Great experience at Kays Jewelers at the Galleria location, I got multiple jewelery here including engagement ring and wedding bands. Had the best experience everytime! When I went to shop for wedding bands along with my fiance, the sale lady (whose name I have forgotten) was very patient, gave us multiple options, and when we couldnt quite decide she said sleep on it, and then come back based on how you feel (unlike the sales people in other stores who were very pushy, trying to get us to make the quick purchase). Of course, we came back and purchaed the bands here 2 weeks later. Also the store manage, Stephen T, goes the extra mile to make sure my fiance and I were fully satisfied with our purchases!

They are awesome. Their collection had a variety of designs and materials, also the customer service was excellent. I visited them on May 1st 2021 and Taylor, who helped me shop listened to all my questions and concerns carefully and gave suggestions and advice accordingly. It was my first time buying jewelry from them, and thanks to her it turned out so comfortable and trusting.

Salma and Mike were absolutely amazing! After having a terrible experience with my online order they were ready to help. Before I went to the store I called to make sure they were open and Salma was more than happy to help me exchange my purchase. When I arrived the store was busy but she still acknowledged me and assured me she would get to me. I appreciated that so much because she cared. Then she helped me quickly with my purchase she listened and cared about my needs and budget. She was amazing! Mike went above and beyond and walked me out to the parking garage (that was on the other side of the mall) and waited until I got into my car since the mall was closed. They completely exceeded my experience and expectations. Thank you both again! I will definitely be back and I promise to park at the red parking garage :)

Terrible experience with Salma. She did not know how to send a ring back to the manufacturer for repair. I called the manufacturer while in the store to help her. She struggled to print a proper mailing label, even misspelling the manufacturer’s address. After a few minutes Salma just gave up and went off to fix a watch for another customer. I waited 20 minutes then asked her if she was going to finish helping me. She then comes over and asks me, “what do you want now?”. Her manager Mike stepped in, took over and finished up with me, stating that he would deal with her. The whole thing took over 45 minutes. Salma is rude and incompetent and should not work in customer service with that attitude.

Thieves!You buy a wedding band set, with their insurance policy, bring it in for a cleaning and when you get your ring back the diamond is now a piece of glass. This has happened to more than one couple. Lousy management allows this to happen, hire an in store jeweler like you used to.Kay Jewelers had gone downhill. Shop elsewhere!

Great customer service by Ruby! I purchased a necklace for my girlfriend at this location. She had it less than a month and the clasp stopped closing on it. I took it into the store expecting a hassle due to past experiences with jewelry stores. I had no problems. Ruby switched out the necklace no questions asked. Great experience. Salesperson was very rude. Are you kidding me? If I am spending $3,000 on earrings, you should definitely not treat me like a criminal/peasant. I did not appreciate the disrespectful attitude. I had a an expensive necklace that my husband purchased for me for a holiday and one day the necklace broke so I took it in and that was an experience of itself they are so unorganized they have no idea what’s going on. I was waiting for the woman to Talk to the jeweler to explain the situation, all of the employees were huddled up and just laughing around seeing that I was upset and I felt like they could all just care less.They sent the necklace off to be repaired and to make the link the original length since it was stretched. After waiting a little over a week I came in to pick up the item again with them being so unorganized It took them forever to find where they placed my necklace. When they pulled the necklace out it was not repaired to the original length. So they said they would send it back to their jeweler to get it repaired and I would have to wait another week And I was planning on wearing this item for an event but I guess that was not going to happen.I came back a week and a half later to pick up my necklace yet again. Not even being a week I was wearing my necklace and the spot where it was broken I just fell apart; it’s not even repaired.SO UNSATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

My boyfriend and I went here almost 3 weeks ago and he purchased a ring. He applied for the Kays card and was approved and used the benefits to purchase the ring. We were told that because he had such good credit and since the ring wasnt very expensive, the monthly payments would be $40 every month for 2 years and we were thinking thats wonderful very affordable. We checked our account today and we were told that our monthly payments would be $90 instead of $40! Big price difference and we were both upset to know that we were told false information about the monthly pricing. We honestly wouldnt have considered getting one if we had known because of our financial situation.

