Yeah! I’m really happy I did my research and I stumbled across this place! Tristan was super helpful and honest about all my options. He didn’t force me on anything I didn’t feel comfortable with. He also answered all the questions I had. Long story short, I got a really great deal with a new laptop and everything I needed for it! I’ll be reposting within 6 months to give more details with how the laptop is working, but customer service was one the best :)

This is playing into the fascistic ideologies and movements that are being propagated by the corrupt segments of our society which will further plunge our world into darkness akin to that of World War II.My advice to Experimac:Go open a store in NYC and stay there.Real Texans who value personal freedom, privacy, and logic should not bring business to this store.

I read the reviews and found it unlikely that it could be this good. It was better. In and out the same day even carried my iMac to the car. These guys are the real deal.

I went in to Eperimax with 2 computers to diagnose and I was met by the Sales Manager, Tristan. He offered me exceptional help and diagnosed my computers on the spot. Not only was he clear and concise, he was honest and didnt try to sell me on another quick easy fix. I was truly impressed by my whole experience with Experimax and plan to buy my next MacBook very shortly from there as they have great prices and Tristan produced a lot of good positive energy!

Called them and asked about a repair I needed. Told me to come in. As I entered the store the young person asked me if Ive had a COVID-19 vaccine shot. I told him it was none of his business. He informed me theyre not working with people that arent vaccinated and told me to leave. Mind you nobody mentioned this on the phone when they told me to come in. I went to the Apple store in the mall and got the parts ordered - cheaper. Wont work with firms that have these stupid rules. Everyone I told about this believes you are a male Karen.

Fixed what Apple could not fix. Replace battery on a 1st Gen. iPad 12.9”. Cautioned about Apple keyboard may not work after battery replacement.But they were successful. Yea. Asked about buying a Granddaughter a MacBook and Tristan explained several important items to consider. Wow they know their Macs.

This place is great. I went there the first time in August 2017. My MacBook Pro had quit working and I was freaking out. I went first to the Apple store in Memorial city Mall and they told me that there was water inside the laptop, it was ruined and I would have to buy a new one.Then I went across the Katy freeway to experimac. The owner was amazing. First, they gave me a quote on how much they thought it would cost. I think it was around $200 or so. After just one day I went back to pick it up and it cost even less than their estimate. All they had to do was change the mouse pad and the keyboard and it was as good as new. And the owner confirmed to me that there was no water at all inside my MacBook and that it was a really good machine that had a lot of memory on it.A little more than a year ago I purchased a refurbished iPhone from the same place. Over the weekend my iPhone wasn’t responding to the touch commands. I took it back to the experimac on Katy freeway. The guarantee was still good and they fixed it in less than an hour for free!You’ll never have to go to an Apple store again where they just rip you off!

Ive been here twice and both times it has been awesome. The first time they completely replaced and upgraded my old 2012 MacBooks hard drive while recovering all my data, and the second time they fixed my iPhone 6 in a matter of minutes. I want to keep my older gear running for as long as possible, and you can bet Ill be coming here any time I need anything!

I highly recommend Experimax West Houston! My Macbook battery has been dead for months, as I have been waiting for the Apple store to reopen during Covid. My laptop only worked when plugged into an outlet. A quick google search lead me to this store. Very convenient location, and my computer was ready for pick up in an hour. I feel silly that I waited so long, and will be a return customer for any iPhone, iPad or Macbook repairs.

These guys are great and they work fast. My MacBook Pro 2013 battery was on its last leg and not only did they have the battery to replace it (I spoke to 3 other repair places who said they needed to order the battery), but these guys only took a few hours to swap it out. With this model it’s not as easy as just taking out the battery and putting a new one in. They had to disassemble the entire MacBook.They also cleaned up my MacBook so when I got it back it looked almost new!I’m definitely coming to them for all of my Apple needs

I have had Experimax help me with three issues in the past month. Replaced battery in MacBook Pro and replaced battery in Ipad Air2. I frankly enjoyed the experience so much that I ended up replacing the keyboard on my MacBook as well just for the hell of it! LOL. True Story. These Guys are great! They are fast, courteous, extremely knowledgeable. Tristan was outstanding to work with. The communications all along the process was super. Tristan was very helpful when I called to inquire about repairing a Macbook. I briefly described the problems on the phone and he gave me some possible causes of the issue. He suggested that I give Apple a try first stating that Apple may pay for the fix if it is an manufacturer defect instead of convincing me to get the computer repaired at the shop. I had to get my Macbook Pro hard drive replaced. After being told on the phone by Apple that no one makes that certain kind of hard drive anymore, I went to an Authorized Apple Service Provider who was going to charge me $40 for a diagnostic, $1200+ for the hard drive, and it was going to take 1 month for it to come in and for them to even look at my Mac. Experimax did a free diagnostic, installed a compatible hard drive for 1/5 of the price, and did it all under an hour. They even threw in a complimentary keyboard cover! I dont normally write reviews, but I was very pleased with my experience here. I would definitely recommend going here for any Mac repairs!

