Great supplier. They have a wide selection of tools in stock. Their web page makes it easy to see which tools the currently have in stock so you can adjust your order to select a tool they have on hand. I use their will call service and they pull orders quickly. The order is ready when I arrive for pickup.

What a disappointment from the people that worked Saturday 4/25/2020. I needed a tool last minute. I order it and called because I knew I was going to get there right at 12. I asked if they could wait for me to pick up my tool. Reluctantly they agree. I get there right at 12:00 on the dot and they are already closing the doors and telling me they can’t get my parts. I own a machine shop and purchase all kinds of tools for them but know I’m going to go with other options

Called to place an order. Was told I had to send an email to set up an account. This bothered me because I was to send the person who answered the phone the email (rflores). He could have set me up then but he seemed to wish I never called. I sent the email with the info he requested. No reply, nothing. Worse customer service on the face of this planet. Go some place else where they are happy to take your order.

I was just here recently with my father purchasing some tools for our shop. The guys up front were very helpful. The place is clean, and everything is in stock. But, while we were waiting for our order come up. I see and hear this tall bald guy yelling at his employees to answer the phones with a lobby full of people. i felt like that was very unprofessional, and actually does opposite to motivate his employees. im glad i dont work there because i would have quit. i would not like to work for a guy like that. JUST RUDE!!!!

I spoke with two different sales people one guy named chris (I believe) and I didn’t get the other guys name. Very rude people sales staff. No wonder you’re inside sales....And that’s how you lose business on a couple thousand dollar order and potential future orders. Good thing there’s Grainger.

It is important to know that if you want to make a walk in purchase there is not a show room with isles you can walk through to eye ball what you might need. The primary avenue of walk in sales is done via will call, just imagine an auto parts store, you walk in wait in line and the person who works the counter helps you determine what you might need. There are catalogs to browse the products offered, not everything in the catalog is in stock it simply shows their full product offering. There is also an inside sales department that you can call orders in to. Though they stock some hand tools and some hardware their primary niche is industrial cutting tools for machine and job shops. This includes carbide end mills, drills, various inserted cutters, band saw blades, metal working fluids, some maintenance supplies. If youre in a rush its best to come in with an idea of what you want and maybe browse the catalog to help speed along the process, the staff can help with what you want but figuring out descriptions and translating them to part #s takes time. two other important things to note, this is not a hardware store though they have some items that could be considered useful by the hobbyist and out of all the machine tool accessory supplies in Houston they stock the most.

Delivery receiving guy is nice..quickly unloaded my semi. Hard to do reverse back from street..
