Doug Torres is a great asset to Ford Service. Helpful, but not pushy.Quick Turnaround on my car. Good price for service.
I made an appointment and was assured the vehicle was in stock multiple times. I verified this when leaving my home. Then, after driving 45 minutes, the receptionist and sales manager decided to explain that their organization uses multiple systems and procedures so the vehicle may show in stock, though it was sold a day prior.Besides a condescending tone and treating potential customers like 2nd class citizens, I would be concerned about service after a sale is complete. This disorganization at the sales level reflects the culture and one should consider the long-term relationship here.
I was very satisfied with the service provided by my service provider Lance. He was very kind and explained things to me very well and got my vehicle finished in a timely manner, and returned to me so clean I thought it was a new truck . I would definitely recommend Russell and Smith Service and Lance to my friends and family and I plan on doing all of my service in the future here. Thank you all for making this a pleasant experience for me
Outstanding service experience at Russell & Smith Ford! Earlier this afternoon (Saturday, during Labor Day weekend), I phoned the service department to confirm that they were open and could perform an oil change on my F-150. Miguel confirmed that they were open and told me to come on by! Miguel, Jose and Tyler were all super friendly, and my truck was all taken care of in under an hour, on Labor Day weekend no less! I’ve had consistently great experiences with the service department at Russell & Smith Ford and will remain a loyal customer.
I was looking for a new car and ready to buy, after I found it at Russell & Smith Ford and confirmed the availability made an appointment for the next day and when I showed up at the dealership I was told that car was sold. I tried to get an explanation and the salesman was like “ we don’t make the appointments, a third party does and we don’t know why they told you that the car was available.” He was not helpful even though we asked him to show us another car he said “the car you wanted is been sold I don’t know why you want to look at another car that is not what you want “. I went to another dealership ( Tommie Vaughn Ford, nice people and very friendly, helpful and professional) and found the car I was looking for and got a good deal and bought it the next day.
Went for the First time to the service department an had an outstanding experience, Mack thank you so much for all the help.
I bought a car in great shape for my twin daughters to share. I saw the car online and scheduled a test drive. My purchase experience was both personable and professional. I will definitely be a return customer.
The service was almost superior. After fixing what was needed. I would appreciate if the dealership washed my truck. It was rather clean prior to dropping it off. With work being done on it
Do yourself a favor and read the Yelp reviews instead. Idk how their Google score is this high because its very obvious on other platforms (and from my first hand experience) that this is not a place you want to do business with.Google rating almost 5 stars/Yelp rating is 2 1/2...
Lance was professional and very pleasant to deal with. Repairs were quick and done with the utmost highest quality. Getting the full detail didnt disappoint. Thank you guys!
I’ve been going here for several years and never had a bad experience. Everyone is personal and upfront with your vehicle’s status. The prices are very reasonable compared to other establishments and I’ll continue to visit for all my car’s needs.
Best service in the area!! Service Advisor Brandon was great. Problem was diagnosed in two hours but was a special order part. Brandon kept me informed all the way through and called me when the part came in so I could bring my truck back. Great job.
I received great customer service from Brandon Bailey at Russell & Smith Ford!I was getting the run around from a different company but when I called Russell & Smith Ford, Mr. Brandon Bailey answered and was a breath of fresh air. He knew everything that I needed and reassured me that he would take care of everything and he did. My whole repair process was easy and seamless, because of Mr. Brandon Bailey. Whenever I need any repairs done on my vehicle I would definitely go back to Russell & Smith Ford service center with Mr. Brandon Bailey. I really recommend anyone that needs repair on their vehicle to call Russell & Smith Ford and ask for Mr. Brandon Bailey! My Ford Flex is running great with no problem and I’m back on the road! Thanks again Mr. Brandon Bailey for your excellent customer service!!!!!!!!-Yancy Stephens
StePHen was great to work with. They were short staffed but he hustled and was able to take care of everyone while keeping us apprised of his next steps for us. BUT it all started a few days before. I took my other car for an oil change and decided to walk over and look at the trucks. I had a question (or two or three…) and he patiently answered my questions with no hesitation or frustration and the. He gave me his card so that I had his name when I was ready. I was ready a few days later. He is a great sales person he knows that you need to invest time in order to reap later. Thank You StePHen.
