Came on Saturday to see and purchase a vehicle. The son told me it needed some work and would be ready by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Assured me it was going no where given the condition. Took my number. I had an off feeling Sunday. Started to go back up there but on the website it said call for an appointment on Sundays. I call first thing Monday morning and presumably the father answers and not only says he sold it Sunday but gave the man a deal for vehicles issue. I wasnt even given that option on Saturday. I would have purchased it as is had someone given me the option. Offered me another vehicle that wasnt ready to be purchased that day unapologetically like take it or leave lady. I will gladly take my cash elsewhere.

I purchased a 2003 Toyota Rave 4 over a month ago September 2021. I found this location driving around the Houston area. When I arrived at this dealership I was approached by the owners son. I asked to drive the car which I did at the time I only heard some noises coming from the front end. I asked the owners son if the check engine lights was on or if the cleared the light and he told me NO. He also told me nothing was wrong with the car.I only had the car for two days and the check engine light came on. I then took the car to a mechanic shop to find out the car wasnt safe to drive. I paid $4,500 for the car. I spent $4,800 to fix the car in total. I have a family and I just needed a safe and reliable car. This location will lie to you just to get your money. They can careless about you or your well being.Please choose a different location to purchase a car. I use Google reviews often to help me make decisions on were I do business. This is not the place!!

Took it to my mechanic to get it inspected and absolutely nothing wrong with it besides the air filter needed to be replaced. Bought a 1998 Honda CrV with 160k miles on it. They said it was in good condition ready for the road. 30 minutes on the road its struggling to get over 60 mph. Took lots of work to get it running good and it had 11 year old tires on it! Trust your gut instinct when you walk in and turn away. These guys will lie and sell you a lemon with a smile on their faces.

On their website they show the cars they have for sale: pictures, mileage, plus the VIN numbers to all their cars. You are welcome to test drive them and even have your mechanic check them out. If you do not see what you are looking for check back on their website. There is no high pressure here. There is a great chance you will find a very good car at a reasonable price that will last for some time and not have a car payment. Just like the big dealerships, unless you buy a new or a certified car, there is no warranty. Bought a 2008 Toyota Corolla a few weeks ago with 129k mileage, great condition interior and exterior. Aside from some minor scratches on the front, which i dont really mind too much. I did come across a minor issue recently where battery terminal connection had some dirt, but that was easily fixed within a few minutes.Mr. Ayashi and his brother were really nice people, answering all our questions, concerns and also allowing us to test drive a few of their cars. Mr. Ayashi also gave me a discount to fix the crack on the windshield so that was really appreciated.I recommend them if anyone is interested on buying a car from Universal Auto Credit. Keep in mind, they are used cars and over the years they are bound to have issues and parts replaced. That is if the car were well taken care of by previous owners. In other words, Mr. Ayashi and Mr. Tedj take good care of the cars they have available.

We drove an hour there to look at a car we saw on cargurus. We ended up not liking that car but test drove a mazda 3 and loved it. We paid mostly cash but my card wouldnt go through for the rest. He let us take the car home the same day on our word we would come back the next day with the rest of the cash, which we did. Weve had the car almost 2 months now and it has been good. Took about 5 weeks to get the title. Still havent recieved the tags or inspection sticker in the mail yet though. Temp tags expire in a few days. Will update when its recieved.

My mom & dad went half and bought me an ‘02 Nissan Sentra a few days ago (9/1/20), & my mom & I were told nothing was wrong with it except for the fact that I would need tires because it started shaking once I got to 60. Anyways I called up there, no answer the first time, but when he answered the second time I told him (what I said in the beginning) & the only thing he had to say was “idk, I’ll text you my brother’s number so you can talk to him.” I called back two times because he still hasn’t sent the number, & was sent to voicemail both times. He finally sent the number, & when I called his brother, he said the same thing.“Idk, have you checked under the hood?”“Yes, I put antifreeze in it, & it’s still running hot.”“Idk what to tell you, you might have to have a mechanic check it out.”I hung up because why tf do I need to go to a mechanic on the THIRD DAY of just buying this car, my first car at that. I understand that it’s used & there are gonna be problems, but 2-3 days after buying the car. No problems should arise that quick.

My brother-in-law recommended this place to me when I was in the market for a car. He had bought his car from here a year earlier and got a great deal. There are many shady characters in the used cars market, but this is an honest family-run business. Dahmani, the owner, let me do a test drive, and get an inspection by myself. This dealership was honest about what they were selling and didnt try to rip me off. While I might not have gotten the absolute cheapest price, I do think it was a good deal, and a good car. If you want a car from an honest dealer, this is one Id recommend. Buying from them was my first time buying a car by myself, and I dont regret it. I would recommend this company to any of my friends or family in the Houston area who need a used car and a good value.

I made an appointment to test drive a car i saw on cargurus.com. They confirmed the appointment. When I get there, they informed me they sold the car an hour ago. I asked, why they did not notify me when I told them I was on the way. He just shrugged his shoulders and said, I dont know. Complete waste of my time.

