I had a consultation with Samantha to review my hair issues. She was not only up-beat and informative, but warm and understanding. She explained how and why Im having the problems that I have with my hair, while also educating me on how hair works and the life cycle of it. I appreciated the time she took with me and the other shoppers who had questions. It was truly refreshing to see someone passionate about their product and line of work. The ambiance of the store was relaxing and I felt the anxiety roll off me as I entered. I know that my hair is in very capable hands, and I welcome the day I need to come back in. I placed an order online for in-store pickup. I received a phone call from Morgaine that my items were ready, however, they offered shipping from the store. It worked out greatly. Morgaine was very personable, friendly and took the time to explain each product I was buying and even offered samples. I didn’t feel rushed or pushed to buy anything else. I had a few questions and she was very patient and answered them thoroughly. I received my order today and spoke to her 2 days ago. Everything was beautifully packaged and I can’t wait to try my new products. She also put in a sweet birthday/thank you card in with my purchase. Thanks again, Morgaine. Wonderful customer service.

This is just my experience at this particular store. They were helpful at first and then got pushy with the products. After stating I had used a specific lotion for two years and it no longer worked for me (skin type has been changing) they told me to go home and do research because it was a really good product. I didnt deny it was, I simply was saying it not longer worked for me and my needs. When I was leaving, I turned around to ask for directions and caught the sales people making comments. It made for an uncomfortable experience and that was upsetting because I drove over 1.5 hours just to go to this store.

Although its not a welcoming location from the outside, this place had been hiding under my nose my whole life. It is a beautiful store! The staff is not as approachable which makes it uncomfortable to ask more questions. One lady helped me find out the cause to the irritation with my scalp since this visit. Ive since changed all of my hair products.

I used to buy my products here all the time because I work in the Galleria. However, after the receptionist was extremely rude to me on multiple occasions, I can no longer recommend this store. Stay away at all costs (unless you enjoy poor customer service).

Im very pleased that theres an Aveda nearby I live! So I recently went there for a free mini spa facial (Thanks to my Aveda privilege rewards membership). Well, it was for mother and she enjoyed the facial more than the last time at a country club spa. The employee was indeed friendly, polite and very informative within the products they sell. Dee performed the mini facial for my mother and she loved it! Thanks so much Dee!Im the type of customer who shops for products that supports for animal cruelty, community free-trade, organic or vegan. So Aveda, is one my stores I shop; others such as The Body Shop and Lush. The store itself is small but its beautiful! Its magnificent to be redundant! Its very cozy because its theme colors are more toward warm colors such as brown or mahogany. Plus while youre shopping or having a spa appointment they serve freshly made tea.Products I recommend (Used):Rosemary Mint shampoo and conditioner! Im in love with the smell and it feels so refreshing after you wash your hair and condition it. I usually shower in cold water, so thats even more refreshing since it does have this invigorating and tingling sensation which makes you feel awake and fresh. Its aroma scent is similar to the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo and it smells delightful!The Beautifying collection, the smell is a popular scent and loved by customers. This line comes in a body/facial oil, mist, cream: Body or regular or a cleansing oil creme. The aroma scent is not too overpowering, it has organic rosemary, lavender, bergamot and some flower extract. You can definitely smell the bergamot from a couple feet away! The beautifying collection is to have positive uplifting vibe and which as well can relief any negativity or stress. I usually use the oil for a uplifting sensation during finals or while Im studying.The Quina Soy Macadamia, which is a hair repair cream after you washed your hair. I love it because it keeps my hair soft and usually I have a lot of oil within my hair without this product. This product keeps the hair oil control whereas your hair is unbalanced and it helps protecting your hair for weeks.The Thickening Tonic, is just perfect if you need extra texture and thickens your hair. Its made from Amla corn wheat which is why Im in love with their products. Its always made with almost all natural products from vegetables, flowers or herbs.The scenery of this store is indeed cozy as I explained in the beginning. Its very cozy due to their brown mahogany theme colors and their art displays. There are chairs around for others waiting for their family or friends shopping around and also they serve freshly brewed tea while youre either shopping or waiting for spa treatment appointment.
