Dealt with Wayne Dalton on a garage door, sent a complaint into the bbb. The claim was sent to the above BBB for the amount of complaints Wayne Dalton has received from them. It took five months to get our garage door, Morgan Anderson and Gail Crine with Overhead garage door who owns Wayne-Dalton did nothing to help me get my door and the people under them gave me the run around and lied about contacting the installer.
As a distributor they are top notch. good communication and follow through . If they dont have something in stock they will order it for me
We had issues with our garage door not closing. Oscar from Wayne Dalton in Houston came out and he figured out the issue very quickly, got all his tools out from his truck and started to work right away and fixed it in about 20-30 minutes. He was very professional, knowledgeable and a really nice guy! I paid the service fee of about $89 which I think is a pretty good deal for all the work he did. Thanks Oscar!
Very disappointed with the service. The tech came out and did not have technical knowledge on how to fix my garage door. He said he needed to consult other technical expert and someone will contact me to provide a solution. I have not heard back for 2 weeks and when I received a call back was request for me to pay for the service fee for the tech who came out that did not provide any technical info nor solution. Since I had not heard back I had to find alternate solution to fix my garage door.
We have been very disappointed in their service. Two service calls did not solve our garage door problems. Then, they failed to follow through for third visit.
I have been dealing with this place for weeks and still do not have any answers. I purchased an older house in the historic district that has an older garage door. I know exactly what hinge I need but everyone keeps giving me the run around. I finally just purchased the hinges I needed online but that will take longer to get here and we were in a hurry because we are under contract with the next buyers of the home. Their staff needs to be able to help their customers better. I didnt just talk to one person but several who were short and rude. Too bad.