It was a great experience. All the people that I dealt with were professional and responsive. I found the truck I wanted and was able to close the deal in just a couple of days coming from Beaumont. I would recommend Russell & Smith highly to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.
Russell & Smith always does a great job with servicing my vehicle. I have an older Ford Fusion that isn’t worth much, but they treat it with lots of value. Ford as a company took forever to get my recall sorted out, but as soon as parts were available I went to R&S immediately. Lance was able to go above and beyond to figure out issues with my car outside of the recall and gave me really helpful advice with how to proceed. Doug is also a really great service advisor as well.
I took my 2013 Ford Escape to Russell and Ford off 610 near Kirby and I was exceptionally pleased with the outcome. The service representative, Brandon, was attentive, courteous, and informative. I went in for an alignment and tires. It also was discovered that my cabin filter needed replacing. Brandon kept me abreast of the status of my vehicle throughout the repair process. The facility is well maintained. I was able to wait in comfort. I also was not surprised by the fee. They allowed me to search for coupons😃, l left at home, and apply as discounts to my total charge. I frequently use this location. The history of car repairs for my vehicle are maintained as well as the copies that I keep for myself. I highly recommend Russell and Ford for your next car service.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE from Brian Kelledy and Kameron McNulty! The sad part is that all the bad reviews say to contact them and they’re the ones that I can’t get a hold of. I’ve been emailing them about the issue I have with a 2020 F-150 I bought from there earlier in the year. I even call them and leave voice mails and they never call back! I bought the truck online and had it delivered to me. After I took possession of the truck I noticed the driver side rear view mirror was broken. I have pictures from the salesman to prove the mirror was already broken at the dealership. I’ve been patiently waiting for them to respond, but I haven’t got no response from them since August. They did say they would fix it but I would have to drive there and I live 3 hours away. Not sure if they’re going to fix it anymore because I can’t get a response from them. Very disappointed in their customer service! Will never buy a vehicle from them again!
Very interesting. Ive sent a build for an F150 request 2 separate times over the past several weeks. A person (guessing a manager), followed up inquiring if anyone has followed up with meResponded no. I hear dealerships are hurting . Evidently not Russell and Smith. Even more surprising, Ive purchased several trucks from them over the years. Dealing with another dealership now.
The three times I visited Russell & Smith hasbeen wonderful. Before freaking out on my recent visit, thinking I needed to leave my car or get a rental. Taylor, Service Advisor had a solution for me. He told me keep the car, bring it back the next day and he can get me in quick. He got me in-and-out within 45 minutes.
I had an excellent and enjoyable experience.Although my purpose was to order a routine maintenance, I was given a vip treatment.Thank you for all you guys do.Keep up the good work.
We bought our car here during the pandemic and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable!I recently had our car serviced for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised to get an email and a phone call letting me know it was time for service. The waiting area is clean and has separate areas for kids, work station, TV area and another quiet area. Service was done quickly and efficiently.I would definitely recommend Russel & Smith Ford if you are looking for new/used cars or simply looking for a place to get your Ford serviced!Thank you!
Told me my trade-in wasnt worth much and haggled for HOURS about it. Less than a week later and its posted on their site for more than twice what they gave me. Dishonest.EDIT: I wish I could give zero stars. I was given a too bad apology, some more lies, and they promised to follow up on my concerns. Since then, no contact and they arent returning my emails or phone calls. I would avoid Russell Smith Ford like the plague.
When I bought my truck last year, I was told that I would get two free oil changes and tire rotations. Las month, I knew I was coming close to the years end. I called the Service Department. I asked whether I should bring it in then or whether I could wait a few weeks, even if that meant I was a couple of weeks over the deadline. The service representative who answered, said, Thats no problem. She said, Just bring it to the Quick Lane and theyll get you taken care of. But when I did that, I was told that my service contract had expired and that I had to pay. I explained what I was told. They took ten dollars off. They asked who I spoke to. I didnt get her name. I just assumed she knew what she was talking about Two weeks didnt seem like a big deal to me either. My contract expired April 28. I brought it is on May 10. It is a bad business model to lose a customer over a fifty dollar charge, but thats what has happened.
