Had a very horrible experience. I phoned first before going to the store as last time I was told Mr Ming is the one who would answer how many yards I need etc etc ... I called and they told me that yes he is in store I drove almost and one hour and a half to meet him and give him all the necessary details like measurements of the windows, pictures of the windows and also I had a final idea of what cloth to be picked . I have 25 windows to cover ... no body even acknowledged even after asking them.so many times I have all the details I just need to know how many yards to take ... one ofthe associates told me Ming is here talk to them and the great almighty Ming didnt even want to listen to me and treat me like any customers they were treating . He had time to answer every other customers questions but not mine. May be because im an Asain indian he clearly didnt want to do business with him. These are few of the windows I already selected the fabric but sadly didnt get any help. I had everything picked and thought.

I purchased some very high quality Curtains at a very reasonable price, the service teams is very attentive and courteous.They have a variety of select fabric for all types of projects. Would highly recommend.

I had a chair and an ottoman reupholstered and Fabric Decor did a fantastic job, Very nice work and fast (3 1/2 weeks) and I will recommend them to anyone that asks! I have had other upholsterers keep my furniture for months!

This store has an array of fabrics from which to choose. I had 6 table chair cushions; 4 bar stool cushions; 2 rocking chair cushions; and custom pillows made for my outdoor living area. Rebecca was most helpful in getting me to select the best fabrics for outdoors. She communicated with me every step of the way. The craftsmanship of my decor items are par excellence and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be using Fabric Decor again in the very near future.

We had custom draperies for windows in our living room. It is impressive that the owner and his employees are very nice and professional while we discussed our needs for custom draperies. They also worked very hard to complete our products soon. We are very happy to get high quality and beautiful products with very competitive price.

Raul is always extremely helpful in locating different textures and styles of fabric at extremely competitive prices. We most recently had a chaise custom made which turned out perfect. I would highly recommend.

Disappointing ExperienceSometime ago, I was in need of upholstery fabric for trimming pillows, duvets and drapery and started shopping for suitable fabrics. Because the ongoing pandemic protocol has impacted business availability, consumer expectations and resources, I decided to check out alternative options. Since I was in the area and looking for specialty fabric, I visited the Fabric Decor store. This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised by the merchandising and enormous fabric selection. This includes the drapery sample displays and vast inventory of upholstery trims. There were only two additional customers in the showroom, so there were no issue moving freely about the showroom before making my final selections. After informing the receptionist of my readiness to purchase, she promptly contacted a staff member for assistance. When he arrived, I pointed out the selected fabrics and provided the quantity specifics. He acknowledged that he understood my request and motioned for me to return to the receptionist’s station. Before responding, I asked whether he intended to move the fabric bolt to a cutting table for accurate measuring snd cutting. He displayed a wooden yard stick and indicated that he was not. When I asked why it was necessary to return to the receptionist station, he stated that I “needed to pay first” because I “might change my mind after the material was cut”. I asked him to pause until I spoke with receptionist. Hoping to gain clarity, I returned to the receptionist station who confirmed her associate‘s explanation and pointed to a sign above her work station. Additional discussion revealed that it is the “store policy to collect payment before cutting the fabric because there is history of some customers changing their minds about their selections, before paying”. Needless to say, sadly I did not complete my purchase.My primary concerns should be obvious. Purchasing upholstery fabric and decisions making are not new experiences. Typically, fabric is measured and cut on a cutting table in front of the customer to ensure cutting accuracy and to identify ‘hidden’ fabric flaws, damage, etc. Simply put, the practice of paying before the fabric is cut and unwitnessed is not a good faith business practice- it does not instill confidence or trust. I am not encouraged to return or make a recommendation for this business. Thankfully, there are alternatives-there are a great number of fabric stores in Houston that conduct sound and ethical business practices as well as provide great customer service. Unfortunately. this is not one of them.

Fabric Decor did an amazing job recovering two chairs and some dining chair cushions. Rebecca was responsive and transparent in her pricing. The craftsmanship was excellent. I could not be more pleased.

They do have a lot of fabrics to choose from but they are not very customer friendly. I asked several employees for help and no one seemed to be in a hurry to come help. I even went to ask the cashier for help as she walked away from her post and she just walked away from me. I was ready to make a purchase but couldn’t buy because no one wanted to help answer my questions.

Mostly upholstery, although they have a small but reasonable priced selection of fashion fabrics. Their trim stock is where its at tho.

So many different types of fabrics and reasonably priced. There is a clearance area to the right side of the store. I purchase fabric for my headboard and footboard and will show pictures of how it looks with the material in photo attached.

They are true professionals and take great pride in their work. I shopped around before choosing them and their prices are extremely competitive.

This place had row after row and room after room FULL of fabric! So much to look at a choose from. They have very knowledgeable staff that helped me from from purchasing a material too lite for covering furniture. Boy were they right! I keep going back and Im like a kid in a candy store every time!!! Prices are great!!!! Some are less than $2 a yard!!! Tons of other fabric related items and materials to buy too!!!

We had two pieces reupholstered and they did a great job on both. One was a cedar chest lid and the other was a chair and ottoman. My husband says the chair is more comfortable than the original! We are pleased with the quality of workmanship as well as the way they communicated with us throughout the process. Highly recommend them!

Intersting place. More fabric than You can imagine. Wonderful. Getting help. That was rough. Having never been there, every question was answered with another question. That became tedious.Q: Why go there? Variety. The Upholstry Shop we found, that does impecable work, said to go there. If You go, do Your homework before hand. Get aquaninted online with what Yoy want.Q: Will we go back? Maybe. If we do, we need to simplify the process. If go there first, look on back of sample. Each sample has a scan code which will take You to the manufacturers website. Helpful.All in all, prepare to spend some time looking.Q: Can You save money there? Maybe. Its all about variety and finding exactly what You want. If they dont have organist get it, pick something else.

Disappointed for the window treatments and upholstery job services, patterns not matching, welting no tight and loosen cording on chairs they recovered with very poor quality products. Lack of experience of customer service and bad attitude. All fabrics prices are about same compare to Interior Fabrics and Perfect Windows. Recommend to do more research around the area before placing any custom orders and purchasing any fabrics.They have poor return policies for fabrics and money refunds, most of time their fabrics has some flaws and they are not willing to admit it and unwilling to compensate the defective products and services.Also, they are the only one sell with even calculate with 1/4 or 3/8 yards fabrics or materials to customer, I have never experience before for any retail stores.

My experience is not a good one. I am dissatisfied with their business. They say they make custom made drapes but that’s only in their terms. They are not trying to accommodate their customers. Also, trying to charge me double for the price of one. So for these reasons, I’m out!

I am a regular at their Harwin store and was so excited to know they have a new location! It is much bigger and brighter. Fabrics are organized according to colors just like Harwin store, but its much less crammed and has much more selections with same great prices! A must go to, or should I say, two must go to fabric stores :)) ?
