Cotton shirts are great quality, good fit. The blended fabric ones are OK but not great
I visited Hamilton Shirts while vacationing in Korea. I dont speak Korean, and can confirm thats not a problem. The assistants were very patient and spoke English well.They have two locations almost right next to each other, but I managed to find the smaller one. This was fine, as they still had an amazing selection of winter cottons (think flannel, chambray, etc...), polyester/cotton blends, and 100% cotton at high thread counts (including Oxford and broadcloth). They also had wool and wool blend samples for pants. I might have seen over 700 swatches of fabric!The assistants will measure you to create a work order which is shipped to the factory your order is made. This is your chance to express your preferences regarding fit, as well as the finishing details of your shirts and/or pants. The house cut trends classic, so be sure to speak up.If you are accustomed to American pricing for made to measure clothes, you will be pleasantly surprised. It only costs about $50 bucks to ship it back to the US. My five-piece order only took 8 days to make, and 8 days to ship, which is nothing short of phenomenal!The construction of the clothes is actually really nice, and everything fits well. The pants only need minor alterations, and Hamilton thoughtfully left extra fabric to work with in the waist seam.Hamilton Shirts is a great value! Highly recommend!
I would like to give a 3 due to previous service however they are getting better at it. It is my 3rd time ordering from here.
So disappointed in the quality and fit of 2 shirts I purchased less than a month ago. Even though I was assured that they would fit perfectly, the fit was terrible. They also did not include pockets for collar stays like I requested. I ran out of time for alterations.I would never purchase from them again.Ive had custom clothes made in Shanghai, HK, Singapore. Never had these types of problems. I would not ever go back.
Absolutely terrible. Came here with my own sample shirt and she also measured me but the shirt still came out 2 size bigger. The arm was easily more than 3 inches oversized the shirt was also majorly oversized. They basically said there’s nothing they can do. Pretty disappointed all in all.
Absolutely a terrible place.Ive been having my shirts made for the past 3 decades so I know how custom-made shirts should fit. Not that I am picky - but there is a reason why people get shirts custom-made as opposed to buying it ready-made ... we all want the shirts to fit well ... to our liking ... even if we dont spend much money. This place (I visited the one in Itaewon part of Seoul - although they have different locations around Seoul) has been around for many years. After having my shirts made at other stores (like at Houston - located a few stores away from Hamilton), I decided to try it out. It wasnt because I had problems with Houston (in fact, I really like Houston and have been a regular customer there for years), but rather I wanted to see if I could expand my list of shirt makers.At this Itaewon location, I was met by a very condescending woman manager (I just want the readers know that it was a middle-aged woman manager so the readers can recognize this person) who told me what I wanted instead of listening to what I wanted - although I tried several times to tell her how I like my shirts or want my shirts to look - each time, she cut me off. My wife thought that we should just leave but, in the end, I ordered 3 shirts ... against her better judgment.The result: I had to go back 3 times because each time, they messed up. The shirts are still messed up! My shirts were at least 2 sizes larger (although the manager measured me), and then the fabric on the collar was wrong (all crumpled up that could not be ironed out - which the manager acknowledged was a facing problem - I think facing is a professional term of sort), and then my cuffs were made wrong so that cuff-opening faced down instead of out to the side (so when I put on my cuff links and stretch out my arms slightly, both the cufflinks and the cuff openings face directly down to the ground). They said they would fix these problems, but each time, they failed ... even though I took time out of my busy schedule to go back to the store 3 times. You would think a shirtmaker would know how to make shirts. As I said before, the shirts are still not right!!! Urgh!!!The worst of all this was the attitude of the manager at the Itaewon Hamilton store - she kept on asking me if my shirts were uncomfortable as if this was my problem. - although the defects are quite visible to everyone. It has nothing to do with my comfort or discomfort - simply, the shirts were made wrong, which is Hamiltons fault! These are custom-made shirts and Hamilton is supposed to a specialist in making shirts. I expect custom-made shirts to fit me, I expect the collar to not have crumples that cannot be ironed out (not just wrinkle) and I expect my cuffs to be facing the right way. These 3 shirts were the worst Ive had in my life (and Ive had many in my 60 years). This manager then blamed the shirt making factory they use (by the way, all locations of Hamilton use the same factory.)The attitude of this manager was absolutely horrible - she should be fired! I will never go there again and I urge others to not go there. If at all possible, I would go elsewhere - having custom-made shirts in Korea is a fun and easy experience, but this experience at Hamilton was nothing short of a nightmare!.

When I was a freshman 10 years ago, the shirt I matched at washington in Jamwon-dong was fine. After a long time, I couldnt find Washington and I went to Hamilton. Unlike the memory of giving the size carefully at an affordable price, it is roughly rough with a stiff attitude. I received it in Busan, but the shoulder size and arm size are all wrong. Due to the departure date, which wasnt enough, I was exchanged by courier again and checked with a foreigner. When I ordered, I checked it many times ... At the store, it was wrong at the factory. Bad quality and poor quality ...
