Read reviews BEFORE entering into any agreement with any company. Especially this one. Im honestly embarrassed for this business. The greed of this business has them making promises that they can NOT keep. The pandemic has kept them quite busy. They are so busy that they will not return phone calls. They are so busy that Ms. Lei will actually speak rudely to you if you do happen to get her to answer your call. They are so busy that they begin placing the blame on the companies that they work with. They are so busy that they will then start blaming the cemetery. You will call your cemetery and they will have no knowledge of what Headstone World has told you. They are so busy that they will place your loved ones headstone facing the opposite direction. They are so busy that they will tell you that they will not go and correct their mistake until they have another reason to go to that particular cemetery.Allowing Headstone World to make our family headstone was the worst business transaction ever. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This place will not have your headstone ready when promised. And then you are made to feel as if you are bothering them. Just save yourself the heartache and go some place else. Go to a place that is compassionate and is grateful to have your trust to make your loved ones headstone.

Been waiting since November of last year. Mia has been telling us wait another 6 week we wait till 7 weeks and still nothing. We have not received a courtesy call from them all this 11 months that we been waiting. When we call they will hung up on us or say I will call you back and never receive a call. Jasmine says she is only the person who takes the calls when the owner Lei or Mai is not in the office. The owner just hung up on us. What kind of professional do they have. What kind of business do this to customers. Think about it before doing business with this people.

Paid full in May, and was told it would be ready by September and now were in October no reply from emails, made alot of mistakes with the headstone. Be careful doing business with headstone world.

Paid in full in January and was told that in May we were going to have it and its August and still no word. Stay away please and dont make my mistake.

Got a stone without issue. Some of the reviews had me worried but we gave them a chance. What I didnt know about the reviewers before me was what they ordered, but I wondered. What I ordered was a basic rectangular stone. Nothing crazy or oversized.We walked in and were greeted shortly after. We were taken straight to the stones and started hearing options and prices. We made our selection and went straight into a office. There was no pressure and they didnt push us to buy anything other than what we wanted. We planned out what would go on the stone again with no pressure but plenty of patience. With that done they had the paperwork the cemetery would need so we were now ahead in the process. We got that filled out and dropped it off ourself. A few days went by and they worked with the cemetery to get everything done. We called the cemetery after a few more days to see if they got all the paperwork handled and were told the stone was delivered and set that morning. Total time was two weeks.

Mai Le is the best! She was so helpful and explained everything. She made a difficult time easier.

I do not recommend choosing this business, they make lot of mistakes. Thing twice before risking your money. I’m sorry 😞

Do not do business at this place. We placed the order and by the time they finished it they gave us the wrong headstone model. The owner was very very rude. They did not want to take responsibility for the mistake. We paid for something and got the wrong design. Very hurtful!

This place will try to scam you. They told my wife a quote for $4500 dollar. When I came in to talk to Mai, she drop the price down to $2300 dollars.. They first are very nice and try to win your business. We waited almost 6 month for our headstone which was promise to us in 2 month. When we call to check in on the stone. Mai Le would always give us an attitude. Worst place to do business. Will not recommend to anyone.

My mother and I drove across town and even though it was after 10 am which is their posted opening time the doors were locked, we rang the bell and knocked and waited for over five minutes and nobody came to open the door. Very disappointed to make the drive all the way to Spring to find the business closed with no explanation

This place is horrible!!! Do not go there!! The lady was very rude and when we told her that the stone had mistakes and was not the design the we approved she told me “you can stand there for 7 years and I will tell you the same thing” they did not care about us (the customer) even when it was their mistake. Honestly it was our mistake for not reading the reviews before.

Mai did a grat job working with us on my parents tombstone after the passing of my Dad. We provided a sketch of what we were wanting/idea of what we had in mind and she quickly pulled an example of what she could do for us. Since this is such a final representation of our loved ones and wanted this to be perfect, she worked with us again to modify the design and gave us great customer service. She was honest on the timing and was responsive when I asked about updates. Lead times have been a little longer due to COVID but it was definitely worth the wait. The tombstone was PERFECT and BEAUTIFUL when we saw it before final payment. We cant wait to see it installed at the cemetery. Thank you so much for everything during such a difficult time for our family!!

Mai Le made the most difficult time in my life stress free. It is very difficult to loose a love one and I lost my husband of 30 years tragically. Mai Le and her husband was very supportive and kind. I recommend Headstone World 110%....

Everytime we call to check on the status, the lady in charge would always give us an attitude. It has been 5 month and still no stone. She told us it would only take 2 month. Save yourself the trouble of having to deal with these people. They are very rude with no communication. She refuse to give me a refund even when she is 6 month over the stone due date. Something that was suppose to be done in 2 month will turn out to be 8 month. Please do not do business here.

The worse service I have ever experienced in my lifetime. Not only did this woman lie to us, but she cheated us out of money. Nearly 5 months after the initial payment, nothing has been done. When I went to get a refund, she didnt even have her books straight. I had to pull up a bank statement just to prove that I paid her in full. I explained to her that she really let my family down and she had the nerve to tell me that I didnt understand how busy shes been. Due to COVID her business is booming, but I am supposed to feel sorry for her? I lost my mother in the summer and her grave has yet to be memorialized, but this company is the victim?!!!Do not even give this place a second look.

