Business hours show open on site of map but Im here its show closed. They should put online hours closed for holidays. I came here and waste 30 mins drive.. Also they have not call if the dress ready. I been waiting for a month now. I still not hear from them.

The worst service ever! Nobody ever answers the phone or respond to text. I had to call the Plano store to get assistance on my order. The logo on my child’s shirt is lifting. I wish I could give a NEGATIVE star then I would cause this is HORRIBLE. Then they send automatic messages and never get back to you.

Unacceptable!!I was extremely hesitant on purchasing anything from here and I should have trusted my gut instincts. I purchased navy school shirts that have The Rice School logo. After ONE wear the patch is falling completely off! Had I known the patch was applied to the shirts via heat and not embroidered I would have opted out of buying them. What this store charged $20+ to do I could’ve done for half the cost. This is absolutely ridiculous. The customer service is nonexistent, the quality of material is very poor, I do NOT recommend.

Placed order August 2nd. Not only items are overpriced, almost one month later (August 30th), the order is still pending. E-mail and chat requests to cancel the order are ignored. No one ever picks up a phone, and their voice box is full.

This is the first year at ILT and I was super excited to buy my son uniforms, I do understand the rules so I wasnt touching anything and it was 3 ladys one customer so they where having their own conversation, I asked a small question on where an item was. so I can take a look and see for my self then one of the ladys goes to me and said how can I help you I let her know nicely that I am looking and If I need it help I will asked. Then she said Im here to get you out the store sooner so what do you need help on... it wasnt a bad experience. I went from been overly excited to totally dessapointed at the location.

Academic Outfitters is the worst place to purchase your childrens uniforms! Overpriced and poor customer service with an extremely rude Owner!

Store is a complete waste of time. Line out the door, understandable, but if people continuously keep walking out after paying, they could at least let some people in... Waited for over an hour and never got in... order online if you need to buy from here because of Logo. Otherwise FrenchToast carries EVERYTHING from here

Ridiculous how can I check on my order that I paid nearly $400.00 on you all never answer the phone or respond back through text, I would like my children’s uniforms or a refund IMMEDIATELY! You know I think I will start my own uniform store because this is beyond unprofessional.

Customer service is not good at all. You can not even get someone to even answer the phones. Their voice mail clearly states to please text or email them. Which I have done several times and they do not answer that as well. All of their items are expensive and they just know how to take your money, but not care about helping you when you have a question. Definitely disappointed.

I order 6 items on tax free weekend I got 4 items today still waiting on 2 they never answer the phone calls they direct phone calls to automated messages

I came here late around 15 till closing I asked for 3 embroidered items the staff were helpful Diana and the other woman working went out of their way to do it on the spot and I am truly thankful 🥲 since I work 6days a week and live on the other side of town . Just good people I’m telling ya ! I recommend this place to all check them out they have quality work !

They never ever answer the phone, if you try to text, same scenario don’t buying in if they don’t have stock unless you haven’t alternative

Horrible establishment only one store available to buy my daughter uniforms line always wrapped so I ordered on line and shipped to the store still havent received been almost 2 weeks and i been calling everyday no answer this will be my daughter last year at ILT been over it

The store does not tell you when order ready or answer phone. I paid for a jacket over a month ago and have not received any update as promised (text when ready).

Felt so rushed was willing to spend more, but oh well. Day before school starts and cashier was turning away business??? I couldnt believe it. Locked the door a few minutes early Saturday and they close Sundays. I got there before closing and was still rushed. Just not good buisness practice in my opinion. Store was very messy and I didnt understand their set up at all, as it was my 1st time there.

Everything I needed was in stock. The 10% off was a big help too! The customer service I received was awesome. The lady was very helpful to my daughter regarding size and fit of the clothes.

