Wonderful people always willing to help you find what you need. Down to earth kinda place and people, sometimes more experienced people that make you feel like you just asked a neighbor for help. Weve been coming here for 12 years now. This is the way customer service should be.

The Jeds Hardware team were outside today June 19 2021 and were giving back to the community by offering free food to customers. What other store does it like that! Aldine representing!

Quick in & out hardware store with a large variety of other items. Clothing, fishing equipment, snacks. You can find just about anything.

My husband love Jeds.Hes always going in to buy just about anything. From tools and parts and screws and bolts and whatever. I think one time he bought some work shirts,some hats, pesticides, all kinds of things. He loves to go in there to look around. The employees are very helpful and very nice.We have bought our dog food and dog wormer from Jeds before as well. Also a plethora of household items as well. They make leys too. So We love Jeds.

You come here if you want personal undivided attention. The employees are loyal to their customers and their job. I witnessed an employee go above and beyond to help a customer out even though there was a language barrier he tried his best. I waited for a bit to make a copy of my key but I did not mind one bit. Witnessing this employee do his best to help this customer out was the highlight of my morning.😊😊

Manager is so rude! Employees walk around with attitudes. Making sure everyone is wearing mask but they walk around with their nose uncover. Ridiculous!! They should look at the news and see how to wear their mask properly. Everyone there needs an attitude adjustment.

They wanted to charge me $59.99 plus tax to cut a key because it was a chip key, the sad part i brought my own keys and just needed them cut, not programmed. They are on drugs. I hope this place closes down and they put something there that is not a waste of space.

Jeds Do It Best is like the independently owned hardware stores that were located in many towns before the days of Home Depot and Lowes. I happened upon this store during a visit to the Social Security Administration building across the street.If I need a couple or screws, bolts or nuts, I can buy them individually without having to buy a whole package. Its larger than a traditional hardware store and has a wide range of quality hardware merchandise. Lumber yard is housed on the east end of the building with drive thru pickup (see photo).Store employees are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Great customer service, wide selection of merchandise other than hardware and they still cut glass, house n car keys. Paint is mixed while you wait. Also they repair lawnmowers n other lawn equipment!😃👍

The customer service here was horrible! We went in for one part, which was locked up. Completely understandable! Yet it took the employees 15 mins to come and assist us after we asked for help! All they were doing was standing around by the registers talking! Also the prices and tools were in the incorrect spot!

Went to jeds last week and I wanted to write this review earlier but I never had the time I never actually write reviews but I have to let you guys know one of your younger hispanic employees has the name Christian on his shirt he knows his stuff super friendly and was also so helpful will b coming back again great staff keep the good work up buddy

Im all for supporting local businesses in our community and Ive been going here for over 15 years BUT..- Only 1 person Ive talked to knows what hes talking about.- Many, many items have no price.- Quite expensive compared to Home Depot a few exits south.- Very disorganized.All in all, a typical hardware store, but more expensive. On a good note, it gets me out of a bind and they do carry many items not found in the big stores. But you better make sure you know what you need and have time to look for it. Ive given up on asking for help and walk around the entire store to find my items. Employees definitely see me yet no one asks if I need help. They just avoid eye contact. Lol. More than once Ive asked employees if they had a certain item and have even showed it. They said either they dont have it or dont know what it is.Ive come expect NO service from ANY hardware store and Jeds hasnt let me down.

Ive been coming to JEDS for years as i live maybe 2 miles away and this was by far the worst visit. I came in and asked where i could find a starting cord and i was met with nothing but rudeness from each employee as i made it to the back of the store overheard one employee using profanity complaining about her job and i was continuously rushed to find the part number of my blower which i did not remember. i began looking around to see if i could find any other things i needed around the house only to be followed as if i were stealing and it made it highly uncomfortable for me to even began shopping.. I will not return to this store again in the future due to the uneasy atmosphere that the workers gave off..

Its true what the other reviews says about this store. The only reason I go here is I live in the neighborhood. But when 1 guy is out. Good luck trying to get help in the Stihl dept. I was told since he was out no one was able to help me. The other guy even suggested for me to go to Home Depot if I wanted help. OMG.