Best experience ever!!!Jesus was very helpful, welcoming, knowledgeable, answer all my questions(if he wouldnt have told me he was a new car sales man, i wouldve believe he has done this for years) i walked in thinking i will only be approved for a used old car (cause of my credit)but walked put in a 2020 ford escape, which i love and my daughters do too!!!!Jason the finance manager was also very nice, review all paperwork without a rush. I felt very comfortable.PS. JESUS NEEDS A RAISEI want to thank everyone!!! Ask for JESUS and JASON
Doug from Russel and smith Ford did an amazing job at keeping me updated with every little thing about my truck and super quick will definitely be back again!
Lance was great and really helpful he gave me a really good first time experience with Ford !
From the moment we got to Russell and Smith it was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Jorge “the Cuban guy” was absolutely awesome! He made everything so easy! The best car experience we have ever had! Definitely recommend Jorge at Russell and Smith!
Jose is great! I will definitely recommend and will come back again. Great customer service. My biggest concern was them being certified working on an electric car. Which they are certified :). I got shuttled back home while my car got serviced. Experience was hassle free. I look forward to working with Jose again.
Service was prompt and professional. I REALLY liked receiving the video showing me the inspection results so that I could make a more informed decision about whether the filters needed replacing. I also appreciated receiving the video showing me the replacement. You have earned my trust and confidence in R & S Ford. Thank-you Jason and Angel!
The service was excellent, Keith was excellent in providing the service I needed as well as looking for the recalls, making sure they were all taking care of. The service guys updated me on everything that was done. I would highly recommend the team to anyone. Thanks again for the terrific service.Gwendolyn Coleman
I worked with Service Advisor Jacy Blair. it was a great experience. 5 stars.
The salesman Martin was very helpful very kind and considerate the finance manager was outstanding made the process so easy and quick I really appreciate the service that they give
Poor service the people in the service center make up their own prices on oil change. I had an oil change done for centectic oil and they were trying to scam me for 142.00 for oil change dont go there they make up their own prices. Not what the dealership offers. I still end up paying 110. They taking advance of people. Its sad since its a tough time for people and big places like this one take advantage of people.
On 05/22/21 location: 3440 South Loop West Russell and Smith Ford my husband and I arrived for our scheduled appointment at 7am and was told that it would take a couple of hours to work on my breaks, well that lead up until 8-9 hours, my husband had to be at work for 2pm now its after 12noon my car still havent been worked on only to find out that the rotors and or breaks were not in stock, the rotors/breaks were picked up twice and was still wrong so now I sit even longer waiting for the correct parts to arrive. I spoke with the manager Shane about how long we have been waiting, he apologized and that was it, he never tried to find out what was going on, until I mentioned that the very polite Douglas Torres said he would take my husband home so he could get to work on time, Shane came back to his office after asking Dough if he said that he was going to take my husband home only to tell me that Doug would be taking my husband home, Hell I knew that I felt so bad for the front desk works because theyre the ones that got RIPPED and FUSSED at by the customers while the workers in service department was the ones screwing up. I understand being short handed but this is ridiculous. Now its raining with an 80% chance of a thunderstorm and I was just notified by Doug Torres that my parts just arrived @ 2:30pm, this service department should find another profession because working on cars is NOT what they were cut out to do. It is 3;50 just finished with my car..On a scale 1-10 this place is a 0....I dont want to give a one star rating because thats too good.
Visited Russell & Smith to look at new Ford Rangers and had a great experience with Jorge the Cuban Guy (his nickname) and Tuc Nguyen. They worked hard to sort out the right vehicle, on the right combination of terms (trade-in, sales price, finance, incentives) in a very open and honest way. I appreciated the clear and direct communications and left very happy with the Ranger and deal I wanted. Perfect. Thanks guys! See you next time.
This place is progressively getting WORSE in customer service. When I was last there I dealt with a person name Lance Armer. His attitude towards me was abysmal!! I’m not sure if he was having a bad day, but his attitude seems to be the norm around the facility. The customer service culture is horrible at Russell and Smith Ford. The only bright spot I’ve seen is a customer service rep name Taylor.I will NEVER return here, and I suggest anyone reading this heeds my warning, or you will be sorry!
I had a great experience with Stephen Brooks, he was very good with follow up and knowing the product. I had never purchased an explorer before so i had a lot more questions than normal, he was able to handle that without any trouble they also had the vehicle ready as promisedthe whole team was greatthanks for the great experienceBlake Jackson
I am here now and I have been trying to get a new car but Google maps is leading me the wrong direction at times but whoever is hacking my account stop because I will not give up on what I am doing. Nice dealership and really nice cars I hope to get one from the no pressure sales representative and team here.. The Ford Explorer is my favorite of all.