I was over joyed when my son was accepted to ILT. But the uniform process has left me with bitter memories.I purchased the shirts, which already had logos on them. As the owner told me they were pre pressed for the customers convience. I actually over spent. So today I was returning the shirts (5 in total equaling out to $120.00). And I was told the shirts could not be returned because they already had logos on the shirts. So this is truly an inconvenience to the customers. I do not understand why I can not return the shirts when the owner took it into his hands to have the shirts pre pressed. I will not be returning to this store EVER!!! I will have the shirts done somewhere else. I will also be contacting the school as well.

The staff are very friendly and busy. The 3 star rating is because the order I placed and paid for online was misplaced in the store. The service personnel handled it by getting another item and embossing it. Due to Covid19, I did everything online so I would not have to wait inside the store.

VERY EXPENSIVE!!! Make sure you shop online or local department stores for far better prices. Oh by the way good luck calling the store because they don’t answer the phone (at least when I tried calling during the business hours...and this was from the opening of their doors to nearly closing) They answered 3 days later! Be AWARE of their return policy!!! When it’s busy it’s hard to find help in the store and some employees can be rude. They focus on the register than being on the floor!

Incredibly overpriced! Dont believe the sample prices they post! And I tried to exchange shirts for a jacket. We bought the shirts off of their shelf with our schools logo on it. Thats how they were sold. But they wont let me exchange them because they have the logo on them. Again... I didnt put the logo on them thats how I picked them up off the shelf. Such crooks!

The prices are too expensive. The clothing that I bought were run very small. If you order yo uh may have to order at least 1 if not to 2 sizes larger. I could never get anyone on the phone. I am not impressed with this store. It was recommended by our childrens school. I dont think I will buy from them again or recommend them.

Very expensive. I had my own shirts made elsewhere for my Children’s uniforms and paid less than half the price. There was no way I could afford a whole week worth of uniforms at this place.

They dont easily find orders made on line. Keep people waiting for long so as to retrieve orders. No restroom for customers. This a busy place that serves a lot of schools and other establishments. Kindly provide a restroom for customers, and if possible a sitting area. .

The owner of this place should be ashamed of themselves. Charter schools are in place to give low income families a chance at a better education. This is the only store that has the uniforms and you are totally taking advantage of these families with the prices you are charging for the uniforms. It is hard enough for a single parent as it is and businesses like this makes you feel like a failure of a parent bc we simply can not afford for the clothes. One skirt and two blazers $250 are you kidding me. For two children to have the uniforms they need for the week is my rent. Shameful

The place is terrible. No one ever answers the phone, text or emails. They never have anything in stock knowing that they are the only place where we can get uniforms for a lot of schools. They also know that July & August are their busiest so why not have over stock instead of having empty shelves. Lines are always long. Very frustrating store.

Weve made three trips to the store now...through no fault of the store. Every time we were there, we had a very helpful, courteous employee taking care of us (and each of the three times it was someone different). They are top-notch! I wish all businesses would care as much about the customer as they do.

The Charter School that my youngest daughter attends just switched over to this Company this year....so the uniforms are extra Pricey...especially the skirts which are extra for Custom made Im here now to pick up a long sleeved shirt I ordered in store & the school has been flexible about the uniforms...overall...this place has a good selection& decent Customer Service😁

Im so disgusted with this place. I placed an order 2 weeks ago just to be told it still want ready as of Thursday the first day of school. I CANNOT FIND A REPLACEMENT ANYWHERE ELSE and specific uniforms are required on Mondays. This everywhere piss poor service to me. I wish schools would consider the inconvenience of only one uniform store selling uniforms. Then return policy is if its something that must be ordered no returns. Then the inconvenient store hours are ridiculous. I had to rush over on my lunch break just to be told sorry. I just updated it online. So annoyed at this point.

Considering that its the only place to get uniforms for some schools I would think this store would be in a bigger place with more parking and more registers. I have been here a couple of times and theres always a line of 15+ people. I recently waited 45 min just to return a jumper.

Ive had many trips to this store, and have found everyone to be helpful. Great help with the returns and ordering odd items. Clothing is of super quality. Staff made everything easy, and took out the guesswork.

