Always a good place to shop. I can always find what Im looking for in most home depots. The Howell store is great never had a bad experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have all your building and do it yourself needs. Prices are pretty reasonable and comparable to other competitors. In regards to masks to each their own. If you want to wear one feel free. But those of us who dont mind your own business.

Always gave 5 stars but something has changed in the last couple months;not for the better. I understand its hard finding people to work,and maybe thats affecting those that are there,but Ive had three visits to three different departments and outcome was the same.No staff to be found and when called for help,theyve been surly at best with minimal conversation. They seem put off,either because they dont want to help,are ill equipped to help or are spread so thin due to lack of manpower that they arent properly trained in all departments to help. Ill continue to shop here in hopes of improvement as its been a great store for many years.

My dad went to rent a scaffolding and the guy we returned it to the first time was absolutely rude. When we rented it a couple days after my dad met the same guy and was still very rude to him. Need better service from employees.

Purchased an akdy freestanding bathtub and it is so amazing!! Easy to install and is so comfortable. The tub looks beautiful and finishes off my bathroom perfectly.

Stopped here once to pick up something nonlocal to ours. No masks on customers or staff, asked manager and she said they believe in choice and would not enforce the rules because of it. The plastic barriers are flimsy and scratched. With people in my household not able to be vaccinated yet I will NOT be returning to this location anytime soon.

The Howell HD is definitely my choice of the big box home improvement stores in the area. The aisles are clean, the staff are nice, the the online inventory is usually pretty accurate.

Theres always parking, the store is always clean, theyre on top of their game when it comes to ordering online and picking up in-store, usually with incredibly fast pickup availability without any additional cost. Theres a Lowes nearby and we almost always go to Home Depot.

My parents ordered a washer and dryer back in November and was delivered in December. During delivery they dented the machines and didnt say anything about this. Installation was paid for, but they didnt install it my elderly father ended up having to do it. They asked for the old machines to be taken away when we purchased them, and after having it scheduled four separate times it was still sitting in their basement. We are getting nothing but the run around when trying to contact them about this. The only thing they did was give a $170 credit towards the cost for denting the machine. The installation cost was not refunded, and my parents time has been wasted for multiple days as they had to wait for the drivers to come to haul away the old machines that are still sitting there.

Stood to get pick up for 5 minutes while 3 employees stood behind the counter talking, broke up when one girls received a personal phone call. Went to purchase screnn from the shelf and the store employee told us that they did not sell that item. Basically acused us of bringing it in. Coild not find help for double bi fold door track. Not an employee to be seen. This store used to be our go to for 12 years, better off going to local hardware. Treated better and more helpful.

There order online, pick up in store service is HORRIBLE! They will text you and say your order is ready. Then when you arrive, it’s not pulled yet. If it was one item, it wouldn’t be a big deal. When it’s several bags of concrete, that’s a different story. This situation has happened twice in the past 7 days. This past week, I ordered 35 bags of redi mix concrete. They texted me and said the order is ready for pickup. So I go in the following day after work. Guess what, it’s not ready. I had to wait 30 minutes for them to pull the order. Okay, life goes on, people make mistakes.I placed an online order yesterday afternoon, for 35 more bags of redi mix cement and 10 bags of asphalt cold patch. They texted yesterday evening to say it’s ready for pick up. I go there today after work to pick up. The order wasn’t put together yet. So, I waited 45 minutes for them to get it all together. I thought using this service would save me time. Apparently not. I am very dissatisfied with this type of service. If it’s not ready, please don’t tell people it is.

Home Depot does not stand behind there products. My 6 month old fridge has been down for 2 weeks. Apparently nobody works on Samsung in this area? I bought it here and they sold it here. HOME DEPOT should make sure they are selling products that can be serviced!Now I have to buy a new fridge at current price oh and there on back order. I am losing over $500 based on home depot price and may not have a fridge for months. On top of that the warranty I bought that does not cover anything yet. I will not get a full refund on that either. I asked for help and they only offered $100 off. According to Samsung other store offer exchanges but not Home Depot they dont participate in the program.That was not going to work so I went shopping and found the same fridge for less then HD price being delivered next week.Not good HD you can do better. Make sure the product you sell can be serviced and make sure you take care of you customers!

I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that they want to force you to use the self check out or wait in a ridiculous line with 5 small items at the pro desk to deal with a person. Some people just hate to use the self scan doing someones job that the store prices are paying for. If they want you to use them mabey they should have a small discount or points to be used in store some type of incentive.

Whirlpool Refrigerator purchase:Ok let us start with what went rigbt, absolutely nothing. 1st the refrigerator was scheduled to be delivered on Aug 26. So we take the day off work to accept delivery. they didnt show up. We received no update except via email that the fridge would be delivered 9/3, after waiting on hold for 2 hours to get things resolved, we got them to deliver it 8/29. Day of delivery, we are excited to finally get the fridge. Boy that was disappointing. Every negative review was exactly correct! Runs all the time dripps water down the front after every use of the water dispenser. It runs loud. It runs all the time. It moves when opening the doors. We figured maybe we just got a lemon. So we call whirlpool to send another one. This time was disappointing too. delivered on 9/12/20. The refrigerator was transported on its side . Which every google review says to avoid unless absolutely necessary. So we are told to WAIT 24 hours before plugging it in so the condenser oil can settle. Great! Now my food is in coolers and $200 of food goes bad. So its 9/13 we plug the fridge in 24 hours later! Same issues. Water drips down the front. Fridge moves when opening it. This one is running louder than the 1st one. It wobbles when opening the doors. Then delivery crew dented the door. Extremely disappointed. Poor communication. Poor customer service through out the whole process. the story has more to it but this entire process has been a major disappointment. Im left with only one question. How is home depot still in business?

