My Hubby and I went our flu shots and Covid Boosters. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was my appointment I made online did not show up. I had to do all my paperwork over. We also had to wait longer than usual because there was a communication error regarding our flu shot which the Pharmacist sincerely apologized for. I must add the Pharmacist was very proficient at giving us our injections. We barely felt a thing. There were only 2 socially distance seats in the Pharmacy waiting area but there were 6 people in the Pharmacy including us. The experience was not unpleasant. I wish I could have given them 5 Stars.

Pretty decent, but had to wait in the checkself lane due to lack of operating machine and a customer with more than 30 items to check out.

I was able to find more items today than 3 days ago which was a BIG plus

My grandkids and I had an awesome visit tonight, and actually almost every time we are there.

Good place to shop. Get there early am. Best time to shop. 5 stars for sure and friendly folks too

This particular Walmart has to be the absolute worst Walmart I have ever been to in my entire life. The employees act like it is a chore to even speak with you let alone help you in any way. The service desk has refused on three occasions to take back merchandise that I purchased there with the excuse that their records so it was purchased online therefore I would have to return it online. Most of the employees there are just lazy and have no interest in doing their jobs. If youre lucky you might get an employee who will actually speak to you and show some effort to actually help you although as theyre doing it they are looking at you like you have just ran over their family dog. Now I have chosen to shop elsewhere unless I absolutely have no choice.

They should install an activity center for kids while the parents shop and get the products on the shelves stocked and priced neat correct.

Still a good place to shop but the grocery selection has dwindled. Some shelves are skimpy and many brand named products are no longer available.

Ive learned but if if you go to the grocery store very early morning between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. its a more pleasant time less people... There was no crowd at the pharmacy was fantastic..

They want to give people alot of hassle about paying with cash. Claim they cant get change. Yet their coin machine is always broken... lolWhen contacted the manager via phone he hung up. Saying its our issue for trying to pay with cash. That the bank (regions bank) is not giving them change. Like its our fault and we shouldnt be paying with cash. Seems he has an issue with people who do not meet his perceived socioeconomic approved status.Thirty minutes to figure out a way to pay with cash...Their customer service line is about as bad and refused to do anything. Refused to even take a report and issue a case number.Walmart is rapidly becoming

Awful experience...went in at 10:00 to purchase a wireless bluetooth device..for a trip to Florida in the morning..Couldnt find an associate available and about 6 to 8 employees could have cared less to help me ..One other Lady got fed up and rushed out of the store..Terrible customer service and no one gave a hoot or seemd Concerned in the least...there were 4 associates to every customer in the store..Im a business owner from Atlanta and was very disappointed in my experience...Sad......and you want to pay these dummies $15 an hour!!!!!!! ...REALLY?? I work here we do our best....to keep things stocked for you guys..well I try because I know what it feels like to need something and cant find it or dont have service members who are passionate about their jobs it just customer service around to help me so I try to be that person for my customers.

Fairly clean and decently well stocked considering the world situation. Its good, its a Walmart. Checkout lanes tend to be down to 2, not including self checkout, during off peak times and are reasonably quick.

Horrible customer service just spent 2hrs trying to call. No one answers and hangs up on you... its sad..never in my life has a Walmart treated me so poorly.

Pretty decent store to visit. Staff have their moments when they are very helpful and other times they act like they dont want to be at work. Clean for the most part and can find what you need when its in stock.

Parked in the garden center area wanted something in that area no cashier had to walk over to the front of the store. If that was the deal I would have just parked up front. Miss the price checkers they use to have around the store. But it was okay the cashier was fast with the line being long.

Called about getting 4 tires on my vehicle. Was told they had 10 in stock. Once I got there they only had 3. Said they had not sold 1 of those tires all day. Id like to know what happened to the other 7?

Selection has been terrible recently. The store isnt stocked and dirty. Lines are ridiculously long. Its gone very downhill!

Better to visit later at night because it is easier to get in and out using self checkout. If you want to have an associate check you out, prepare to wait a while due to not many checkout lanes being open.

To few registers be opened and the self checkout be either without attendants, broken or only taking cards and too the motorized wheelchairs most of them is broken. These areas need immediate attention!!!!!

Very well stocked for a Friday, got everything that I needed on my list, did not have any shopping cart so had to go back outside and get my own shopping cart from the parking lot, fairly long lines but then again it was a Friday. Store could use a little bit of cleanup as there was a lot of litter on certain isles, employees were friendly but not very attentive. Sometimes this Walmart is kind of a touch and go on all the above and again it depends on the day that you go.

Awful they wouldnt change my oil because my hood on my vehicle was damaged therefore they change my oil and I had to got to another business to get exceptional service for my vehicle

Its a hit or miss here some days theres homeless people begging for money somedays theres not and some employees are nice some are mean

I found what I was looking for this time. One thing about Walmart. The majority of workers are not friendly people. They are not curtious at all. I have spoken to one white employee at the location on 280, she did not speak. How rude can you be? It is fine,cause I have not spoken to her since. I think working in a public place, being polite should be required.

