!

Went to look at a vehicle advertised on autotrader ... the price was way over the advertised price!!!!! Would not stand behind there add and said it was basically supply and demand!!! I bought my car here 2 years ago and had an amazing experience!! Salesman was so nice and very helpful. Not pushy at all!!! Yesterday I called for an appointment for a recall notice ! Got an appointment right away! Took it in this morning and it was done a few hours later! Everyone I had any interaction with was very helpful and friendly!! Their service department is terrible. My wife had to have the engine taken care of after it failed. They dropped the engine and replaced it. We found later that they removed the bottom plastic skid plate to do the job and attached it back with ONE bolt. Took it back to find them admitting to removing this part, but adamantly refusing to replace it. My wife had set up an appointment and was told that it may take hours before they’ll get to her car after showing up. They could have called her and asked to reschedule if this was the case. They are completely overbooking their service department. They wanted about $200 to do this work after we had already spent $380 on brakes and tires trying to fix this issue, but they offered to put the part back on and my wife took them up on the offer. Today I found out that they put it back on with the same bolt as before. How do they think one bolt is going to hold a part that big on a car at highway speed? They didn’t even try zip ties or better yet, point out the safety hazard is putting it back on with one bolt. My wife is pregnant and makes it that much worse. I wish they had better business practices.

Recently Purchased a 14 Santa Fe and only after we had signed papers were we informed that there was only one key. The salesman said he would try to get the other key from the previous owner but was unable to get it. He then gave us a number for an aftermarket company but it was still going to be 200.00. They will not provide me with another key or at least offer me a key at a reduced price since they are wanting 450.00 for one. I am not a satisfied customer

This has to be the best car buying experience I have ever had. I trade cars frequently and try to communicate with dealers via email. I was interested in a 2018 Sonata Limited,. I sent out an email to many dealers within a 200 mile radius. I received several replies from dealers in Kentucky, North Carolina,Virginia, but only ONE from my home state of West Virginia. This was from Dutch Miller in Huntington. I need to commend Matt Smith. He understood what I wanted and my financial situation, being upside down with the car I was going to trade in. He answered all my questions promptly and professionally, via email and on the phone. .He was able to match the lowest price offer from two dealers in North Carolina. Matt was also able to locate the specific color and package I wanted. He is the also the absolute best car salesperson I have ever had to deal with. After I bought the car, he explained everything about the special features this 2018 Sonata has. The price was negotiated via email and not much haggling was involved at all. I also need to commend Dan Hartmanstorfer, the finance person. He explained all the paperwork and did not try to pressure me into buying an extended warranty. He was very professional and friendly, as was Matt. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone wanting a new Hyundai or Chevrolet( this part of the dealership is located right beside the Hyundai site). You wont get a better deal or more professional staff with anyone else!

Can only give a one star. My husband and I have been looking at Hyundai palisades for awhile now. We decided to drive up there today from Ashland. Had a sales rep working w someone else on the car in question but luckily you had another one in the lot. We waited for someone to come out and no one came. So I go inside look around and holler “hello” several times louder each time. No one else was there. Is there only one guy there working or. ?? Such a wasted trip. I was so disappointed

While I am new to the Carolinas and bought my Hyundai, at the Dutch Miller, in Huntington, West Virginia, I will, strongly, attest to the integrity of the Millers.On Sunday of LABOR DAY WEEKEND, I was out shopping with my, toddler, son, at a shopping center in Barboursville, across from the Huntington Mall. (My wife was 50-miles away at her mothers) Suddenly, my NEW Hyundai would not shift into park meaning I had a problem! Remembering that co-owner Sam Miller told me his dealerships would be having a tent sale at the mall, over Labor Day Weekend, I took my chances and drove across to the sale. I pulled up, and had to stay in the car, and shouted for Sam, for help. He promptly walked over, heard my problem, said, no sweat. We have that part at our Kia dealership, a couple of miles away. The service department is open to support our sale, (It was a Sunday) Just drive over and our guy will fix your car. (It was under warranty.) Minutes later, I pulled in and the service guy met me, HOLDING THE REPLACEMENT PART IN HIS HAND. I put the car in neutral, took Matthew into the waiting room, bought him a Sprite from the vending machine, and BEFORE MATTHEW COULD OPEN HIS SPRITE, the service guy walked in and said, I fixed your car. Also, heres money for your Sprite, Sam feels like your weekend is ruined. Keep in mind, the Millers DID NOT MAKE THE DEFECTIVE PART, but provided RED CARPET TREATMENT ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND! Since then, I am continuing to shop for cars at Dutch Miller. Just TODAY, I learned that my car is totaled from a hit and run accident. I sent Chris an email to call me about my next purchase from Dutch Miller. I live about 40 miles away, in South Carolina, but will make the drive to buy from the family that TOOK GREAT CARE OF ME ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND!!!

I would like to give kudos to all the amazing Service Department Technicians and Service Advisors at Dutch Miller Hyundai. They truly went above and beyond to help ensure that my 2002 Hyundai Sonata was going to be safe for me and my family. Matt worked tirelessly with Hyundai on my claim that was submitted to get pre-authorization pushed through, and Jason the Service Advisor kept in constant communication with me all the time to let me know what was going on. I can go on and on about how transparent, honest, and dedicated these individuals are in their profession! I truly feel safe again driving my 2002 Hyundai Sonata, and will definitely recommend this Hyundai dealer as the best Hyundai Dealership & Service Department in the Tri-State area

False advertising, got a email for a gift card if you schedule a test drive, we were looking at the new Veloster, call the dealership and made appointment and asked about the coupon they said no problem come on in, went and test drive the car, did not like it, $30000 and no power seats, have emailed salesperson and general manager they will not reply, it has been over a month and no gift card, contacted Hyundai and they said it was up to the dealer to input for the gift card.