Staff are always excellent, friendly, and willing to help. Great selection, well organized, and clean. Much better than Lowes dow the road that has horrible customer service.

I did a search for a product through Home Depot, and the search results showed it to be out of stock. I decided to call the Howell Home Depot location to check on it, and I spoke with Greg G., in the paint department. He informed me that they were out of stock, and that he didnt know when or if they would receive more. A short while later he called me back to let me know that they had received some. I made my way back to the store very quickly! I feel that Greg G. went above and beyond the Call of duty in calling me back, and I feel that he should be highly commended! Also, Karen that works in the customer service department was also very informative. Thank you for your help! :)

I had accidentally left some of my order in the checkout tray, (which was dumb). But the next day I went back and the staff, specifically Nicole, was extremely helpful and I was able to get the items I left. Im actually surprised by how much they went out of their way and I just want to say thank you again👍

Is it normal for Ryobi to completely dismiss the fact that my local Howell, MI Home Depot encouraged me to still physically come into the store to assess my warranteed-tool which broke after hardly a couple months of use within the first year of ownership despite disclosing the fact that Im personally impressiveness and also have a new born baby in the house or is this all my unique experience? I guess Im a Lowes guy now...

Spent too much money here this past year. Good and convenient as long as you know what you want/need. This is not a slam on the staff. Everyone Ive ever dealt with at Home Depot has really tried to be helpful. They just dont have some things I expect a home repair store to have... that said, they cant stock everything. I developed the habit of checking stores stock online before Id go to buy. Saved me some time.

I am honestly not a fan of going to this kind of place, since i am a woman, never knew anything about tools. But if you are looking for gifts to give to your husband or dad who knows about tools and stuff like that, this one is the best to go!

Stock is hit or miss, can never find an employee for help. More often than not, I pull out of parking lot & head straight to Lowes, which is sad!

My wife and I stopped in to find new entry doors for a house remodel. We had stopped at Menards, Devines and Lowes with little luck to find doors for our odd sizes. We were very frustrated since we had picked out doors at Lowes and were ready to purchase until they advised us that it would have to be a special order due to the rough openings. (We did not want to have to modify the existing.)We stopped in at HD and walked back to the Doors/Windows help desk where we had the pleasure of working with Brenda Rodriguez. She was AWESOME! She ended up advising us for 5 hours over 2 days to make sure we got what we wanted and they fit our budget. She was one of the most patient people I have ever worked with. Over the course of the 5 hours we repeatedly changed our minds or asked for a different variant and she marched on with a smile and not a complaint. It was a joy to work with her.In the end we were able to order the exact doors we wanted under budget. Our only regret is than I stopped in on the third day to finalize the order and pay for the doors, but when Ms. Rodriguez wasnt there I ended up ordering through another person. I am not sure if this adversely impacted Ms. Rodriguez - I sure hope not because she was incredible to work with.We are looking forward to the doors arriving and getting installed.

Bought all our new appliances at HD. The prices were good. You sometimes have to wait for staff to help you. Delivery and setup went well. I often shop online to check out selections and they state whether its in stock and exactly were I can find it in the store.Service desk is always helpful.

I went there to get some Lumber. And they wanted me to wear a mask and wait in a line for over a half hour so I went to Lowes no math needed no long line whole lot more convenient and ultimately thats what we all want is convenience Home Depot to hear that we want convenience we dont want to have to wait in line and have to wear a mask ridiculous

Horrible. I needed 10’ galvanized metal panels, which my hometown Home Depot doesn’t carry. I checked the website and it said the Howell HD had 164 in stock. I called ahead and to double check and they assured me they had them. I rented a trailer and drove for nearly an hour to get there just to find that they didn’t have a single one in stock and wouldn’t have any until later in the week. They didn’t have the ridge cap I needed and not a single 2x2x10 either. It was a huge waste of time and money just to come out empty handed and frustrated. Home Depot, please fix your website so it accurately reflects what you have in stock.

Personally have never had any negative issues at this store. As a huge bonus they were the ones to make functioning copies of my house key after two previous attempts from two other stores.

I go here more than I would like to admit. Great store. A handy persons dream. Prices are fair, and they have improved the customer service. Employees are always asking if you need help now. The rental department is great as well.

The employees at this store are awesome! We did a full kitchen remodel done with everything ordered from the Howell store. We hit a couple pretty serious snags but from the moment issuses arose they did everything possible to make it right. I especially want to say how great Jackie, Jason, Linda, and Nancy in kitchens are. Deanna in appliances is super knowledgeable and great to work with too, they all went above and beyond to remedy the issues. We will continue to shop at this Home Depot because of the employees! Its hard to give them more then 2 stars because for every 1 great employee you would encounter 3 poorly trained, lazy with lack of customer service skills employees who are just collecting a paycheck. Its sad because they dont realize how much money that costs them in lost sales, so take note if you want a raise make sure your customer service skills are top notch to keep people from leaving empty handed because they couldnt find what they needed or didnt get the help they required. I have had hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise in my cart and left with nothing on several trips because of poor service giving my business to lowes and menards. Cant completely blame home depot this is everywhere but we allow this to be the norm then reward poor skills and no work ethic with pay checks.

Not much to add to what everyone already knows, but they have lots of knowledgeable employees always willing to offer help. They always tend to have what Im looking for and priced close to what can be had online. The only thing Im not a fan of is the Hot Dog seller as you leave. I always feel like I should buy one..lol kind of like the Girl Scouts selling cookies!

They have a nice variety of various items for the upkeep and maintenance of your home and yard. I like that they carry items that you dont usually see at the other popular big name home DIY stores.
