I got my mask a few weeks ago and just got back from a dive trip to Key Largo. I absolutely love my new mask and the prescriptions are perfect. I wish I had bought one sooner.I ordered the Scubapro Synergy II with bifocals. What a difference being able to see my computer clearly now. The bifocal lens is in the perfect position where it is convenient to see my computer yet doesn’t get in the way.

When I realized I needed a pair of Rx goggles for my son, who will be getting his PADI certification with me in only a few days I panicked! Thankfully See The Sea RX came through. Big time! Excellent product and customer service! We did a rush order on two sets of snorkel gear, one requiring prescription lenses, with a tight time constraint. They helped me select the proper gear for my wife and me, and I sent them the prescription (with astigmatism), inadvertently switching the left for right eye. I called them, and they immediately made the change, and were able to deliver on time, as promised. The gear selected was perfect and well constructed, and the script lens application made all the difference during snorkeling. I was super excited to order some scuba goggles with prescription lenses. They are absolutely perfect! My prescription is really high, I have a stigmatism, so many issues, but these turned out just right. I can see!! Cant wait to use them soon.

Game changer is a word that gets tossed around a lot these days, but the prescription mask I purchased from Sea The Sea earns that description. I had been considering buying a prescription mask for a few years but always held off. It finally got to the point where it was a safety issue... I was having real challenges reading my gauge and my distance vision wasnt as clear as it once was. I looked at the options on the website and chatted with one of their employees before placing my order for a new mask with bifocal lenses. The order was processed and shipped in the timeframe they had given me and my mask arrived about a week before my dive trip to Hawaii. Having now spent a week diving with it I can honestly say that this is probably the single best upgrade I have made to my diving gear. Everything was so much clearer and easier. I could read my gauges easily with a quick glance and I was able to spot and identify fish from much further away. I also found so many more small creatures (nudibranchs and even a frog fish) that I never would have seen before. I am very greatly for the excellent staff and fine product from See The Sea. I worked with Josh over a period of a couple months getting my new snorkel mask. We were unsure which mask would fit my face best so he sent me a couple to try! By doing so I was also able to accurately mark my pupil locations for them to make the lens. The result was a spot on perfect mask that made my trip to the Caymans wonderful. These lenses are amazing.I was so thrilled to find See the sea! I absolutely loved the way they fit in my mask and they did not move but were totally part of the mask.Before I found See the Sea I bought some lenses from my local scuba shop. They came with an adhesive to attach the lenses to the mask.I followed the instructions exactly as was described. They were always slipping around in my mask.I tried multiple times to dry my mask andre-attach. No matter what I did they were never permanent.I didn’t have that problem with See the Sea lenses!!My last dive was in Fiji with sharks and I could totally enjoy watching them without worrying about my vision.Thank you See the Sea!

I have worn corrective glasses since I was 12, and love to snorkel. But being blind as a bat without my glasses always left me feeling I was missing out. Contact lenses arent possible as I have never been able to wear them. Anyway, now that Im older (much older) we booked a cruise to the southern Caribbean and planned to do a lot of snorkeling so I decided to check into a corrective snorkel mask. I almost waited too long to get it (2 weeks before departure... yeah dont know what I was thinking). Josh at See the Sea RX was a great help, he was able to expedite the process, was very helpful with questions regarding various mask and lens type. The mask was perfect, no leaks, the Rx was spot on, and I could finally see! We have another trip planned later in September and I cant wait to use the mask again. I also got a great snorkel tube and fins at the same time. I would very much recommend this company to anyone who needs a Rx snorkel or scuba mask.

I just finished a 4 day dive trip using my new mask with prescription lenses from See The Sea RX. What a difference, after battling with stick in lenses for quite a few years I am completely impressed and happy with my new mask. I cannot recommend highly enough the benefit of having your own prescription mask.And the mask is just the start of my review. I had a problem with my original script from the optometrist so the first attempt was not great but Josh was incredibly helpful and reassuring and really went out of his way to ensure I had a new mask with the correct prescription before I left for my trip. Due to Labor Day weekend, slow mail, severe weather in Texas and a mistake by FedEx, I thought my prescription lens mask might not arrive before I left for a diving trip to Fiji. Josh found my mask at the local FedEx with the address scraped off, and he considered using a courier to get it to NJ. We agreed to try sending the mask overnight. It arrived in time, and the excellent lenses are large and fairly thin. I am very happy with them.

First time I’ve purchased from See the Sea but they’re now my preferred vendor for prescription dive masks. I bought a mask from a dive shop, then did all the paperwork online, paid and then sent the mask for prescription lenses. With a dive trip around the corner, I asked about timing. Josh responded and provided excellent info throughout the process. He verified receipt of the mask and prescription and sent a photo after the work was done. The lenses are excellent and the turn around was quick.

I live in Central America presently and needed a prescription dive- snorkel mask for a trip to Jamaica. Was sceptical about diving mask with corrective lenses. Owner was very helpful about what type of lenses would be best for my diving experience and the type of mask. Didnt try to sell me on the most expensive just what was needed for my use. Had a time constraint on order and they worked very diligently to deliver on time even shipped to different address along my travel route by expressing overnight. I was so impressed with the customer service and ability to custom make my RX mask with prisms. I was able to see so clearly with the mask that they made me. I have a disabilitating issue with my optic nerve and I see double without glasses. Josh and his crew did such an amazing job that I was able to see so clearly underwater. I needed an updated prescription on an older dive mask, somewhat complicated as Ive had Lasik and one eye is set for near vision and one for distance vision. Josh was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, devising a system with new prescription lenses for the upper 4/5 and plain lenses to allow for reading in the bottom 1/5-- it works great. He ended up needing to order in plain lenses for the old mask, which he did at no additional cost over the original estimate. Excellent customer service and solid work all around-- highly recommended.

This is one of the best shops I have ever dealt with, in any category. Josh is truly great, knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. I delayed too long before a snorkeling holiday in Indonesia, realizing only a few days before departing that I was going to have trouble seeing much of anything due to newly developed strabismus (double vision), which is corrected by means of lenses that include a prism, not a standard correction. I discovered See the Sea on the web and called late on a Monday in the off-chance that I could get a mask by Friday with my exact prescription. To my great surprise, Josh told me that they could take care of me. After many phone calls, text messages, and photos of me so that Josh could choose a mask of proper size, I, indeed, received my mask Friday afternoon in Los Angeles. I cannot recommend Josh and his team highly enough. If you need a snorkel or dive mask with a prescription to correct problems with your vision, this is absolutely the place to go, wherever you are in the country (and maybe outside the country).

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This company went above and beyond to make sure that I received a rx snorkel mask for my daughter in time for a charter trip to the BVI. They went so far as to Fed Ex to St. Thomas, then hired a courier to get from airport to ferry dock, it was then transported via ferry employee to St. John and was waiting pickup at ferry dock at exactly the time they said it would be. It is no small thing that is my first and only google review ever! I called with a rush custom order for customized goggles and a mask on Jan. 22, for delivery no later than Jan 30th. Not only did I get incredible customer service (Josh J.! is awesome), both products arrived early on Jan 25th, everything fit and worked perfectly. Full disclosure, It was not cheap but my 14 yr. old son would not be able to see without customized lenses so we needed to make the investment. Via my sales rep though, I was able to choose goggles and a mask that well only have to switch out lenses when/if his prescription changes and keep the frames. So a higher upfront cost but a worthwhile investment that should last years. Thanks Josh!. Highly recommend this vendor!