My kids were recently accepted to ILT, due to this I had to buy their Monday wear at this store. I was strongly advised to do so. Unfortunately I didnt do my background research. Jumpers that cost here $35-40 were in other stores for half the price! Same color, same size, same brand, and same style!THIS STORE IS A RIPOFF!

My uniform shirts button fell off so easily. Not worth the cost. Happened to many of my polo shirts.

To whoever wants to buy uniforms from this store please buy one at a time because once you purchase it they will not let you exchange It and the customer service is extremely rude,all I wanted to do was exchange for a different merchandise but they refused.

This place is awful. I placed an order (and paid in full) seven weeks ago, long before the first day of school. Now, my daughter has been in school a full two weeks and we havent received our full order. I received a call that the order was ready. When I arrived, I was told that they must have made a mistake; because the skirts are not in. I spoke to the manager to find out when I could expect my items. He said Whenever the shipment comes in. Wow!!

Horrible service! They dont answer phone calls... do not use them been waiting for more than a week for my order which they said one be done in a couple of days ..they sure were attentive when it came to taking my money but dont have the decency to answer calls ... This place has plenty of friendly people working there to assist you. Got everything I needed except for one out of stock item. Been calling to see if its back in stock. Wish they answer their phone. Hate to drive an hour for nothing.

The store is pretty well organized and the staff is pretty helpful if you should happen to have any questions. My only issue is their pricing. Lets say a polo for school XYZ costs $25. Said polo is nothing special; just your typical polo you can get at Walmart for $10, but because they embroider it you get charged twice as much. I understand the markup but geezze!! For us parents who are on a budget and also have to buy school supplies, that $25 polo times 6 racks up real quick!!

My kids got accepted at ITL. This store was recommend. Prices were sky high. So, I just bought the maroon/white POLO shirts from a Local Uniform Store, and purchase the Patches at the School. $3.00 a piece. Iron them on myself. Save $100. … I have to purchase the Ties & Gym clothes here though. I ordered online for pick up. I didnt see anything explaining if im going to received a email when its ready, or do I just arrive and pick it up? Id called/ text and email numerous times. Finally stopped by 6 days later. They were kind of Busy, Super Nice. They explained Yes, I have to wait for a email. (something that could have been email or text) instead of me wasting fuel (I live 30 mins away) . I realized its only when school starts its busy not during the year. BUT ITS OK it is what it is.... I love that they were playing KSBJ :)

Went there to get my school uniforms. Great service ran by students very helpful.

My son made it into a local charter school at the last minute (he had been waitlisted) and I ordered uniforms for my son from Academic Outfitters because theyre the only place we were told carried the schools uniforms. After several unsuccessful attempts to order because their website kept crashing, I was finally able to submit my order, only to find that thanks to a glitch in their system, it used the billing address as the shipping address.The billing address on our card is a Louisiana address. My kid starts school next Friday.So, Ive called, emailed, and texted them repeatedly since this morning with the correct shipping address so we can make sure the uniforms are shipped to the correct address. Havent heard a word back from them yet. Im going to be really pissed if I end up having to pay extra for these uniforms to be overnighted from Louisiana because these people cant seem to get their business together.If I hear back from AO in the near future, Ill be happy to edit my review and change my rating, but as far as first impressions go, Im pretty disgusted.Edited: It has now been three days. Finally received a response through the messaging system on their website. They said they have adjusted the address and will let me know when the order is shipped. Hopefully they got the sizes and items correct as well.

Absolutely ridiculous, will not take returns on items they keep in stock on the shelves if they have embroidered or patched. Not custom items or altered items, but in stock items. The owner James was not helpful or polite. Guess when you have a monopoly you do not have to give any customer service.

Everyone was really helpful. They helped us get everything we need and it was pretty busy.

Horrible customer service to a disrespectful level when it come to the owner. He talks to people as if they are beneath him. He is running a business and therefore should learn how to keep customers not lose them and anyone I tell now from the school my kids are attending! Would of given a 0!
