Took my original Magic Mouse for my Mac in and the owner worked on it about an hour and was able to get it working. I was so happy because the Magic Mouse 2 does not work properly, enlarges things when I am trying to scroll and I could not find a new Magic Mouse 1. Such a gentleman! I will return when I need help with my Mac!

I brought my laptop in about a week ago after I’d been having issues for a while. Previously, my mac was “repaired” by Mobile Kangaroo, an Apple authorized repair service in Irvine. They messed up my MacBook badly. (Parts damaged and missing inside)Now, my MacBook is running as smoothly as it did a few years ago when I bought it. Super happy with the service, as price is great and the owner is very honest and prompt to update me with any new information.I am currently in school (online university) so I needed the MacBook to attend classes, and we were even able to work around my confusing schedule. Great service. Fast. Quality work. My son cracked the screen on my MacBook Pro and I tried to make an appointment at an Apple store - no appointments for weeks. I called OC Macbook Repair, sent him pictures of my laptop, I scheduled to drop it off the next day. He was kind, professional and my screen looks perfect and my computer is working perfect. I would give 5 stars, but paying in cash caught me off guard. He told me when I dropped off my laptop that they are cash only. Which I appreciated. It is just a little inconvenient, and I am not accustomed to paying with cash. He was finished with in 4 hours. I picked it up and I paid the price he quoted when I dropped it off. Very fair price. I give my experience an overall 4.5 out 5.

CASH ONLY - they tell you this when your computer is fixed and ready for pick up. Supposedly the CASH ONLY policy is printed on the work order form- that they keep. They didn’t explain the policy, or provide me a copy of the work order. Instead they called and demanded $800 CASH in order to get my laptop back. In my opinion this procedure is highly unethical at best.

Deek repaired and saved my small MB pro a couple of years ago, so when my big 17inch Macbook pro cooked the logic board during a processor heavy application, I knew exactly where to take it.I brought my Mac in and told Deek what had happened. Deek told me of a design flaw in the logic board inherent to my model year, and suggested that we fix the design flaw (a fix he came up with) rather than just replace the logic board with another one destined to likely fail again in the future.I use this Mac for video/music production and other memory and processor heavy applications. With its onboard owned (not rented) software and high internal/external memory options (not stuck in the cloud) my computer cannot be easily or economically replaced with a new Mac loaded with the compulsory ongoing expense of leased software contracts and rented Cloud memory.Deek fully understood my situation and had my Mac back to me in a couple of hours at a very fair price. I brought in my 2012 MacBook Pro to OC MacBook Repair in Huntington Beach to have it checked, and possibly repaired. These guys (Deek and Sam) were kind and professional. I was told there was liquid damage to the logic board that has lagging the booting with loud fan. They provided an estimate with good price, and I was told if they found more issues on it, a new estimate would be given, which sounded fair to me. This past weekend, I went browsing some new laptops, as I wasnt sure if this laptop could be saved. I got a call from Sam this afternoon and let me know that my laptop was fixed and ready to be picked up and nothing changed with the first estimate. I was happy and couldnt believe what I heard! After work, I reunited with my dear laptop. Not only these guys fixed my laptop, but also they replaced few of broken keyboard keys and touchpad cable for no additional charge. I am typing this review on this now working laptop. Thank you so much, Deek and Sam for doing such amazing, miracle work! I still think you both should be CEOs at Apple.

They replaced the cracked screen on my Macbook. I though it would take them a few days, but they called back an hour after I dropped it off saying it was done. Good as new. Highly recommend. Really quick and really affordable. Had an issue with my older MacBook pro and they were really upfront about the cost and got it back to me the next day.

The screen on my 2012 Macbook Air failed and required replacement.Estimate was $400, repair to take three days. Repair was completed 7 days later and cash was requested. New screen failed after 2 hours. Returned it for a second attempt. Second repair failed after 2 days. Failure analysis revealed the screen was installed with silicon glue instead of the Apple specified double stick tape, specifically designed for the screen installation.Decided to procure a new unit to avoid additional pain (writing off the $400 as a sunk cost).I advise not to use this store for Mac screen repairs.

This establishment only takes cash for the simple reason that once their shoddy job fails to repair your MAC, you lose the opportunity to dispute it with your bank. I forked over $400 cash to repair my MacBook screen only to have it fail on me again less than 2 months later. I was asked to bring it in so I drove an hour total... but was quoted another $300 for something that’s likely to happen again. I’m in complete disgust and disbelief and their lack of care and business ethics. Avoid at all cost.. I would’ve saved money and time by bringing my MacBook into the Mac store

Previously visited O.C MACBOOK REPAIR to have my Mac repaired .Well recently my daughter spilled coffee on MACBOOK while she was using it .I called up DEEK IMMEDIATELY since he worked on my Mac previously . I took my laptop inhe told me the main LOGIC BOARD WAS FINE and just the keyboard needs to be replaced .Next day deek had my laptop ready . It worked beautifully. Deek is phenomenal!! I would go back to him in a heart beat. I had a bit of a crisis with my work computer after a couple drops of water got on my keyboard and rendered it inoperable. Since its my work computer, I am hard pressed to be without it for any 24-hour period. I initially took it to Apple and they said it would be at least 5-7 days and still no assurances that they could replace just the keyboard on my 2009 MacBook. Thats when I found Deek and he came to the rescue!He told me over the phone that while its an old MacBook and the parts for it were no longer being manufactured that he thought he could replace it and best yet, turn it around that same day. So, I took it in on a rainy Saturday and he came through on his promise. After spending 5 hours on it, he was able to replace my keyboard without any down time on my part! I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is honest, fair and a man of his word.

