This place is horrible. Its really a trap house where drugs are sold and mechanic is does shabby work at best. Be careful you dont get anything stolen from you while youre there. And watch out for raid from hpd. If I could do no star reviews I would.

Ill never need to search for another mechanic again as long as rj audio is around. He has unbelievably great prices for a woman on a budget, he is very detailed and thorough in his work, if you can handlewaiting a couple hours while he works then youll have no problems but keep in qmind he does take a long time because he wants to make sure its done right

I went to this guy for help because my radio was frozen and was heating up i went in the evening so he kept myRadio and told me to come the next day. Ifid and he gad me waiting outside his house for an hour without answering the phone or coming out.After all he told me was he cleaned it and did not fix anything. I thought he was was not going to return my stereo at some point. Dont waste your time go see a real shop instead

Did an amazing job installing my speakers for me, and also wired everything beautifully. Ill be returning here for more work on my car as it needs it for sure. Hes also super friendly and went out of his way to fix something that wasnt even part of the original job for free.

So my son drops off the car at 10AM and he quotes 3 hours. 9 hours into the job and he can’t figure it out. Pick up the vehicle and it’s a wire nightmare.... Fire hazard!! Small world my brothers neighbor took his Jeep to him and it’s the same story. DO NOT trust this guy. Who knows how many more people he’s done this to. BE WARNED!!!

Destroyed my wiring harness to my display. Soldered into it leaving a short. Now have to take car to dealership to resolve it and replace harness. Left a ground hanging loose as well as leaving ALL the display screws out of unit. Im horrified. Was at my home for a simple camera install leaving my car undo for 3 days.now in fear it may damage car worse.

Worst place i have ever been to. Says he has 15 years experience, doesnt act like it. Asked to have an amp installed, said iw would take 4 hours. Six hours later the truck is all apart and nothing done except the power was run. Made him put truck back together and left.

Hi RJ! I’ve been calling you for the past few days. I really hate to get your attention this way. The last we spoke when I had to get my car towed you said you were willing to correct the mistakes you made on my wiring which caused me to have to replace my battery and caused my battery cables to catch fire. And completely ruined my starter. Let’s be fair now RJ . This could have turned out really bad seeing as how my car stopped on me and my kids in the middle of the street. Due to an issue YOU caused. Please give me a call back. This has cost me time and money.

This is my second review for RJ audio, just came back and got a 12 speaker installed....cool dude, down to earth, knows a fair deal of info on car audio installs, for all yall hating on him heres the deal, this man works out of his home and is making an honest living, if he makes a mistake i feel he would fix it, he even gives you a reciept that is basically a 30 day warranty on his work. If you cant deal with the fact that he works out of his house and realize that when someone works on anything in a vehicle all sorts of situations can come up. Sometimes it takes more time than expected. I was there longer than i thought this last visit, but i had some issues come up and when i had to get back home he sped things up for me. As far as being mobile service, i havent used those services of his...but on his behalf when i deal with mechanics or self owned businesses these situations like running late happen. Bottom line... Support local businesses, or go to another place that will probably overcharge you and give you the same service. They just hide behind a desk so it feels as if its better service Had a double din radio i needed installed...everyone is closed cuz of the pandemic...having music to listen to is essential during these times...we gotta be able to hear the news if you dont watch tv!...they were open...these dudes installed the radio pretty quick...it was hot but hey...thats htown for you. 1 star is even too much. He agreed to come install stereo on my car the first day and said he will be here in 30-45 mins. An hour later he responds saying he got busy with a customer. I rescheduled to next days between 1-3. He said he will come at 3. At 2:50 he text me saying lets reschedule because its blazing hot. Seriously?! Blazing hot? I offered to park in shades and blast the AC as accommodation he still didnt reply. Word of advice, if you cant take heat or understand basic customer service dont work in this business. What a wuss.

Had my husbands vehicle all day and at night he still hadn’t done anything but tear open the panels and wiring - luckily he got there in time also the guy was trashed when he got the vehicle back
