I was having issues with getting an item that is normally a standard stock item and always shipped within 48 hours. After 3 weeks and speaking to a few different customer Service Representatives I called to check on again & spoke to Jennifer Wood. It was like I had won the lottery!!. Jennifer was friendly, she listened and didnt make excuses just took down the information and SHE CALLED RIGHT BACK. Product was not readily available & Jennifer could not give me a firm date but she literally contacted me daily to let me know that they were working on it . Once the product arrived and it was not exactly what I expected Jennifer took control and let me know that she would do whatever it took to make things correct... and she did!! I just wish she lived closer so we could hire her to work for us!!!! THANK YOU JENNIFER!!!

We needed a particular type of O rings but we were unable to find it anywhere. Then we came across the APG website.We wanted to make sure that the specific O ring we saw on their website has the correct specifications, so we called their customer service.The staff was kind and knowledgeable. Our dilemma was resolved within minutes. We got all information we wanted and of course ordered the o ring.Great service.

Jennifer Wood is the best thing about APG. As a purchasing agent for industrial seals and 20 years in this biz. I had no faith in APG after their move earlier this year. Jennifer called me two months ago, and I let her know APG had a long road back to gain our trust. To her credit she has followed up on every RFQ and has been in personal contact with all of our staff on any project we send her way. To the higher ups at APG that may read this. Reward your staff that go above and beyond, and Jennifer Wood is one of those people.

(see 1st picture)Called APG June 4th, told order would ship tomorrow.Called APG June 9th, told order would ship tomorrow, I said forget it, I will pick it up.Arrived at Houston facility June 9th, office building locked at 4:00 PM, walked around to loading docks and wondered around until some one finally asked if they could help me. I was informed order shipped just before I got there and was given tracking number.Order arrived June 11th, line item 1 of 4 missing. (see 2nd picture)Absolutely disgusted with their execution of a simple order. (Service insufficient)Told order would ship several times, but it did not (Honesty not there)Management changes are severely needed. (Change needed)If you cannot ship in stock orders within 1-2 business days, process changes have to occur. (Change needed)DO NOT CHARGE CREDIT CARDS UNTIL ORDER SHIPS! (Accountability?)4 out of 5 companys own values missing or lacking...This is the harshest rating I have ever given a company, but unfortunately it is deserved.

Since they moved facilities last year, we receive nothing but excuses for their lack of customer service response, and their inability to ship most things out on time. Were actively moving EVERYTHING we do with these folks to other outfits (even if it costs more) as they appear to no longer care about their long time customers and relationships.

They sat on our ‘expedite’ order for over a month with no feedback. Would not respond to email. Finally got customer service supervisor on phone who managed to find our order and proceeded to blame us for it not being processed and was rude to boot.

I have done business with APG for almost 20 years now and I really dont have anything positive to say about their Customer Service relations. I thought maybe it was the the company that I was working for but Ive since worked with two other companies and its still the same quality. They have never responded back in a timely manner. Any time I have tried calling to speak to someone, I get passed around to multiple people, if I am even lucky that someone answers the phone. It usually takes me emailing and ccing multiple people on the emails just to get a response. And usually its just an automatic response that someone from their team will get with me as soon as possible. Again, if Im lucky when I send an order to them, they will process the order and then screw up when they send me my product. Then I have to start the headache all over to get someone on the phone or to even respond to my emails to fix the problem. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to go back to them to request the same info I had on my purchase orders. I have had instances where I have requested a specific material ( in which is listed on their website) and they will supply me something different without even contacting me. Very frustrating.

I would like to give a good review, but unfortunately their communication is very poor; in fact, almost non-existent. Our company lists over 12,000 line items of their products on our eCommerce site. However, I am about to have to remove them due to the fact that despite several requests and follow-ups, they cannot or will not provide us a file with current pricing. Ive been repeatedly trying to get this info from their Marketing Manager (I even provided a template), and Im disappointed that he has not even bothered to acknowledge the request.

The last 2 orders I placed have fallen through the cracks. And, once they were filled, the invoices were insane! 3 items ordered, but each invoice was 3 pages long!!! Seriously?? They may have a new system, but its definitely NOT a better one!!

Our company has been purchasing from APG for as long as I can remember ( 30 years and counting). That said, they have never had above average service. They are, and always have been, slow to respond to requests for quotes, and order confirmations. Their pricing is .... eh .... competitive, but a little higher than my local source ...BUT ... APG does have the best availability on standard orings out of all of my suppliers. I have to give them kudos on stock levels. Id love to see more knowledgeable CSRs and quicker response times so I can bring them more business.

Stallings Industries has been doing business with APG for 33 years and I have never been this unhappy with a company. It used to take maybe a couple of days to get product out. It is now taking weeks. My customers are angry with me because their customers are angry with them. It is a bad situation. One of your best employee just retired, Kathy Knootz. I never had any problems until she left. I sure would hate to have to leave APG.

This company used to be highly reliable and very quick to fill orders. Now, unless it is a common item like buna o-rings, expect to wait and not get any kind of order confirmation. I used to be able to get custom vulcanized o-rings in about a week. My current order is 1-1/2 months old. The only reason why I didnt give 1 star is because I can still get standard buna and viton rings within 3-4 days.Whatever change was made to APG was for the worse.
