The ice cream is yummy. Never been in the cafe but that looks good too. Plenty of parking by the little retail area. Dont go off the roundabout by the farm!! Easy mistake to make!

Halfway point on a charity cycle ride from Blackpool & Anfield and back. Made us feel welcome and Ice Cream was very welcome on return leg of ride. Would definitely visit again next time Im round that way,

We took a trip to Tootsies for ice cream with my son last Saturday afternoon! It was recommended by some friends and it was local to where we were staying. The shop was busy and beating all the tables were filled. There were such a good range of flavours available that we were spoilt for choice!! We could have tried most flavours! Anyway we both opted for a waffle cone. My son chose pannacotta and wild cherry and I had the coffee and walnut. They give you a big scoop and it was more than enough! My son loved it so much that he wanted to come again! So we came on the Sunday (after lunch!) along with other members of our family and he was able to have the Easter egg sundae. He saw it on the way out on Saturday and already decided that would be his next choice at the next visit! Sunday was busy again and we ordered 4 ice creams. My son got his sundae and he picked mint choc chip. It was a really good portion plus you get squirty cream, Ferrero Rocher eggs and chocolate sauce. He loved it! I picked sticky toffee pud this time. All in all, a great little place to go for fresh ice cream and reasonably price! My son wants to return to try the Biscoff pancakes!!

Absolutely amazing shop. If youre driving by and you see the shops open it is worth delaying whatever it is youre doing. If you see a queue, it wont be there for long. Customers move quick.

A great selection of ice cream to choose from and all very reasonably priced.Staff and site are running in a covid secure manor.When you go they operate a one person or one family at a time policy and this works well along with a one way system in and out.As it is now the run up to Easter as of writing this review they have cream egg and mini egg ice-cream available.

We always enjoy our ice creams from Tootsies. We went for a long work in the local area today and were not anticipating going into a shop or anywhere where there were other members of the public. When the walk brought us out at Tootsies, we found it hard to resist getting an ice cream however, we didnt have a mask!Luckily, the lady gave us a disposable mask to use so we were able to treat the boys and make the last stretch of the walk far easier!! Never disappointed with our ice creams!!
Due to the virus there was a strict system in place to ensure safety for everyone. sun was shining when we went so there was a long queue outside. Once we got in the there was plenty of choice on ice creams and variations of cones. I opted for the pear drop flavour and wow it was awesome. Awesome place with friendly staff. Highly recommend this place to anyone who hasn’t tried it

From all day breakfast to coffee, cakes for elevenses or luxury ice cream in the afternoon, its the place to be. Quality all round and Covid is well taken care of.
Went in today for a pancake and just to double check we asked if the eggs were free range, we were apauled to be informed the eggs were from caged hens!! Given the fact that most supermarkets dont even sell caged eggs due to the horrendous wellfare of the hens, we were shocked to find theyve managed to get them.Supporting tootsies is supporting animal cruelty.

Amazing ice-cream. I have been come to this place for around 10 years now, they always have a wonderful selection of ice-cream made on site. They also sell food and coffee etc. You can sit inside and outside, the staff are always friendly and helpful, the inside is quite small but they have always accommodated my wife in her wheelchair. Well worth a visit.

It was a sunny day yesterday, so we decided to treat the kids. First impression, the place is tiny. Ive already gone past it several times and I wasnt surprised about it. But with the current situation with Covid, its a bit daunting. My husband decided to go as its only permitted 1 person per family. While waiting for his turn in the queue this oldish woman with grand kids said something to him about getting out of the way as she wants to get out. As she didnt notice its the same entrance and exit route only!! Giving a nasty snobby remarks to him. Well, my husband didnt minced his words. Forgetting her manners probably is out of the window these days due to Covid!!! The last straw was when it was his turn to be served, the server said we havent got much flavours left! So my husband asked, what flavours have youve got left? Then saying what flavours you want? We have chocolatey stuff!! What are those!!!! This time, he had enough. If this ice cream store doesnt know what flavours of ice cream is left and determining only chocolatey stuff, well thats not good enough!!! The impression that he got was they dont know what they are selling.The store needs to open an exit route as being a tiny store also inhibits bacteria and viruses esp Covid. Also, some people needs to grow manners as well.A bad experience overall. Not going back there again. If I can give zero marks I will but sadly it cant give that as I wouldnt be able to post this comments.We just decided to go back and had a McFlurry McDonalds, cheaper, happy kids and much better service. Drive thru 😉

Lovely ice cream. Not much seating though. Seating right next to the entrance not comfortable and in the way of people coming in and at the counter. Definitely need to rethink the layout if the shop. The ice-cream counter takes up half the shop. It could be on two levels so to take up less floor space. Just a thought.

Great little coffee shop/tea room for a late breakfast (opens at 10am) cooked to order & light lunches. Every flavour of ice cream I could want & it would take me 6 weeks of daily visits to get through them all!

Have been going to Tootsies for years when Karen used to run it . Always excellent but last few times been really disappointed . Went today with my daughter and grandchildren because my granddaughter is dairy free and likes the ice cream but none today so a sad little girl . My potato was bad inside and they did refund me but when we arrived it was freezing cold which you dont expect in a cafe the girl said shed put the heater on but it was a very cold day today do should have been on anyway . The foreign woman who now seems to be in charge is so miserable and the last time I went I asked for my cheese to be melted on my potato and she snatched it off me and said I should have asked when I ordered . Im quite sad this lovely little cafe which was one of my late mums favourite little places has changed so much . The ice cream is still good though

Great choice of delicious ice creams which the grandchildren loved whilst I had a scone with jam and cream. Others were enjoying a wide range of food from crepes to an all day breakfast which all looked great.

Well where do I start went in for an icecream staff just ignored me standing there for about 5 minutes. Finally got served but the girl was so slow and didnt seem to know what she was doing. Completely got my order wrong and tried to charge me more than I had ordered, she couldnt even add up my total, another lady had to come over and do it for her. Absolutely appalled used to love coming here but now the staff are letting the place down big time.

A magical array of ice creams .. my eyes nearly fell.out of their sockets! We had lunch .. it was nice .. lovely menu choices .. could do with better ventilation though in truth .
Very nice ice cream, plenty of choice of flavours. Location lets it down a little being next to a very busy road and the service can be very slow with 2 tills - appears to be 1 for takeaway and 1 for sitting in although take away customers can jump the take away queue by ordering from sit in queue and getting priority....