Great place to service your car. Fast friendly service was provided. Helpful staff that followed all covid guidelines. We will definitely return. Good work Team
Bought my car at Russel and Smith and enjoyed every moment of it. (I mean who actually enjoys buying a car, not me!) However they made is super simple.I have brought my vehicle back for all of its maintenance including an on-going issue. Doug was extremely attentive, understanding, and willing to get the problem solved. His coordination between the mechanics, Ford, and myself was outstanding.I will keep returning to Russell and Smith for all my car buying and service needs.
Really clean location. But it took over 5 hours to do a Oil change rotate balance and alighment.
We called and asked about driving the Mach E, we were told that they had one in stock, so we scheduled an appointment. We drove half an hour to test drive the car and SURPRISE, the dealership didnt have any Mach Es in stock and nobody in the store had any clue about our appointment.
Stephen Brooks was very helpful and professional. The car was available upon arrival for test driving. Jason Lainez was great as well with explaining the financing process. The dealership was clean and the receptionist at front was very welcoming. Great dealership overall.
Excellent purchase experience. Willian (Sales associate) went above and beyond even after the sale to ensure everything was to my liking.
Jacy Blair in the service department was responsive and helpful. I really appreciate the whole team and the willingness to help!
Great vehicle, my kids really like it a lot russell and smith are doing a great job . Thank you Jorge !!!
Got an estimate about a particular vehicle and the sales person asked me to come over for a test drive and finalize the deal! I got there half an hour later and was told that car was sold yesterday!! I thought they’re joking with me and when I showed them the text messages he simply said sorry, our online sales department are not on site and have no access to our inventory! Absolutely careless about customer’s time and need. They just wanna get the people to their door no matter if they can deliver or not!
Stopped to have an oil and filter change and asked to address a clicking noise from the AC. Turned out the clicking noise is a very well know flaw many Ford cars have. Estimate to fix was $1,500 (yes, you read it right) and Amber was able to extend a 10% discount as she claimed they have to remove the dashboard. Then things got bad … picked up my truck and the alarm was not working anymore and cables left al over the pedals (I have a custom audio system) - the way the cables were left were not only dangerous as they were wrapped to the brake pedal but shows utterly disregard on how a job has to be done. Left the truck again to have these issues addressed. The day after the alarm was working but the cable were poorly addressed (not even zip tied, just hidden). At that point I said I will take care as seems they were unable to use good judgement. Then the alarm start to acting off. After two days Amber asked me if all was right and I told her no. She did not follow up neither asking how she could better address the matter. I had to take my truck to someone that professionally was able to tidy up all cables properly. The alarm sensor was not even zip tied and the plastic panels in the footwell area placed OVER the rub mats (a circus). Laziness and incompetence at its best. Considering I left quite some money is incredibly disappointing. My first (and last) visit at Russell & Smith Ford. And more likely my last Ford truck.
I took my car in because the brakes needed work. I was told I needed a new hydraulic system. It took nearly a month to get the problem dealt with. I was told that the parts were backordered and the delivery date kept getting pushed back. When the parts finally did show up (after about 3 weeks), then the technicians had trouble bleeding the brakes for some reason. This took another week to finally get resolved. Throughout communication was poor. I was not told about delays and their reason without have to continually call in. Leaving messages usually was fruitless and had to rely on having someone pick up the phone. I never did find out why it was difficult to bleed the brakes. This was a very frustrating and costly experience as I had to rent a car at some point during this month long wait.
Very satisfied with my experience at Russell and Smith Ford . Alex my salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable and easy to talk to . Denny in the financial dept was also a pleasure to work with. The whole team at Russell and Smith are outstanding 👍🏼
Brandon did a great job taking care of my truck
Great Customer Service! Stephen and Alex did a wonderful job!!! The whole process was smooth.Great communication also!
Even though they were busy they were friendly and did a great job on the service, Check out and pick up was fast and easy. The only thing is that they forgot to wash the truck and again I do understand that the place was crazy busy. Overall I am satisfied with their quick lube services
Went for a lease-end appointment at Russell and Smith for my Ford Escape vehicle. I met with a salesman and his manager and was told false information about how the lease end process works. Had to call Ford Credit to be told all the information they told me was a lie. In the end, got the stereotypical sleaze experience with car salesmen you see in movies. I have driven Ford vehicles for 11 years, had great experiences with the vehicles themselves. Russell and Smith does not care about their customers, so if you can lease or purchase your Ford anywhere else, I encourage you to do so.
