Received a wonderful and professional experience with Mr. Glass & Mirror!! I called them on Monday, the tech came out on Tuesday morning to get the dims and give me a rough quote. Their price was fair and I agreed to the work. They came on Friday of the same week and completed the work in less than 3 hours!Very satisfied with the PRICE, WORK and PROFESSIONALISM. The sales rep (sorry forgot her name, but she was very friendly) was patient with my questions and gave me all choices and estimates upfront. Next, the dude that came, got the dims and gave me estimated start date which turned out to be earlier than he stated. Finally the build-crew was quick, friendly and efficient.Would definitely use again, great work guys!(See pictures)

We needed a glass for our patio door and showed up with the frame. They were able to install a glass into the frame without a problem the same day. Ninnette was awesome in explaining the various types of glass that would be best for our door. She has great customer service and they were prompt in having it done the same day. We are very pleased with the finished product and Ninnette’s outstanding service. We look forwards doing more future business with her again.

I want to start off by saying that the management here is a joke. My parents called in because they ordered a custom 60 inch round table glass and the measurements were off by 1/8, so instead of a 60 inch glass we received a 60 1/8 inch glass, and yes it seems like a small difference but it is definitely noticeable. Then besides that the glass won’t sit flat on the table, it stands up on one side, so it looks uneven especially with it being a longer length than the table. The manager was on the phone and she was informed of all the issues wrong with the glass. We told her the glass is 60 1/8 inches instead of 60 inches and she proceeded to tell us “no we use a machine to cut the glass so if you ordered a 60 inch glass the machine will cut it to 60 inches.” So we sent her a picture where it clearly showed the glass measuring 60 1/8 inches, and now she wanted to change her words around and say “We have a tolerance of 1/8.” Then later she tried saying that we weren’t measuring the glass that we were measuring the table. How? The glass is sitting on top of the table. We were measuring the glass. It didn’t matter anything we would tell her she was just going to continuously keep blaming us for the faulty glass. She had any possible excuse ready to throw at us just so she nor the company would be in the wrong. She even told us that our table was most likely uneven, and if it wasn’t the table oh it was our floor that it isn’t completely flat. All these empty assumptions she was making without even coming to actually see it. We asked if she could send someone over to look at the glass and she said they didn’t have anybody available for today, so we asked if she could send someone tomorrow and all of a sudden “Oh we can’t send somebody you have to purchase a new glass in order for us to send someone over.” So we asked if they really couldn’t come see how messed up the glass looks and she just kept repeating the same thing, and then she added that they didn’t even offer warranty (we were never told the glass came without warranty beforehand) for the glass so there’s nothing she would do unless if we ordered a new glass. For what? Why would we order another 60 inch glass just to receive another 60 1/8 inch glass, because REMEMBER they “have a tolerance of 1/8.” The whole conversation with the manager was just a lost cause, it was never going anywhere. On their website they state “Our main goal is to satisfy our customers by providing the best quality product and outstanding service at a very affordable price.” False. Except for the affordable price, but it comes with a cost of horrible/unfair service and poor quality. Their website also states “Our honesty, integrity, reliability, and competitive pricing have given us a great reputation in the Houston market. Leaving our customers with the desire of hiring us again and again.” Again false, definitely cannot rely on this establishment and the only thing that was competitive was the managers attitude. I’m surprised customers desire to hire y’all again and again cause this was the first and last time we would hire from here. The manager needs to learn to put her pride to the side while she’s at work in order to achieve “outstanding service.” Excuse me for being so blunt but after the experience and the headache we had here this review had to be written. Company’s always seem to do more for themselves than for their customers. I’m extremely disappointed because we really tried to give this place a chance.

I want to share that I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends. The same day we called in to get a quote over the phone for a shower door, they send a tech. Out the same day. Within a matter of days we were able to enjoy our beautiful new shower enclosure. I am very pleased with the Customer service the office staff and installers provided I will be looking forward to install the second bath with this company soon.

As a contractor, my experience working with Mr. Glass and Mirror for the last 10 years has been excellent. The quality of their frameless glass shower enclosures is very good. They do a great job of calling me to notify me when they will arrive at the job site. I highly recommend them.