If i could give zero stars I would. Don’t know who’s managing the place if it’s by teenagers or what but they need major staff upgrade. 2 hr long lines and can’t even get pickup right either. Thanks for all my cracked eggs tho. Will not be returning again.

I really liked their store. They were very helpful with what l needed except a new phone. I needed someone to transfer all my info on the old phone to the new phone. They said they were not allowed to do it. So l did not get a phone.

The store was clean the staff was friendly even the bathroom was clean there was plenty on the shelves I was kind of in a hurry and it wasnt very crowded, over all I enjoyed it,, didnt take me long to get in and get out,, very good!

Love this location in and out nothing was to hard to find I live almost 30 min away from this location but the staff are all really helpful and laid back dont look like they ever have bad days. I love this walmart.

As with all Wal-Mart stores, there are never enough registers open. And the ones that are open are usually operated by someone who clearly hates their job. They need to understand that not everyone wants to do self check out. But given the level of people they hire its a wonder how theyre even open at all.

Always understaffed. Regardless of who you ask for assistance, the employee will always try to pass you along to someone else. They have a Money Center but it is never open and youll have to stand in the service desk line forever only to be finally helped by someone who is checking their social media timeliness simultaneously 🤦🏿‍♂️.

They need to hire more workers..but they are awesome on the up side.

Standard Wal-Mart. We visited around 2:30pm on a Tuesday. The greeter was very polite, the store looked clean and we were able to use the self-checkout without a wait.

Walmart is always good, especially when theres enough cashiers. I will not do the mechanical registers, because I feel a job has been taken from a human, and replaced with technology. People need to work, but I still like Walmart.😉👌🏿❣

The Adamsville Walmart is the worst one ever. ALWAYS out of everything no what time or day I go. It is simply ridiculous that I have to drive to the Gardendale Walmart to get what I need when there is a store 5 mjns away. Maybe a new manager would help that oversees inventory. The lines are also extremely long only the self checkouts were available. Need more people on register.

I enjoy shopping when they have the shelves stocked. It seems that every time we go, we end up having to to Publix or Food Giant to find what we need. Therefore the 3 rating.

I ALWAYS shop here. Home improvement..but always get hassled at the door by the same employee who doesnt bother checking other customers reciepts just mine.. even other customers have stopped and apploigize to me for this one employees behavior! But I keep coming back for their clearance items and location. ☮️

There were 3-4 registers open. The lines as usual were backed up into the clothes on the racks or down the aisles. Even the self checkouts had people lined up down the aisle. I do believe and so do many others that if we have to do their work we should at least get a discount. Their shelves havent been stocked in a while. Some are empty. Theyre always out of something.its just got worse since the pandemic.

Hueytown Walmart is the absolute worst! Got there and there was no buggies! Had to go to the parking lot and go through 12 buggies before I finally found one that didnt have a torn wheel. Then finally got to my shopping and half the shelves were empty. When I finally got done with my shopping there was only 2 cashiers working and the lines were all the way to the middle of the clothing department. There was like 7 girls standing in the front doing absolutely nothing! Why couldnt some of them get on a register? Had to wait in line for 40 minutes! Absolutely rediculous! Will never go back!

The Pharmacy was so helpful. A pain med prescription was not signed by dr, but the pharmacist stepped right up, got it completed. I needed to hurry home to my friend so that he could get some rest for the night after surgery. Thanks Walmart .

I only give them 4 starts because they could use more people or people who are more proficient in their area. There is confusion and the guy in electronics sold me a samsung s20 and not the s21 ultra and said it worked with the phone.

Curb side pick up was an a amazing experience. The employee came out right on time of my arrival.

Lines are slow. Merchandise not stocked. Cashiers are not courteous.

I was asked to leave because I didn’t have a mask on, the deli would not cut meat for me because I didn’t have a mask on, then I was asked to leave by security because I didn’t have a mask on! Their masks were not even covering their noses, so it’s not doing anything to protect them from anything they think they might get anyway, so what’s the point? None, there is none.It is NOT a Federal or State law that I have to wear a mask, other stores don’t treat people like that. I even told the person at the door, as well as the deli person that I could not wear a mask for medical reasons, yet they still wouldn’t serve me and asked me to leave! I won’t be back and am going to post it everywhere how rude they were.

I go to the Walmart Hoover hueytown or Birmingham dont go to the one in Bessemer they have sorry lazy workers I deal with elderly patients who need riding assistance and they never have a riding cart for my patients so I never even go there and they never have what you looking for stocked

It depends on the day and the time however customer service is not practiced. Checkouts are never open. The value and items are great. You just have to be ready to spend your day in the store.

You have to find some one to help you and they not such wher5 it is them self.only 2 cashiers and they look unhappy are tried,iron you check your self out, still take a long time people dont no how to work the scanner WOW now you just want to just leave. So I dont go there unless I just got to and this is once a month maybe.i go to smaller stores.
