Such a cute little place!My boys love getting fitted for their dance shoes EVENTHOUGH we know our sizes. They love the experience. Wish they had a slightly bigger boy selection for bags and accessories, but this is a reality i have come to accept as a dance mom.

We drove a long way to purchase quality tights for my 13-year-old granddaughter to wear under skirts. It was obvious the woman who waited on us didnt want to help us. She repeatedly made sure we knew there was no return, she embarrassed my granddaughter by asking her her weight instead of helping her find her size on the back of the package. I wouldve thought a small store like this would treat customers with more dignity and respect. Im angry and sorry my granddaughter had to experience humiliation when all she wanted was tights so she could demurely wear current fashions. Ill never go into this shop again.

Well organized and clean place, lots of dance stuff, dance shoes, ballet shoes, Tutus, ballerina outfits etc. Reasonably priced, friendly staff.

Be aware that you cant return certain items. This information would be nice to share prior to a purchase. Especially when the item is for my daughter and she was not there to try the item on. Let your customers know.

I called today to check on availability on a shoe style, and the lady immediately asking me if I will be purchasing, my intentions are to. Immediately she talking about trying them on and if I buy them online, it’s not right. If I try them on I will be charged for size fitting, she was going on and on. Sorry you lost a sale real quick.

I was in this store recently and my daughter was fitted for pointe shoes. We were pleasantly surprised to be fitted by their new fitter Katya. She was extremely knowledgeable and no nonsense. My daughter takes at Houston Ballet and she came recommended by others.My daughter has struggled with her shoes for years now. Katya talked with her and took the time to help her be more confident in herself. She knew what to look for and preferences which helps so much.I disagree with one of the other reviewers. When I called I didn’t experience what she claims. You can’t please everyone all the time and what someone considers “rude” is subjective.

Great place, a little pricey but great.. The lady that helped us with great and very knowledgeable she said shes a dancer as well and it shows. It is nice when you go to buy something that you are not familiar with but the employees know what you are looking for and can really help you and break it down for you. The older white lady that came in was rather rude, I would take her as the owner by how she acted. I wouldnt want her to wait on us bc of how she acted and spoke. Im so glad we were finishing up when she came in.

Came all the way from the Galleria area to buy dance shoes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even though they were very busy fitting other customers, they took their time and gave each client their whole attention without rushing or pushing for other shoe options, no pressure here. Extremely happy with the experience my twins had here. If I ever need any dance accessories, I know where to go. I loved it here!

I brought my son in for a fitting. We drove from Louisiana for a dance convention and they were so accommodating. They were fun loving and so patient with us. We had a blast with these ladies. I would recommend driving from Louisiana to meet with these ladies. We will be back and hopefully my sons foot will be smaller! (inside joke) Thank you ladies for the wonderful experience!

I drove 25 minutes here instead of the dance store near my house because the staff here isn’t rude, pushy, or judgmental. A lot of times you’ll go into a dance store and their staff will judge you if you look like you aren’t going to spend money or if you don’t know what Dancewear you need... not this place! I love that they offer seasonal discounts on Leos.

We’ve been in twice and received exceptional service.We’ll be back again for future dance needs.

I am a long time patron of Dance Trends. I grew up dancing in Houston and always came to Dance Trends for all my needs. We no longer live close by and drive out jut for DT. I bring my dancer here now! Lisa runs a great store and keeps on good staff who truly care to help you find what you need!

Got what I wanted for a fair price but the staff is snobby. I realize I am not your typical dancer at my age but you have no idea my ability, or my bank account- don’t judge me. I won’t be back.

Great dance store. Almost everything you need is there. It’s bigger than it looks on the outside, but it’s still a little cluttered. The person helping me fit in my pointe shoes was very helpful and kind, but the person speaking on the phone was rude and impatient. Overall, it’s a pretty good store, even if some of the things are a little overpriced.

I come all the way from Sugar Land to Dance Trends for all of our dance shoes, especially for our pointe shoes. Ms V is so knowledgeable and patient with my daughter and always tries to find her the right pointe shoes for her foot type, flexibility, width and dance experience. I wouldnt go anywhere else for our dance shoes.

I absolutely love this store! I have been coming here for almost a year and I can honestly say that this is my favorite dance store. The staff is always really nice to me and my parents and super helpful. The store is always very organized and looks very nice.

Buyer beware, there is a NO RETURN POLICY. I went in store to exchange a pair of grossly overpriced mens jazz shoes for a smaller size. I was charged $1 (+ tax) more for the EXACT SAME SHOE. It made absolutely no sense at all. These type of silly transactions deter me from patronizing small business retailers.

My 7 year old dancers favorite dance store in the Houston area. Weve been to 5 and this one is her all time favorite. Love the customer service and the selection. We drive over an hour to go to Dance Trends.

Staff was extremely helpful in getting my daughter the correct shoe size and leotard size and then put in the online order for her RAD required kit.

The people are very nice. The star off is because its hit or miss with the pointe shoe fitters. We have had some good and some bad fittings. Its an expensive mistake when a student is fit improperly.

Horrible customer service. They charge a fee to try shoes on (I think $10 for tap shoes). I went in today hoping to replace an old pair of tap shoes if I could find new ones that were comfortable and fit well. Without the fee, they had a >50% chance of me making an $80 shoe purchase. With the fee, they guaranteed that I wouldnt be making any purchase today or ever returning. Presumably most of their business comes from parents buying items for their children, and maybe their business model works in that situation. For an adult making a purchase for themselves, great customer service is what motivates people to shop local and this store falls flat on its face.

They are great about keeping what my prima ballerina needs in stock. They are always helpful. I just wish they were closer to Sugar Land.

They are very good at what they do and spend the time needed with each customer. You have to wait for service, as they take time with the dancers before you. Some people have no patience, those people should head to the Foot Locker.