Bought a car here advertised as excellent condition of everything even engine, next day i had to take it in to get looked at cause of noise and leaks and was told by different mechanics and shops that engine needed to be rebuilt and bad struts and it basically was gonna be more than what i paid for the car. Called universal and with rudeness was denied any help and or refund or replacement. Do not buy from this place, they will cheat you and hide any information from you to get your money, stay away.

Unprofessional. Called to get a Carfax on a car and was told they could fax it but couldnt email it because he didnt know how to work a computer. The only other person who can work a computer just left and theres no clue when hell be back. I asked if he could read through it for me and he replied, I already said I can fax it to you... seriously?

Wouldnt even give it 1 star. Went in today to look for a car. Me and my boyfriend were outside looking for at least 10 minutes and nobody even came out to speak to us to see if we needed help. Ended up going inside ourselves, the man who served us was so incredibly rude did not even introduce himself or anything, stayed sat down and when we tried asking him questions about the cars he was so rude. Ended up just walking out. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Overpriced cars and shocking customer service.

I bought a car from here in late October 2011 and it has been running real good since then, havent had any major problems. This isnt so much about the car, but the great price I got for it. I went there couple of times, good friendly owner, can test drive any vehicle. 2nd time i went there to check out 2010 focus. Its alignment was so bad, dealers should take care of these things before they put it on sale. Also Looks like a trustworthy dealer.

I purchased a car and in four months the engine went out. They allowed me to use one of their cars. They allowed me to make payment to them to purchase another engine. The engine they purchase has been leaking oil since it’s been put in my car. They refuse to give me the name of the company they purchased the engine from. They refuse to give me the receipt for engine. They keep telling me it a mechanic issue the the new replaced engine is leaking oil.

Save your time and money because they will try to sell you at top dollar for junk. Expect to pay more to replace stuff than should come standard with your vehicle.Both my wife and I went here to look at a 2010 VW Routon SE w/ RSE for 7k that they have just posted on CarGurus (See Link Below) The post was not a day old and we went down to take a look at it. They posted 29 photos and only half of them belonged to the van that we were seeing (See List below). The van was is good condition also was super clean and we even saw the CarFax on it and it looked good. It was a fleet car and then 1 owner afterwards. However there was so many things that we found wrong with the car that it was not even funny. We test drove the vehicle and we liked it and made him a offer of 5k. He did not like the offer however when explain to him that I would have to replace this stuff and get new. The dealer just got more mad because I was looking at the small details still trying to convince us that 7k was a good price and you should expect a used vehicle with a few problems. I told him yes however a person would not expect to have to pay an additional 1200 dollars and more to go replace tires, a new key (since ther was only one), replace missing or damaged equipment. He tried to explan that the car would fetch 9k according to the CarFax that we saw together in mint condition and I had to point out on the spot that this vehicle was no were near mint condition. He did not like that answer however his fellow worker in the room was seen nodding his head in agreement by my wife. Since he wwouldnt budge on the price we went and took our buisness else were and we are glad that we did. We were able to buy a 2010 VW Routan SEL with the DVD and Navigation package with in exellent condition for 6k. He may have had our business instead of us walking out if the vehicle was worth 7k but it is their loss.I really want to drive back and show them what a great find this was and I didnt have to spend more than the base price of 6k to get and replaced some or all of the features that come standard with the van. However my wife said that would be plan rude.I also would like to point out that his own mechanic had said that there is something wrong with the van as front tires were bald on the edge as it is a clear sign that it needs an alingment. Also learned that from experience with 2 vehiclesList (From local VW dealership $100 Labor)-Bald Tires $430 to replace (Sears)-Alignment - $310-Broken Tire Pressure Monitoing tire steam $87 Replace-Lots of curb damage to the rims $387 (per rim)-Found broken glass upon a closer inspection (chipped windsheild) $10 per chip (Clear poxy)-Broken AC rear vents $32 per vent (not including labor)-No DVD player remotes (2) or head set (2) that came with the DVD package $150 per remote / $130 per headset-A kids insperation in pernament marker on the roof padding by broken vent $300 Proffessional cleaner-Center console missing componets (Floor base) $422 replace-Engine compartment dirty and engine was covered in dirt as if it was flooded from Harvey-1 key only with the purchace and to replace or get another one would cost up to 400 dollars to replace.

Drove 3.5 hours to see a car and was a total waste. The owner of the lot who goes by name Jimmy lied about car condition and was disrespectful when we asked why he didnt disclose all defects on phone.Jimmy who is palestenian also had things to say about different ethnicities and their car choices, made me really uncomfortable. Very unprofessional and would never recommend anyone.

Battery exploded in one week. I had to rebuild the transmission, and some engine parts in ONE MONTH. They’re old cars, but they’re not cheap.

Located several cars to look at, drove an hr and a half to look at cars, 2 were at this place. Gates were closed, sign said open. Called the place several times, they never returned our calls. Do they even want to sell cars?