Joses service was superb. He took excellent care of me and my vehicle.
Welcomed to dealership by salesman(StePHen) at front step, very polite and knowledgeable. I was offered fair price for my trade and got a decent price on truck i purchased. Never had opportunity to meet manager. Person i dealt with in finance(Jason) was throughly knowledgeable of his job, product, and answered all unanswered questions left on table, even next day after sale was complete I called and he answered question and offered me to reach out to him with any other questions that may arise.
Came from out of town to look at a used car on the lot I had been interested in and Alex helped my grandad and I flawlessly through the whole process. Thoroughly impressed and recommend R&S Ford one hundred percent!
Douglas kept me informed of the back ordered parts for my vehicle and got me in immediately and out the door when they finally arrived. Thanks Douglas
I Live behind R&S Ford. A large number of my neighbors warned me about R&S when I moved into West U. Terrible customer service all said go somewhere else.Tried the service dpt for my truck and they messed up to many times. Then went in last month to buy a new truck and now I understand why they said look elsewhere. Went to 5 other dealers around us and this is place was by far the worst truck buying experience ever.I’ve been a loyal Ford customer and purchased 11 vehicles.R&S tried to hide a rebate that the other dealer gave me for being a loyal Ford customer.
My car engine light came on on the highway the other day and I was lucky to make it to the service center. Jacy Blair, Senior Advisor, was helpful, kind, and honest. She determined the car code and said it was probably one of two things. She was not sure when I would be able to get my car back based on the industrys semiconductor shortage coming out of the pandemic. However, she continuously communicated with me and the mechanics throughout the day. She was able to get me my car back by the end of the day and I made it home before a big storm. She also took the initiative to order an airbag recall item and will be in touch to schedule my future car maintenance appointment. Thank you to Jacy and the timely mechanics.
11/11/20 I ordered an F450 from Russell & Smith Ford (my third Super Duty with them) with an agreed price and even put up a deposit. Today they tried to screw me 3 different ways and would not sell me the truck for the agreed price. Super Shady and a horrible experience.First, They said they would match offers on trade-ins- They lied, but I agreed to $2,000 less than what another dealer sent me a contract at. I expected this trick, because they were shady with not being able to provide a price until my new truck showed up.Second, they claimed $695 protection package that I declined, was actually for wheel locks and mud flaps. I expected this trick too.Third, they required I use their financing to get the price which is not the case right now because Ford has no current rebate for financing. A trick I did not expect.Fourth, This is a custom order that I had to sign and provide $500 deposit by credit card (4 mo ago!) and somehow they lost the price, so I had to show proof, which I, of course, provided. This is where the real scam started. I thought I was getting $1000 back from Ford and $500 from the Farm Bureau, well, I was actually somehow eligible for $3000 in rebates, so they tried to pretend that they were meeting my agreed price with the $3000 in rebates instead of the actual price agreed to less the Ford rebates. Thereby screwing me out of $1,500 (plus the $2,000 on the trade) plus the taxes you pay on the rebate. But really they were trying to get over on me for a full $3,000. The market is great for them right now and they are playing games and scams.Mind you, this is the third truck I have ordered with the same deal each time.
OUSTANDING Customer service & attention to detail. My repairs took awhile (which was expected), but the staff ensured the waiting process was as comfortable as possible! Thank you!
My experience was outstanding. I’ve used them for years. I trust them and they are attentive and helpful. Driving to work, my car’s engine light came on indicating I needed service immediately. I contacted Russell and Smith and took my car in. Lance kept me posted on the service and did an outstanding job. It’s also nice that they have a rental car service on site. The service technicians took care of the problem and now my car is running great. Thanks!!
I expressed interest on a vehicle that was in transit. Someone named Luke who presented himself as an internet salesman reached out and we had some back and forths (very unresponsive, had to check in with his managers constantly). We finally got to a point where I was willing to come put a deposit down. I took some time off work and drove pretty far to come, when I got there I learned that this Luke doesnt even actually work there and is just some concierge. They had no idea I was coming and turns out the the vehicle had long been spoken for. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.
