I’ve never written a review before, but felt compelled to since my recent visit to Burt Lumber. I’ve been shopping at Burt Lumber for years now. I like to try and support local shops in and around Huntington. Until recently, when you walked in, everything just seemed very outdated. You can tell it was one of the older lumber yards in town, but they recently overhauled their showroom and staff. They have Incredibly helpful people behind the counter now. Great attitudes compared to some encounters I’ve had at other unnamed local lumber yards. But WOW!! The changes to the showroom are so nice!!They were kind enough to show me all the changes they made and discuss what they are planning for the future! Apparently, they will be installing a brand new kitchen showroom so they can showcase the cabinets they sell. As a contractor who has installed hundreds of kitchens, I never knew they sold cabinets and I look forward to seeing this showroom and what they have to offer.This place is a hidden gem. If you haven’t been here lately, or if you shop other lumberyards, I highly recommend this place and checking out their new changes.

My wife and I were looking for a specific brand and a special order color of siding to do some patchwork on our home that was recently resided by the previous owner. We searched and searched and searched, and Burts lumber found it for us in record time and even delivered it to our home. From the moment we stepped in the office (on a Saturday) we were greeted with a smile, friendliness and eagerness to help. What a breath of fresh air from the typical lumber supply stores that dont exacly love helping homeowners with small orders and strange requests. In a crazy new world without any certaintees or gurantees, Burts lumber shines brightly. Special thanks to Greg for the top notch customer service, and Joan for the delivery coordination. I went to Burt Lumber recently to get pricing for a new shed. Jerry was the salesperson that helped me at the front counter. He was very informative, knowledgable and has a great attitude. Other lumberyards around the area have salespeople that are rude and rush you out the door or even act like they do not want to be bothered. Not at Burt Lumber!Jerry gave me information to go home with and I’ll be purchasing a new shed once our backyard renovations are completed.Customer Service A+++Thank you Burt Lumber!

Have never personally used them but heard how they helped a widow of a fallen officer. They clearly back the BLUE 💙. I will absolutely be looking into them for a future project.

I dont normally write reviews. Ive used Burts Lumber in the past and had great experiences. I just called because I was interested in placing an order and the women who answered couldnt be bothered. She was dismissive and really had no interest in taking my order. I wish I got her name but I didnt. The conversation went like this.Hi I am interested in placing an order for lumber are you guys delivering?Well when do you want it?When are your available deliveries?All of our salespeople are busy right now and deliveries wont be until next week, I dont even know if we will have what you want.My response was okay thanks for your time Im going to call around.She said okayThe tone and delivery in the conversation was really poor for someone who is the first in line for communication for a business. Plenty of lumber yards for me to shop.

Needed two 6ft fencing panels quickly. A real person actually answered the phone and was able to tell me how many pieces and what type they had. Not possible at the chain stores. They held them while I came in and they were very pleasant. I didnt have the correct material to attach the fencing to the roof of my car so they delivered it for free within 45 min. I gave them the delivery fee as a tip. They deserved it for being so helpful and doing it in such a difficult time. Thanks to all who are coming to work daily and keeping things going. 💜

Went to Burt lumber around noon on a Saturday they got me when I needed with excellent service I really appreciate all their help thank you so much Burt lumber! Thank you I will come back again next time I have a project and was recommended by County Line Hardware.

This is a great Lumber Yard where you can find most wherever you looking for if they dont have it the can get it for you, so if you stop by personally there is great people helping there ask for Bob my buddy