The one star is for the lack of customer service. Placed the order in August of 2020 and was told that the turn around time would be 2 weeks. I am just now receiving my grave markers (October 12,2020). I never received a call and when I did I was told to text ONLY. While viewing a grave marker an employee approaches me and says, Oh you are so picky. Please keep in mind that I was not talking to him nor working with this employee on my order. This business needs to have a customer service seminar on how to interact with customers and people as well to be efficient in communicating any changes with the delivery timeline. I do not appreciate what happen to me at all. I told Mai Le (owner) about what happened and there was no remorse for what her employee did. I hope that they make this improvement which will help them in the long run.-Frence Thompson

The owners were so kind and worked really hard to make sure the headstone was EXACTLY what I wanted. I made several changes to the image to get it just right and Mai knew how to do everything I asked and never made me feel like I was being too much trouble. The turnaround on the stone was also very quick, less than 2 weeks and the price beat everywhere else I looked. It turned out beautifully. Thank you so much!

This place has the worst customer service ever. We order the headstone back in March, did not receive the stone till December. They kept saying telling us the stobe was not ready and kept talking us to wait. Everytime we call, Mai would tell us to wait or go somewhere else. Terrible service and have been the worst experience in my life. We lost a love one and had to deal with this messed.

Our father pass away during COVID. We went here for a quote and got one from Mai. She was very nice when she wanted the business. After 2 month, our stone was not ready. We called multiple times to check but they did not have our stone. 7 month later now.. still no stone. She give me an attitude everytime I call to check on the status.. Not sure what kind of business this is.. We lost a love one to COVID and they are very rude about the situation. All I wanted to do was check the status and get the same response, you wait, its not ready. She even refuse to give me my money back. Terrible business

We lost our grandfather and decided to go with this place because it was cheaper then other we found. Worst mistakes of our lives. The people were very rude, Mai keeps saying she will give us a call back with the update but never actualyl did. It took us 8 month to get our tombstone. I understand that COVID might have slow down the process but the lady was very rude each time we call. Will not recommend this to anyone. Save yourself the headache.

We lost my father since last October, we decided to try this location for his headstone purchase should of never done it. Weve had issues with completion of it we placed the order since 3/7/20 its now August and we have not had the stone set. The customer service is horrible the lady in charge is rude, her best phrase is were working on it please make sure to get an actual contract with warranty on it and dont pay till its actually set on the tomb. What angers me the most is they dont see how this is not just a stone its a memory for our love one who is no longer in this earth.

I ordered my moms headstone from Mai Le. It took her and I approximately an hour to design it. Mai Le was very patient with the many changes I made to it. She is a true professional when it comes to designing the layout. I also asked for the impossible and asked Mai Le if she could have it made no later than the 10th. I asked her this on the 23rd. It was ready on the 9th. Thank you Headstone World for being a company that I will definitely return to.

Worst service of my life, they lie and give incorrect dates and never respond to texts or calls and they are rude. They are only nice at the beginning while they are getting paid. Go somewhere else please they will use Covid as an excuse. They read messages and dont even bother replying. Worst expeience of my life.

I recently purchased a flat stone from Headstone world!! I ordered ordered it on the 1st and was ready by the 7th of March! I was able to create the perfect image and verbiage ! Many choices to pick from and... Mai Le could almost read my mind ... Reasonably priced too!

Tonys wife was out on maternity leave and he assisted my sister and I. He was very nice and professional. He stated he could design whatever we needed to remember our mother. Tony also said he would deliver to cemetery in La Marque. When I returned to place the order Mai Le was very patient, and designed on the computer what we wanted. Today Tony kept his word and delivered my mothers headstone. I emailed a photo to my siblings the finished product. We were all very pleased with the work. Beautiful and Magnificent were the comments. This is the best headstone company, their customer service is excellent. They laser artwork on the granite is unbelievable it looks so realistic. The price is great compare to what the cemetery and other monument company quote us, I do recommend Headstone World Houston to everyone. You will be happy with Headstone World just as I am.

Today I went and purchased Mom’s monument. They are new business here in Houston on 45. Even though mom passed in February 2016 it is still very hard for me to accept. I️ literally think of her every day.Le was awesome in helping me.But what I really love is that they are affordable. The one I purchased it was going to be about $3 to 4000.00 everywhere else I checked. This place was so much cheaper and engraving was free and I’ll have it by next week. My son was robbed and murdered 🆔 stolen so they was not able to identify the body. We was able to finally get him buried but no headstone. The funeral home was very pricey so for months he went again without 🆔 on his grave. He was turning 21 in a week so we wanted that to be his birthday gift. Everyone else said it was going to take 4 to six weeks or longer. I prayed on it more An angel appeared on my phone with this company on it so I call and went to visit. Tony was amazing he is a very talented designers and decor(lamps) man. He made us feel like loved family and he cared about my son finally having an ID for his grave and our income situation which I am very grateful for to this day. We then meet Mai another amazing angel she was the business side but a blessing too. Tony had us with one thing that we wanted to stick to but she had to update him on numbers lol. She stayed hours with us to get the best picture combo for my son. The best blessing was they could have it ready that week. We was able to have his headstone revealed at his balloon release. It turned out amazing everyone stops and ask Wow look at this I want this for my love one. The picture looks so real. We received the laser headstone so when I visit him it is like he looking and smiling with me priceless. Thank you God and Tony and Mai and your baby girl. The best

I bought my husband headstone from this company very piss poor services i paid for the headstone in full in the first week of April and my husband headstone did not get put down until July. Then the wrong ring was placed on the head stone and they went to put the right ring on the headstone and it messed up the picture on the headstone please I would advise yall to go elsewhere to get your 💘 Love ones taken care of

Not one star would give this place. She initially gave us a price with the stone that my brothers and I chose. We waited 5 months for it to be ready and when we went to pick it up ... IT WAS NOT WHAT WE CHOSE !!! She did not want to accept her mistake and told me that I could spend 10 years with her there and not accept her mistake. We had to bring what she ordered. A VERY BAD SERVICE SHE WAS VERY OR MORE THAN RUDE. Regardless of how we felt we had that order for my dad. I dont want to see her or have her face in my mind.Horrible job, horrible service her a very bad communication!