CUSTOMER RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Good for you, for having satisfied customers. We were not. Honest and fair is one way to put it. How about being honest from the very beginning? Your company told us a bunch of “policies” you had until AFTER the messed up glass we received. We weren’t informed of your “policies” beforehand and if we were we wouldn’t had came here.The order we placed was a 60” glass and we received it 1/8 bigger than our order. So no sir we definitely did not receive our order correctly, and besides that it was defective it was not completely flat it stands up on one side. I would not be writing this if our order was actually correct. We can’t magically make our table bigger to fit the glass we received from you. Oh but we’re supposed to just deal with it right? Just because y’all informed us about your “policies” until after. We have ordered in the past a glass from a different company and we did not have this ridiculous problem, with excuses thrown on top of it, and the attitude from your employees and yourself. We received the correct size, it fit perfectly and it was flat. Unlike the glass we received from you. And yes we did provide measurements. Measurements that apparently this company could not follow correctly. And had to use the excuse of a “policy” you have that you have a tolerance of 1/8 bigger or smaller to not fix it for us.And yes we haven’t and won’t bring the glass to you to “inspect” it, because we got fed up with you and your company and want no business here. Not like it was going to be fixed anyways cause remember the “policy” you mentioned earlier?? And you think after the way your company talked to us that we still want to go back there? No thank you. The attitude we received from the manager and the other guy that talked to us the day after was UNNECESSARY. Pretty sure if you the owner went as a customer elsewhere and got talked to like that you wouldn’t had been thrilled either and would not go back. You need to learn to put yourself in the shoes as a customer to understand things a bit clearer. And we have yet to receive an apology for that, you just keep addressing everything else but cannot address and apologize for the way we got talked to from YOUR COMPANY. So that itself speaks a lot. That you’re okay with your employees going around talking to your customers like that. But that’s okay we never expected an apology coming from this company anyways & we don’t need it anymore cause we would’ve had it by now if you sincerely wanted to apologize for your employees behavior. And also just because you wouldn’t change our glass because of your “policy” doesn’t mean other companies wouldn’t. This is YOUR policy not every other companies policies. I would expect better from a 18+ year old company, but your pride is just too big, even to simply apologize for your company’s attitude.I hope you and your company do much better in the future with these kind of situations and hope all of you learn to control yourself. Also learn to make your customers aware of all your “policies” beforehand not until after something goes wrong.

It states on the review exactly WHY it was posted. At the end he was just telling us the same thing the manager was saying yesterday, he was even starting to get heated so we decided to tell him we were just going to end the call instead of arguing. He even tried to intimidate us with saying “you know I’m gonna respond to that review right?” Okay. Go ahead respond. This company is still at fault whether you respond or not, y’all were probably going to flip things around again and say we (the customer) was in the wrong. Any future customers deserve to know what kind of unprofessionalism to expect when they come here.If you don’t want bad reviews it’s simple just start treating your customers better. Don’t call your customers criticizing them over why they wrote a bad review when it’s the truth. Start acting like a company and being professional with your customers, and if y’all don’t want to act professional that’s fine at the end of the day this company is just hurting itself, just make sure not to blame your customer when it happens. I am a vendor myself and deal with customers daily & I do not EVER treat my customers the way we got treated here. We went here because the price was cheaper than other places but that was our mistake we should’ve went elsewhere even though it might’ve been a bit more expensive but the service would’ve been more professional. I am more than pleased with Mr. Glass. My family shopped around and got several quotes for replacing there shower door after an unplanned bathroom renovation. From the very beginning, they were the best in every way. Their tech Sergio, who came to my parents’ home to give them a quote was very informative and friendly with my family. He was even patient and understanding when we were 15min late to our appointment. He answered every question we had, it was obvious he had experience which made us feel comfortable.Once he left my parents’ home it wasn’t more than 15min before a gentleman from their office emailed & texted me a detailed sketch and quote. Mauricio spoke directly with my father and the customer service didn’t change no matter who spoke with us. The gentlemen always replied promptly to my texts when I messaged him with questions, even after working hours, and when it came to closing the deal he helped my parents out and didn’t charge us taxes.Upon install, the two gentlemen were just as kind to my parents. They worked quietly and efficiently. They left the bathroom cleaner than they found it from the previous contractor. They showed me everything and answered my questions. Some of their prices were comparable with the others, but there attention to detail and customer service is hard to find.

