I thought I rated this auto body repair shop but apparently I have not. I am not going to make it too long this review. It is very hard to find a good mechanic and a good body shop who 1, who knows what they are doing and two, they are honest. Depalo and Sons Auto Body hit both of them Square on. They are a Geico collision repair shop as well as a Volkswagen certified repair shop. When leasing a Volkswagen at Donaldson they require if any damages to the car that can be repaired must be repaired at a certified Volkswagen repair shop. Depalo and Sons Auto Body meets all the requirements. When I arrive they were courteous friendly and did not make me feel like a fool for damaging my car. I have been in auto body shops in the past and the owner or the repair person still have thoughts in his head. My repairs were done within a timely matter and the car came out as if it was coming out of the dealership when we first bought it. So if you need any repairs, body repairs that is try Depalo and Sons Auto Body in Huntington.

From the beginning when the accident occurred to the end when I received the car Depalo helped make the process so easy and stress free. I was kept informed as to the status every minute along the way. There were delays in the process but they were out of the control of Depalo. Depalo worked directly with Volvo and GEICO and handled everything effectively and efficiently. This was my second time dealing with Depalo and I would not use anyone else. I could write a book on all the great experiences I have had with Depalo. I have already recommended Depalo to all my friends and family.

With the pandemic, the parts availability from manufacturers is a disaster. Dipalo were incredibly helpful and flexible so I could keep driving my car (it was still driveable) until they got the parts. In the end we had to wait some more (because additional parts were needed once they opened it up) but they did a great job of keeping me updated by text and phone.We needed a rental for a week which was also quickly arranged at a very good price.The workmanship is great (as new) and the car was spotless when I picked it up today.Highly recommended.

It’s like it never happened. Although my windshield was damaged while being there (who knows what happened) they offered to fix it for me without making it a big deal about it not being their fault . All in all I would recommend them to anybody with body shop needs due to their professionalism and terrific customer service.

Depalo fixed my car after it was damaged by a falling tree during a tropical storm a few months ago. There was dents to almost every section of the car from tree branches. They found and fixed every dent and scratch so well that the car looks literally brand new when I just got it back.VJ is extremely professional and is a perfectionist when it came to resolving every issue. The shop kept me updated regularly during the process.

Brought my brand new Corvette here with a tare in the front bumper. Told them that I wanted only OEM paint and parts. I paid them around $1,400 cash. Many weeks later (twice as long as I was told) I picked up my car the front bumper started to lift up in the center a few weeks later and the paint always looked a little off. Months later I brought it to another shop to have them fix it. They did a perfect job. It cost me an additional $1,700 When I picked up the car I was told that the hacks that did the original work used aftermarket parts and this is why the bumper kept lifting and they doughty that they used OEM paint. Now the car looks perfect. Stay away from these hacks if you love your car.

DePalo is the authorized collision repair shop for Geico. One of Geico’s insured hit my car from behind causing significant rear-end damage. Since their client took 100% responsibility, I filed my claim with Geico and let DePalo do the work. The job took longer than I expected because of the Christmas holidays and a snowstorm, but since a rental was included, I was patient. DePalo kept me informed and updated throughout the entire process .When I picked the car up, someone walked me through the entire repair process and even pointed out that my car had been in a previous similar accident that was never disclosed to me when I bought it as a certified used car from Baron Honda.Because DePalo stands behind and guarantees their work for as long as I own the car, they corrected the repairs from the previous accident, as well.DePalo is local and while I hope I will never need future collision repair work on my cars, I won’t hesitate to use their service.