We came to get links taken off of a watch we purchased at Kay Jewelers. Apparently only 1 employee in the whole store knows how to take links off. This store is so unorganized and they keep their customers waiting for 30+ minutes. Nobody knows anything and the employees are just sitting on their phones clueless. We even left and came back 2 hours later and the same thing happened again. We’ll never buy from Kay again.

First of all NEDRA, literally tried to rip me off when I bought my wedding band. When I asked to buy the ring she LEASED it to me, which means you basically end up paying over double what the item is actually worth. She completely failed to walk me through the process and explain things to me. If you go here to buy something DO NOT work with Nedra or you may risk being ripped off. Thank you to whoever fixed the problem we had and whatnot, we would’ve been swindled out of an extra $2,500.

I purchased a wedding and engagement ring for my wife. The ring is beautiful, and she loves it. The diamonds keep falling out, in less than a year three separate diamonds have fallen out. Additionally we requested to have both of our names engraved with the date of our wedding.The engraving was a fiasco, There was a charge of $50 to engrave. When we originally recommend the font, when it was finished two weeks later. we picked up the ring and the font was illegible (manager agreed). We had to send it back and then wait another two weeks for the engraving to return. It was illegible, but microscopic.Since then there have been four separate occurrences when a diamond has fallen out. And each time they have to be replaced it take 2-3 weeks for the repair.To sum it up:- Resize the ring - 2 weeks- repair diamond falling out of setting - 2 weeks to repair- Join engagement ring to enhancer wedding ring - 2 weeks- repair diamond falling out of setting - 2 weeks to repair- Ring is white Gold, and was turning yellow - Rhodium plating (received and now the engraving was gone) & repair diamond falling out of setting - 2 weeks to repair- repair diamond falling out of setting - 2 weeks to repairOverall my wife and I have been married for 6 months. She told me that she has been with out her wedding ring more that she has been wearing it due to the excessive amount of repairs.The only positive things is that I paid for a lifetime warranty.My recommendation, purchase your jewelry elsewhere, where the diamonds stay in their setting and where they have onsite repair.

Worst experience. I dont really write reviews but I will make an exception today. I was shopping around for engagement rings and sales associate said let me get you a diamond expert. Im thinking cool, but the lady who was assigned to me did not seem to know anything about the different cuts of a diamond, the shapes, or just have even the general knowledge I was looking for. Also when I saw a ring that I was somewhat interested in, the lady insisted on forcing the ring on me when I was not completely sold on it. She even has the nerve to say come on, I only have two weeks left and I get paid commission so I really need the sale. Finally she tries to grab the manager to try and persuade me, who was also no better than her. Would not recommend anyone

The initial purchasing process was incredibly rushed. When my fiancé went to get my ring from the same place, it arrived scratched (it was supposed to be “unscratchable”) she returned it and they delivered another, scratched again. They suggested to her that “he might not notice it”. The third one was fine. I just realized that there was the main stone left from the initial ring (I had one custom made) so I called them to ask what to do with this large diamond, and they recommended that I take it to a pawn shop, as they don’t buy things back. It’s amazing that an institution of this size could operate at this level, with this type of service. I would not recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I decided to upgrade our wedding bands and I got my wedding band in 2 weeks from sizing but my wife has been waiting for hers for almost 2 months and I call for an update on the status and cant get no answer to where or when the ring is going to get here so we paid for her ring to not get it. The Customer service is mostly ok when it comes to general questions. BUT one major thing to look-out for. DO NOT accept when they try to offer you their rewards card. There is no such thing. All you are doing is signing up for a Kay Credit Card. They were VERY deceptive about this. About a week after I signed up for the rewards Card I received a credit card in the mail. I have canceled the card, but there is no excuse for these deceptive tactics!

Their computer system is from the 90’s. They don’t know how to use the internet outside of placing an order. Their printer always seems to be down. Half of their employees don’t speak English and smile at you when you ask a question. Wouldn’t recommend this place to an enemy.

I ended up going to Robbins brothers because their staff was rude. I applied for financing before I went to Kays and I ended up getting a bunch of junk emails for health insurance, knives, coupons, etc... Now Im getting emails every two minutes. They sell your information, do not apply for financing at Kays, my inbox has gotten over 50 emails since I gave them my email address today, Im not even exaggerating, Ive been deleting and unsubscribing all day.
