I was having trouble finding a place to put replacement bulbs in my grand Cherokee. I drove by asked if they would do them for me and he said no problem I’ll get someone right on it!Mechanic came out and did it 1,2,3. The Mechanic was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I definitely found my new mechanic

Good honest and reliable service

Since moving to Long island 5 years ago, Ive only taking my car to Stu Smith Auto. Theyre always honest, reliable with great customer service. And they take the time to do the job right. I wouldnt trust anybody else for my state inspection sticker. And if any issues arise its my go-to place. I always get an honest assessment. Lets face it, its not easy to find an auto repair shop that you trust. Im lucky to find one so close to my home. I highly recommend Stu Smith Auto... I always trust them with my 2006 Toyota matrix. Dont just take my word for it, go see for yourself.

Great work, straight to the problem, mechanics have good attitudes & vibes towards customers. So if Im driving 1 1/2hrs away means that stu & his team are doing great work.

The first time I went to Stu Auto I had gotten an estimate from a near by repair place. They told me it would cost $120. Then I went to Stu Auto and he fixed it for $30 dollars.He never tries to up-sale. Other than regular maintenance he doesnt fix it unless its broken.First mechanic Ive ever really trusted. Professional and prompt service; Called ahead and made an appointment. The problem was diagnosed and repaired at a reasonable cost without replacing the existing part which would have cost 3x more. The dealer probably would not have taken the time Stu did and would have just recommended replacing the part at the much higher cost. Would definitely recommend this repair shop to others.

I don’t know if Gary still works here, but he’s a fantastic mechanic, and so is Stu. Definitely a very trustworthy place to bring your car for anything you need.