Everyone is rude here. I would just stick to Home Depot if you want good service.

So this happened to my mom but I had to share since she’s not technologically inclined and it had to be shared. She went here and was looking at a swinging bench. She was driving an suv and they didn’t have a unit in a box and was worried because it was the last one they had but really wanted it. During the conversation with the cashier another associate over heard and was just about to clock out and go home. Well he asked where she lived and offered to deliver the bench. Needless to say my mom bought it and he helped her get it home.This is the most important part.... after he dropped it off she tried to thank him. She said his response was “ NO, THANK YOU BECAUSE WITHOUT CUSTOMERS I WOULDN’T HAVE A JOB”. I mean just give this guy a direct route to management. Can’t go wrong shopping at a place with employees that have this level of customer service. Thank you JEDS for the amazing experience you gave my mom.

Employees are horrible here i rarely give 1 star reviews. Also telling me my 2 year old needs a face mask is stupid. Hope you fix this place.

Top of the line hardware store that offers personalized service. I was looking for a hard to find valve and I was directed right to it. I highly recommend JEDS Hardware!

Hi, I am a loyal customer who is been shopping at this store for a while but it seems that a male cashier it over charges or he is stealing from under the counter. so please next time you buy something from there and is a male cashier double check your receipt on the spot cause he is a thief 😡.. I like JEDS, it has that old fashion family friendship type atmosphere! Everybody is friendly, helpful and always have a smile. It does seem over stocked in certain areas; but, the aisle are always clutter free & theft proof.😆 YES, even JEDS have a few unwanted visitors!

Called on phone for bag dirt to add to potting soil. Once arrived none in store, you have to pay first. When at register continuously asked for dirt for flowers. Cashier stated we have topsoil, its topsoil not dirt. Paid money went to pick up, its shredded mulch. When the loader tried to give me free product, stating he would put it in a trash bag. I stated no I dont do that I pay for what I want. Went inside for refund time wasted.

This is my favorite hardware store anywhere! The people are great. Super helpful and fantastic to work with. If you need anything hardware, JEDS should be your first stop.

The employees at the register charge you double for your purchase! Jeds and their workers robbed me of $200. My bank is now helping me fix this matter but THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPEND HERE. Goes to show not all thieves wear ski mask...p.o.s store.

An old school mom & pop hardware store that has survived thorough the years in an economically depressed area. But, while Home Depot is closer, Jeds is no flash, but a lot of sizzle. I go to HD for the quick & cheap fixes, but hard & specialized item can be usually found at Jeds. Its not a spacious place, in fact the isles are small and things are hung with care, its a throwback to the hardware store your grandparents went too before HD. So, almost four decades I still appreciate Jeds. Word of warning KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!!!

My friend drove there, and lost his keys there 4 hours ago. Couldnt get in his car. Employees REFUSED to make an announcement or help him look. He had to call a locksmith to get into his truck!! Cant help look or make a 30 second announcement! !

During this disaster we would expect people who were able to go to work, to help those in need. My mother-in-law took a bag of Pvc pipe in and begged for help. All she needed was to be pointed in the right direction. The associate told her, I dont have time to help you then roll his eyes and walked away!. We lost everything in the flood and just trying to recover. No one should be treated like that!

I am sad to say on June 24, 2013, I experienced racism from a senior citizen employee. Seldom do I patronize Jeds Hardware; I prefer Home Depot but parents and grandparents prefer Jeds. In the future, I will persuade my friends and family not to spend their hard earned money with you.

Surprised there feed department carry more than just food. Was able 2 purchase parvo doses 4 my puppy n d help was great. Jeds hasnt failed me yet.

Mr. Gerald was great. Needed a piece of glass cut and his customer service went above and beyond.

Best place to go to get quick fixtures and parts and hoes and just about anything you need and easy to get help there unlike Lowes or Home Depot a little more pricey than Lowes or Home Depot but worth it

Sercice is super bad nobody knows what it takes to install a glass window. They say just buy what you think you need. Never coming here again.