Took my 19 Mustang in for a check engine light and Keith Black took excellent care of me and was always attentive to my text with keeping me updated. Due to covid they are a lil behind with staff but overall it was a pleasure and my Stallion is back on the road!
Had a tricky electrical issue with my F-350. The service department was very quick diagnosing and repairing the issue. The service consultant, Jayce, was friendly and helpful. Overall great experience.
I am very pleased with the service my husband and I received from Russell and Smith Ford. They responded right away and repaired to the needs of our new used car.Thank you so much to the employees there, in taking pride and quick responses to the needs of the customer.Sincerely,Sharon Corder
After my father retired from Russell and Smith Ford 5 years ago, I started going to a closer Ford Dealership. After having numerous issues with the other Ford Dealership I decided to go back to Russell and Smith Ford, and Im glad I did. Taylor and Jose in the Quicklane have both restored my faith in how a customer should be treated. They are both very attentive and very helpful. It is very refreshing being treated so well again. I look forward to once again being a long time customer of Russell and Smith Ford.
Walked in two weeks ago with loan secured and paid half down on a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. In the past year I’ve purchased a Jaguar and an infiniti, all of which took less than an hour. I spent THREE HOURS at this dealership because they aren’t organized. I bought the car for my sister who lives in Atlanta. They knew it was headed to Georgia when I picked it up so I asked them repeatedly to inspect it. When we got it home we realized the spare tire and all of the parts associated with the spare were missing, the back glass was stuck and would not return to the proper position, one of the door locks in the back were broken and one of the USB ports would not work.I’ve left COUNTLESS messages for the sales manager and the general manager, all of who refuse to call me back. I’ve escalated this to regional. This is, BY FAR, the worst dealership experience I’ve ever encountered. I would stay away far away as possible.
After contacting dealer at 0900 this morning, to confirm our appointment, we drove 3.5 hrs to come and purchase a used vehicle. We texted salesman on our ETA along the way. We arrived to start the negotiation and paperwork, only to find out that they SOLD the car from under us! There was no communication that someone else was even looking at it. The manager came out only to tell us that they were sorry and that they cant hold a vehicle without a deposit. Is that how business is done, really? Piss poor communication. Non- caring attitude. Please do yourself a huge favor and pick another Ford deal in Houston. I know there are others who value customers more and provide better service than that!
Arrived to get an oil filter change and the process was painless and quick. Fantastic customer service and great advice! Recommend 100%
Worked with Chris Stevens. Purchased a used 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium and by far this was the most satisfying auto purchase experience Ive ever had in my life. Honest and reasonable. Go find him and you wont regret. Im a loyal Ford customer and Im looking forward to build a good relationship with him and the dealership myself.
Doug was a fantastic service advisor. Got to the heart of my problem and truck got serviced in a timely manner
Had to return my car due to passenger door opening while driving. The manager said its a recall but iam 1 day late for recall so manager is trying to get ford to pay for this problem. Still waiting for answer who will pay for my recall!
I took my 2019 Ford Escape on 2/4/21 and I tell you they were amazing!!! Matthew as well as another gentleman I didnt get his name explained in laymans term what was going on with my vehicle. They were very professional and courteous. I will be taking my vehicle there every time I need service. Thanks!
I had to take my car in for replacement of both of my airbags due to a recall. When attempting to schedule an appointment a couple of dealerships were not able to get me a loaner car or they were going to call me back because they were so busy. When the Ford recall representative contacted Russell Smith Ford located off the Southwest Freeway in Houston Texas their representative BJ was awesome! He was able to schedule my appointment and secure a loaner car for me on the day and time that I needed it! BJ was very courteous and professional. And he was sure to follow up with me once everything was done to make sure I was totally satisfied with their service. Thanks BJ you made the process so easy, youre the best!
Our sales agent, George was wonderful. Straight to the point and clear about everything. In addition, he has a warm personality that made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We appreciate the experience we had with George and the financial manager of Russell & Smith.
Rure Salinas you made my experience so nice. I love my Bronco Sport. Thank you so much for your hospitality and all you did for me.Satisfied customerCarolyn Bache
Alex and the rest of the team did a great job finding not only a vehicle that checked all our wants off but also much more. And they worked hard on getting well inside my monthly financial needs.