These guys took my brand new awful 2019 mac with a spinning drive and upgraded me to 32 GB Ram and a SSD. This mac runs like a dream. These guys are great, especially since they got me in and out in several hours on a iMac upgrade. Most places will keep your computer for 3-4 days and charge you a rush fee if you want it done in as little as 2 days. Fair prices, expert technicians and a pleasure to do business with!

Avoided getting oversold at the Apple store and picked up a super cool 2015 iMac. Saved a lot of money and received personalized service. This place is amazing. They repaired my 2011 MacBook Pro, (needed a new video card) got it running, diagnosed any future issues like needing a new battery, all within a few hours. All at a good price. If you have an older Mac that needs a little love, it’s the place to go.

I brought a ipad and a iPhone to this location to repair broken screens on separate occasions. The screens were both repaired correctly. However, both devices batteries failed to hold a charge for more than a hour. After the first repair I just thought maybe it was the ipad but when the same problem occurred for the second time I spoke with the owner. His suggestion was new batteries. I never had any issues with the batteries before they were in their possession. I would not take any device to this company again.To respond to the owner’s response:At the time of service my devices were not old enough to need batteries. As stated above they both worked perfectly. At the time the issue occurred your price for a replacement was costly.

Great service. I was a walk-in and needed a replacement battery. Not only did they have it in stock, they turned it around within 2 hours and tightened the screen hinge that was getting loose on the house. The owner is very personable and the customer service left nothing to be desired. Plus, they are dog friendly and they have an adorable shop dog you can love on while you wait!

Bought my computer in June 2020, by February 2021 I was experiencing problems. We thought it was the battery so they replaced my battery twice before deciding it must be a software issue. When they were unable to fix it, they offered to replace it with a different computer and a new 1-year warranty! Thanks Tristan!

I had two different guys help me out and they both were very helpful. I went first went in to order a battery for my laptop and the following time I came in they replaced it for me with another RAM as well. Only waited for about 15min at the most. So far so good with the new repairs. Great knowledge and expertise.

I brought Dave my daughters iphone SE that she dropped in the toilet! He was super understanding and great at explaining how he would dry it out and replace the screen but he could not guarantee it would not corrode. So happy I found this place!My mac battery has been dead for a couple of months now (I could only use it if it was plugged in). I brought it to the Apple Store and a different repair shop but they said they found another issue and couldnt replace just the battery.I couldnt afford to do both repairs so I bought a battery on Amazon with the intention of replacing it myself. However, some of the screws were stripped so I went to Apple to see if they could help me unscrew the bottom. They couldnt, but a quick google search led me to discover Experimac and I wandered in with the same question.Im so glad I did because the owner said they could replace my battery for just $79 using the battery I had brought in, a fraction of the cost I expected! He was super friendly, and my laptop was done in less than an hour. He even replaced the stripped screws free of charge!Highly recommend this place for the service and price!! Only wish that I had found it sooner.

Crooks. I have an older Mac mini that takes the older style power supply. Wasn’t sure if my power supply quit or the Mac mini. So before I ordered a power cable form amazon for it, I wanted to test to make sure the Mac mini wasn’t bad. I called and they said they has a power supply in the back they could see if it worked. They took my Mac mini in the back, for some reason they wouldn’t bring out front to test. Tech came back and said the Mac mini wasn’t powering up. So I thought, oh well, Mac mini is bad, back to the top of the closet for now. Now, of course they tried to sell me another Mac mini while I was there, but didn’t have the money.This was 4-5 months ago. So last week, in a whim, I ordered a Mac mini power supply from EBay for $15. Plugged it in, and guess what?! Mac Mini works perfectly. They can’t be trusted. They just wanted me to spend money with them.Oh and BY THE WAY.... these guys are almost twice as expensive as any other used Apple dealers. STAY AWAY!!!Also the store in the heights told me they would not charge me labor for assisting me with a hard drive swap on the sales floor. Got it fixed and before I could walk out the door they said I owed them $50 labor. I said, I did all the darn work. Not to cause a scene, I paid and got the hell out of there.Also. eBay is 1/2 the price of theses guys.

I had an iPad Air that was handed down to me but needed to fix the broken screen. David was so helpful in getting the screen ordered and repaired quickly so that I could use it with my business square register. I also bought a liquid glass protector for my iPhone which I never knew existed! The team at Experimac applied the screen protector for me and everything looks so smooth.
