Nice environment just when you working for them as a employee you dont get a fair treatment. I use to work for this company and they were aware I had a child as well some car issues which stated from management that we are family and they would work with me. One day my car just gave up after work. Transmission issues so I dont need to go further as far as cost, repairs and time. When I first started I didnt get to negotiate my salary, the company gave me my paper work ...sorry emailed my paper work W2 included (which bothered me as far as confidentiality goes) and I noticed a salary already there and not to mentioned my name was alrdy esigned!!!! I didnt authorize that. I notified management and even a lady on the sales team who has a great repor and bring in a lot of money with her high end clientele was trying to assist me and even gave me places that I needed to go for assistance!!! She even told the manager what she did and NOT myself, but the woman went to manager and personally asked him could I take off a few days to handle my car situation, keep in mind it was only 2weeks away from Thanksgiving! Due to the fact my bills outweighed my paycheck every time, and me being a single mother ( during the INTERVIEW the store manager stressed the importance of being a parent and how if anytime I had to drop and Go see about my kid by all means ) I couldnt afford a whole transmission. At this time I was on the verge of losing my apt because of financial issues and because I valued my job I spent my saving for rent on a rental car therefore to fulfill my receptionist duties. I cant remember the exact date but it was still in Nov 2016, and the woman who tried to assist me scheduled a appointment for me to receive assistant through a church ministry her mom is strongly involved with. Everyone at Stark knew about my ordeal as well my scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, my appointment took longer than usual (took during my lunch break) and I was unable to return to work. I immediately called Stark management to inform I would not be able to come in but I would the following day. On the last Friday (next working day), I was on my way to work and I was literally pulling and parking . My scheduled work time is 8:30am, I was at the job at 8:20am when I received a phone call from the store manager and was asked not to come in . I even stated to him I was already at work. He said his reason being was because I was unable to come back to work from my appointment. Mind you j brought in proof and documents showing I had the scheduled appointment and like I stated earlier one of the sales rep told the manager what she did herself to help me and my son NOT lose our apt. The manager stated at the time I was NOT fired and because HE told me NOT to come in I would get paid for a full day as well the previous day since the appointment took up the whole day I would get half a day work as well the others days I worked. With that Being said that should have been almost a full paycheck. The manager stated he would investigate and see what to do because he wasnt sure of my dependability which he knew that I had a rental and my rent was taken care of now. I hadnt heard anything from the job until about 2weeks after of me receiving no check which my pay was every week. I called to inquire about my status and the manager had some nerve to say O ...my bad.. We let you go i thought you knew ..Sorry about that hope you and your son will be OK. Like really? So this has been a rough holiday for me and my son.
