Low quality fabrication. I paid $50 for 10 holes to be machine drilled and corners to be smoothly rounded. It arrived with sharp corners and holes obviously drilled by a hand drill complete with rough edges and huge surface scratches. Sent it back to be fabricated properly. Communication is lacking. Arrived again with corners that looked like they were rounded on the pavement and the holes were the same as before. I didn’t have time to wait another day. Luckily I have a lot of sandpaper and paint. The pricing was not cheap either. I certainly wouldn’t do business with this location again. Juan was nice and helpful though.

Gave me the wrong material. Was not what I order. Not eligible or for return because it was cut. I’m reasonable but the guy in the phone said he was not allowed to help me in anyway. No discussion. No thanks.

I will always come here. From the customer service in the front to the customer service in the back. It is all well rounded, they even think of the little things for you before you hit the road. I got a little truck carrying 10 foot aluminum and they red tagged it for me and had it ready. Its the little that go a long way

This facility is by far a great place to outsource any alloy tubing for fabrication projects. Clement, Guillermo, and management staff on duty are very informative, competent, and provides excellent customer service. The facility can cut down many metal alloys to different sizes, or weld stainless while you wait. The facility offers a loose drop metal section which offers ample of irregular cuts, shapes, and assorted alloy types of metals for great prices. I been a customer now for 5yrs and I never had any issues with this company. I give (5) stars

I like that Metal Supermarkets has the material I need to run my Machine Shop; and if they dont, they can usually get it to me in a day or two. The competitive pricing and the availability of cut-offs, or shorter bar stock, is also a big factor in why I choose to do business with them.

Great service, nice staff. I came in for a small project involving a couple welds; not a super easy job though. They did a pretty good job supplying the metal and fabricating what I needed according to my drawing. Price was okay, I can’t complain as I don’t really have a reference to compare with.Thank you.

They messed my order and gave me the wrong material and they would not replace it for the correct material or give me a refund.

Clement was very helpful in ordering the right sheet metal I needed. Everyone I talked to at the facility know their stuff and helped load my trailer.

I did not do any business with this location but usually do with the Stafford Metals Supermarkets, where they will complementary cut material so you can fit it in your car. This location has a 10$ fee per cut, and of course everything is sold by 20 feet length so that you have to pay for more cuts. I will be going back to the Stafford Metals Supermarkets where they are more generous with their customers, I was told this is a franchise but the Houston Northwest has different policy. Its like McDonalds having different prices for same items even thought both shops are in the same city, makes me feel like prices vary per customer.

Its next to impossible to find various metal products in the size/quantity that I typically need for my projects. The guys at the Metal Supermarkets near me in northwest Houston have been great about cutting the materials I need without my having to buy full sheets or lengths that I dont really need at the time and have limited space to store. Its fast and easy to get exactly what I need.

Extremely Irritated 😤 I drove all the way here from Spring Texas. we were told that they had plenty of the material that I was looking for in stock. Get all the way to the location and they actually don’t have none in stock. So if you actually buying material from this place make real sure that you are dealing with at representative that actually cares about the job and about the customers. Very arrogant, rude, and completely disrespectful. But to top it all off Mr. Will thought it was comical to have a custom drive all the way from spring TX for some nonexistent material. So if you run across this guy save yourself the headaches go the the next avalible customer service agent. But I will say this: Every other employee in the building was extremely nice and helpful. The manager even came over and apologize. Complete waste of an employee, my suggestion; there are so many people looking for lucrative, stable employment. Hire someone that actually wants to work. A little common courtesy goes a long way.

More drop pieces available compared to the store on 45 south, but prices are higher.Learned these are franchises so account info at one store doesnt carry over to another

Dont use them for fabrication. Outrageous fabrication prices and they lost my template pieces. They (or their fabricator) wanted $150 labor to make two 90 degree bends on two pieces of 30 sheet metal which would take 10 minutes max. Then to top it off, they lost the pieces that I gave them to use as template. I was told they would look for them and call me. Of course, I never heard from them and the offered nothing in return.

Im sure these guys do good work. As Im a previous customer.But to get four bends in two (one each end) 3/4 O.D. pipes quotewas 265.00. Not counting cost of the pipe. Didnt get that far.Or maybe I got commercial pricing.

Have always had what I needed and able to get small quantities. Open at 8 but not welcome on mondays when they are having production meeting. I was asked to come back.

Excellent source for specialty metals in just about any size and length. This is my go-to source when I need something quick and they always get the job done. Highly recommend.

Expect to pay for convenience. Was quoted $120 for one piece of 8ft chromoly, no bends nothing custom just one piece. I looked elsewhere(online) and found it was cheaper buying 2-4 pieces of chromoly at 6ft lengths at $100 total including shipping.

Placed an online order for materials for local pickup only to receive an email from them the following day informing me that there was an error with their system and they needed an additional $50 to complete the order. Needless to say I canceled the order and will go with an another source (not local) who will match the original quoted price even with the additional shipping charges.
