I use Pure Power filters on ALL my Harleys & have never had a problem with any of them. I also had one on my 2015 2500 Ram; again; no PROBLEMS. I am waiting for them to make a filter for my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Kelly sold the company ; so he & Fran are no longer there, but i have never had a problem with either of them.
I bought a filter and had the adapter flange changed out because of poor machining. With the new adapter flange installed, it leaked because it wasnt made correctly or assembled correctly during the installation onto my vehicle and then was over tightened to where the filter element was damaged/bent. I sent in to be fixed and was offered a refund or to receive this filter back, I declined both and wanted to order the replacement parts to fix it and try the product again. I planed on having the installer pay for the replacement parts, this never happened. I paid for the parts and never received them. Fran Cyrus said the package(I have tracking for it) was lost at the local UPS store and I waited over a month for her to fix the situation. I gave up and asked for a refund, she said I would receive a check in the mail for just the replacement parts I ordered. I mentioned the previous offer of a refund for the leaking/damage filter and was told she would have to contact her accountant about this and would get back to me. This never happened and their phones have been off the hook for weeks and no one is replying to emails or messages on this page. Im not the only one with this issue I see.I finally spoke to Kelly Monday about this, he said he wouldnt give me a refund and told me to contact my lawyer and hung up on me. He no longer answers his phone and his voice mail is full.Im out $409.70 because of this.It was hard to reach anyone at the company and I would get an excuse almost every time I called that one person wasnt available and I would have to call back at a different date or time to speak to the correct person. I would think the President and Vice president of the company should be able to handle anything, I guess not. No one called me about this filter or its issues once It was repaired for a poorly machined adapter flange and it was hard to get an email back from Fran Cyrus about anything.I will be contacting my Bank, BBB and my lawyer about this. I will also be mentioning this too all of my aftermarket/performance parts businesses that I work with, including K & N Filters, which Pure Power supplies filters for.
Defective product. No one answers the phone for the past two weeks.Are they out of business Be careful . Trying to get my money back.
