Smoothie cream blends are flavorful and amazing! Cookies and pound cakes are delicious too.

I’ve gotten two cakes made by them and both times they did a great job and created everything I’ve asked for. Reasonably priced and of course moist and delicious!

This place is a hidden gem!!! Their tasty treats will send your taste buds to Shangri-la. Everything is simply amazing.

I have been buying chocolate sheet cakes with whipped cream icing from Memorial bakery for at least 6 years... our guests are always impressed with how moist the cake is and how delicious the icing is- because its not too sweet. The website recommended 1/4 size cake for the size of our party... but i knew i need to get a 1/2 size sheet cake. Everyone wanted to take leftover cake home with them! Rule of thumb... get the roses decorations made with whipped cream and the bigger the cake the better! (Im not going to lie... Ive even thrown tea parties for my daughter just to buy small chocolate cakes with whipped cream icing!)

My parents have been loyal customers of Memorial Bakery since they were at their old location. All my birthday cakes as a child came from them, so when it came time for my wedding cake of course we did a tasting here. I will say they don’t have as many fancy flavor combinations, but their white cake with lemon curd is so amazing we didn’t miss it! We saved a ton by ordering a small 2 tier cake for us to cut with a sheet cake in the back to be served to our guests. We also ordered 3 dozen cupcakes: Reese’s, cookies and cream, and strawberry. Those were so good in hindsight we should have ordered more for our guests because they were gone in an instant! If you want to support local, save some costs, and get a delicious cake, be sure to check them out!

I came inside this bakery for the first time to buy my toddler a cookie and the customer service was terrible.There was two other people in front of me, one was already checking out and the other one rudely walked in front of us to order. I was looking at the selection and the second person who was in front of me was now checking out there was about 3 people who work there chatting away with the customer there was no one else in the store but me and I was still waiting to be attended.A girl finally comes over and just asks me what I was going to get she was very dry and I choose a few cookies and she just seemed bothered.As she checked me out I even left a tip and told her thank you and she did not bother to say anything back.The customer service was as good as the cookies,I would rather go to Tiffs Treats or anywhere else for some cookies. I would not recommend nor go back to this bakery.Be aware if you don’t look a certain way you will not be treated accordingly.

This is place is great! Ordered dozen cupcakes and dozen cookies. The staff was super helpful and friendly, had no clue what to put on the cookies, so they happily offered color and design ideas. The cupcakes were a hit along with the cookies . Happily returning!

Horrible customer service. Ordered two weeks in advance. I needed to make a small change to an order and left a voicemail that was never returned. Two days before our party I heard back and they were unwilling to make the change the color of icing. They were incredibly rude and demeaning. Not good to work with - I won’t go back. Too many great places in Houston with nice staff willing to work with you to make things right.

Wow what a cake. When my 4 year old asked for an Anglerfish on his cake I was a little worried how it might turn out... as you can see, it is awesome! The rest of the cake was delicious as well :-)

Weve gone to Memorial Bakery twice now for cakes and been very happy with the results each time. They also have a pretty good selection of frosted cookies, cupcakes, and baked goods available.

Came in to order baby shower extras and he was so patient and helped me with great suggestions. If you want a treat or for a special occasion, this is the place to go. First time trying this bakery and I’m so impressed. Picked up my daughters 18th birthday cake and it was super yummy! I got the chocolate cake with chocolate icing, it was very moist and icing was amazing. Love that I have found this great bakery and it’s not super expensive.

I gave them a picture and an idea of how I wanted my cake and it didn’t come out of nowhere near close to the picture that I gave them. The cake was too small that they gave me I asked for a 10 inch cake and they made a 6 inch cake. Also, they did not infuse the cake with the flavor that I asked them to. They had one job and couldn’t do that right.

I purchased a cake and specifically asked for a custard filling. I ended up with a white cake and buttercream icing. I made my request very clear and did not receive the cake that I paid for.

Definitely will have to come back and try something else. Had there Mochaccino Mousse Cake for the Houston Chocolate Hero’s and it wasn’t my favorite. The cake had a chocolate chiffon on the bottom, chocolate mousse on top, and a coffee gelatin filling in the middle. The chocolate mousse and chiffon was good but the coffee gelatin that was in the middle wasnt very palatable. There was hardy any coffee flavor to the gelatin. But there is a level craftsmanship you do have to appreciate

We discovered Memorial Bakery while shopping next door. When I mentioned my upcoming wedding, Bowen told me they could handle it for less than a third of every other quote I had received. I was skeptical, but then I tried the cake. The only disagreement my husband and I had during wedding planning was what delicious cake flavor to have at our wedding. We ended up having three different cakes because we couldn’t agree on just one. Days before the wedding, I got a personal phone call from the owner of Memorial Bakery making sure I was content with everything that was ordered. The cake arrived on time and was set up beautifully. I am still receiving praise of the cakes we chose. They created a custom running bib cake for my marathon running husband and he was thrilled with it. We ate cake for breakfast for two days after the wedding because it was so delicious.

This is a great place! I love it. I go there to relax and have a cappuccino and sometimes a pastry. It is quiet and comfortable, and the owners and employees are really nice.

So many pastry options. From cake pops, cakes, kolaches, cookies, etc... it’s all delicious.

My fiance and I stopped here for a quick bite. The pastries were homemade and the coffee was good. The danish was too sweet for me but I appreciate the turkey option as I dont eat pork👍👌

This place is awesome. I ordered a birthday cake for my fiancé and the staff was so kind and informative. When I picked up the cake I had a different vision for the cake and they didnt give up until it was they way I wanted!! I will be coming back for sure!! Recommend this place hands down

They have board games, couches, wifi, and NO TVS!!! The staff is always very attentive, never mopey and have been really kind to me. Prices are fair, and fare is yummy :) Highly recommended.Were having them provide our wedding cake since we like them so much, and the person we met with (Rich) was very helpful and patient. There was no charge for a cake testing, and the price for what were getting is less expensive than a similar sized cake at HEB, plus a lot better in my humble epicurean opinion.

Met the owner at my husbands high school reunion. He provided cookies as part of the dessert. Beautifully decorated with the high school logo, super tasty, and such a nice guy. Totally the small business owner you want to do business with and support!

Horrible customer service. Walked in with young woman on phone who made no effort to even acknowledge me, several people walking in and out from back who never acknowledged me, finally someone comes out from back, no apology for the wait, no good morning, no smiles. I got a dozen cupcakes and when I asked how many I had so far and I didnt hear her and she had to repeat herself, she smirked and rudely laughed. Will take my business somewhere where they act like they want your business and dont act like you are a bother and an inconvenience!

Just went to go pick up some goodies and I have been wanting to go for a while and decided to go today. Well we get there and horrible costumer service from this younger girl that worked there had a bad attitude with us after helping other people who she wasn’t having an attitude with but for some reason was rude with my family and I. Wish I could give them zero stars.

Horrible experience. The cake ordering process is a disaster. I ordered a three layer cake and when I picked it up, the cake only had two layers. I sent in a photo showing exactly what I was looking for and I received no reply and yet the wrong order. This is probably my final visit to bakery.