STOP NO FURTHERThis is the best Apple Mac repair shop that you can find with excellent service, I brought my Liquid damage 2017 Macbook Pro to OC MACBOOK REPAIR after Apple store Fail to repair it and could not save my data .Deek was very straight to the point, he opened the Macbook front of me and showed me the damage inside (a lot of liquid and corrosion), he offered me free estimate to check it out .I left my Macbook there, the next day Deek called me telling me we will fix your Macbook and save all your data for fraction of price what Apple store would charge ( if they could repair it ) but they could not repair it .totI gave Deek the green light to go ahead and fix it, amazingly after few hours he called me and said the Macbook is ready for pickup, just could not believe my ears .I rushed to the shop with no time, could be happier when i saw my Macbook is on and all my data is back, all my 10 years pictures and videos, just an amazing service and honest people .I will never go else where but only to OC MACBOOK REPAIR .Thank you Deek a lot for saving my life and my Macbook with no time .JUST LOVE THIS PLACE . This happened about 2 years ago. New 2013 Macbook pro had water damage on the motherboard. Son didnt tell me he spilled water on it. Man at OC Repair replaced it and I thought all was good. First thing I noticed was when the screen was black and booting up there were light spots in the shape of an almost complete letter L. Kind of like when your tv has an image ingrained in it when you shut it off. Next I noticed odd behavior like the mac wasnt recognizing keystrokes. It comes and goes but still happens. The keys themselves had a decline around I, O, K and L. Like a downslope. My battery all of the sudden would drain quickly. Keep in mind this was a new laptop with minimal use prior. I didnt notice any of this early enough because when I finally did the warranty expired. It was only 6 months. I should have thoroughly inspected when I picked it up. It turned on so I left it as fixed and kept on with my life. Lesson learned. Never thought my new parts would be taken out and swapped with old parts. Really disappointing. I should have still spoken up but I didnt and thats on me. I wont let someone else be ripped off ($450) without having all the info.

Im furious that a business has the audacity to call their customer a liar.Not happy after multiple visits to repair my laptop. Initial issue was the laptop would not hold a charge anymore or even turn on. Come to find out the original charger fried the motherboard on the computer. So it was going to be an expensive repair. Oh well, I figured it would be an easy fix for OC Macbook Repair. Apparently it was not. I eventually picked the computer up from the store without any issues when it was shown to me in the store. Computer turned on and held a charge. I was happy, came home and put it in the closet as this was a backup computer for work. About a month later I tried using the machine to no avail. Would not turn on and would not hold a charge. Same issue I originally submitted it for. I returned it to the repair shop where they seemed puzzled and questioned why I had not used it since I picked it up. Like I said its a backup computer.They proceeded to replace the charging port (at no charge) on the computer which was fried from the original incident. They showed me again when I picked it up that it was working in proper order and again I took it home and it was stored in the closet til it was needed a month later. SAME ISSUE!!! Computer will not charge. You can imagine my frustration after spending $300+ on a repair for a $400 computer and it not working STILL. I brought it in for the 3rd time now, this time the store owner looked frustrated with me as if Im causing the issues for entertainment. I told him Im using a brand new Apple 60W charger. The correct charger for the 13in model macbook pro I was trying to get serviced. He then shows me with another charger that it works just fine and that I must use a higher watt charger that is designated for the 15in macbook pro now if I want the computer to run properly. This was when I realized they made the mistake and wont admit to it or repair it to my satisfaction. Instead I was told to return my brand new charger and get another one. I went to Apple and they confirmed that whatever repair was done on my laptop was not done properly. My computer is rated for a 60 watt charger and should not have any issues with a new charger. So I could not return the charger.I then return to OC Macbook Repair for one last time to explain to him. Not 1 but 4 different 60w chargers do not work for my repaired laptop (confirmed at Apple Store). I was told again that I still need a different charger. Well its clear that whatever cheap band-aid repair made on my computer was not done by a professional. YOU PUT THE WRONG CHARGING PORT ON MY COMPUTER and have the attitude to tell me to buy another charger.

We brought this guy a $1500 laptop with a broken 9 key. He damaged the laptop to the point where it doesnt work at all, and refused to give it back unless we paid him $350 in cash.

They even fixed something that I didnt ask them to (keyboard backlight).