I am currently using free time I have from work during quarantine to remodel my home. Being an indecisive person I was just shopping around for prices. When I called other companies I noticed they all seemed rushed to hang up on me once I explained I was only looking for a price. Mr. Glass seems to have a different process when it comes to customer service, the gentleman at the office answered ALL my questions, he was polite, helped me with a recommendation for my tile work and even gave me his cell phone number to bother him with more questions after our call. I have the tile guy booked for this weekend and I am looking forward to working with this company for my shower door. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Terrible customer service and installation. Dealing with these people has been my worst experience in dealing with any contractor. The have lied to me numerous time. Here is my store, do not use these useless people. Called to setup the for install they wanted to come between 1:30-3pm, i said i would be home by 2pm. Then they tell me I have to see if we can come at that time they already unloaded my order. How did they unload my order when I am talking to you on the phone and you did not talk to anyone while I am on the phone with you. They finally showed up to install the shower doors which I order for 5 bathrooms and a framed mirror, they show up with only 2 of the 5. They installed the semi frameless shower I walk in the guest bathroom to check the installation, they installed the wrong color. I ordered chrome they installed some brass color, WTH!!! Paperwork clearly shows chrome. They installed the mirror in the master bath uneven, it was about 15 degrees off from being straight. How are you a shower and mirror company and you cannot install a mirror correctly resulting in additional holes in my wall to install the mirror level. Why do I arrive home and you have your truck parked in my new driveway oil free with an old truck. Installer did not use shoe covers tracking in dirt throughout my brand new house. They finally returned with 4 shower doors and no master bathroom door after numerous lies about calling to schedule the appointment. Had to return a 3 time to install the master frameless shower and while drilling holes cracked the tile. I had to get the tile replaced and schedule them to return. They were do to call me back to setup the appointment, never returned the call. I called them a day prior they still have a recording from NYE 2019 and their voicemail is full. I made the mistake of using this company, please do not use them. I should have went with my first plan to use Shower Doors of Houston but went with a little cheaper price and not worth the hassle. They lied numerous time about returning calls and setting up the appointment, do yourself a favor and call someone else. I hope this help you to make an informed decision unlike myself.

We had a wonderful experience with Mr.glass. All the staff was very great to deal with and they did an amazing job on both our bathrooms. We had 2 shower doors and 2 mirrors installed... The were very price competitive and did the job in a timely manner. The also rushed to get a shower door done for us!

In time like this I should not need to worry about getting shower doors installed, my wife is a first responder at a local hospital, I wish I could keep my attention on her well being but I have to write this review. Glass workers sent to replace glass in front door were not trained or well experienced in front door glass replacement. In addition they did not speak or communicate in English well. After installing the glass purchased, Mr Glass did not place the glass correctly in the door and failed initially to properly insulate with caulk. I do not recommend Mr Glass for your project.

I had a really bad experience with this company. They came to measure my formal dining room wall for a full mirror. I paid half down and they came to install within less than a week later. They brought 3 pieces of glass to cover the wall and neither of them fit at all. The pieces where cut too short for my wall with gaps from top of my wall to mirror and the side at top had gap not at bottom. Clearly you can see the mirror was cut wrong. The came to my home 3 more different times with no new glass the correct size, only to convince me to add 5 inch bevel to cover the gap because the owner didn’t want to take a loss making me the correct size mirror. The owner never called. I received several calls from his workers also trying to convince me to add a glass border to cover 1 inch gap. They all relayed the message that the owner was not going to replace the mirrors and one actual said I would have to pay for new cut. I just wanted it corrected, the nice mirror they said they can make. In my opinion this company is not getting enough business to take a loss when they make a mistake.. I made a big mistake trusting them. They do not stand behind their warranty or word..... ps I see some reviews with 5 stars and they are mostly the workers because Sergio is on here giving 5 stars and he is the first person that came to my house for initial measurements and he came a few day later wanting to add 5 inch bevel. EMPLOYEES CAN’T GIVE REVIEWS! They are not real customers!.... FUNNY how the Owner has the time to sit and write a response to this review but did not have the time or professionalism to communicate with a unsatisfied customers to make things right. YES I’m sure you are professionals when you want something.. like customers money. I had to spend a lot more money to get your low quality work take down and had Galaxy Glass to do the job right the first time and they had no problem. It cost to get quality work and I’m ok with that if it looks good..... I’m going to get those horrible photo from my bank claim and attach that trashy work your company did to this review to save others the headache.