Back in February I have my oil changed and asked to have my tires rotated on my Ford Excursion. I mention that one tire needed to add air too, so could they check it out. Two hours later I’m leaving, I’m reassured my tires have been rotated and no problems were found. I look at the tire that’s been low the next morning, it’s still low. Go to a tire shop, sure enough piece of wire in sidewall. So Russell and Smith never checked, nor did they rotate my tires. Damn! Liars.
The staff was very professional. I was very comfortable as I waited for my new car. I will recommend this dealership to others, I will be back for future purchases. Thank you very much for all the assistance with my purchase.
I had an interesting situation that started a bit poorly and ended well. I made an on-line appointment for a 5:45 service (simple oil change, etc.) When I arrived, the first person who greeted me tried to tell me that there are no appointments past 4pm. and she asked me to come back the next day. I didnt want to do that and then a manager came to speak to me. From that point forward, he was very apologetic, extremely professional and the service got done. Its not as if the greeter was unprofessional, she definitely was all that and cordial too, but the impression I got was that if I didnt get to the next level I would not have gotten my vehicle serviced. They realized they had a glitch in their on line reservation system which had available slots that they didnt intend to offer but once that cleared up, it was excellent.
I heard a noise coming from my car suspension. I recently moved to the area so it was time that I stop driving to Baytown Ford to get my car repaired. I took the car in at 7:15 on a Monday morning. I was told that I could either wait or drop it off so I decided to drop it off. I didn’t hear anything on Monday, Tuesday nor Wednesday till I went back to the dealership to check the status. The agent who originally assisted me was off. I was told by her team member, “the driver heard the noise but has to drive it again to recreate the noise”. I was fine with that so I left. Within an hour I received a text message from the associate that was off, saying the weather was bad and the mechanic never got around to driving the car at all. The weather was fine on Monday and Tuesday so why didn’t he drive it then, why wait until the drizzling Wednesday? Why did one of them lie to me? I took the car somewhere else and THEY FOUND THE ISSUE WITHIN 25 MINS OF THE CAR BEING ON THE RACK, NO TEST DRIVE NEEDED!!! Don’t waste your time going here. Horrible customer service
Lance really took care of me and my vehicle. When I was told that no loaner car was available he went and set things straight. Highly recommended his service.
The service was excellent. The Ford recall part I was told was replaced. I will have to take the service Tec. word on that. However that have always been TRUTHFUL with me and that is a PLUS.
I would like to give kudos to two outstanding Service Advisors at Russell & Smith Ford. Mr. Taylor Parker and Mr. Brandon Bailey both of these Service Advisors went above the call of duty. I love that they were professional, polite and very informative. Thank you guys so much you all are awesome!
I think the young ladies name was Jacy she was very professional as well as helpful. Answered all my questions and had a great attitude.
Took my ford fiesta in for a repair. Had a check engine light P1450 code which is a leak in the EVAP system (stops fuel evaporating from the vehicle).Repair required replacement of the canister purge valve which is a readily accessible part at the top of the engine. It’s not an especially complicated job.Was charged $105 for parts and the rest for labor for the replacement of a part. Total cost of $454. It also took them 2 whole days to actually get my car ready even though I had booked an appointment and had told them what the problem was when I made the appointment.Pretty poor service at a very premium price. I’ll won’t take my car there again.
I was happy that Mr. Lance was able and willing to answer all my questions. Barbara Sands
This is the only location I bring my car for any service (Russell & Smith Ford) My service advisor kept me informed at all times.Great service! Thank you Brandon B!
Russell & Smith Ford is the best in Houston I called them and BJ handle everything and I recommend anyone to go there.
Drove 4 hours to pick up a car and the car salesman Alex sells it as I set foot in the door. Not telling me a deposit to make sure it doesnt go anywhere after several phone calls, text messages confirming I was on my way and what time I would arrive, and emails to ensure that there were no issues. No effort or recourse was taken to make it up to us whatsoever. Just, sorry. Sorry doesnt pay for 8 hours round trip of gas and wear on my vehicle or the day of work I missed to come get it. Do not work with these shady people when they wont tell you everything you need to know. Who knows what else they arent telling you about their vehicles.
I’m completely satisfied with the service I get at Russell & Smith Ford. They keep me notified on timing, etc. The only thing that I would like is for the technician to return the seat to the way it was, also the radio.
I bought a filter that I was told that I really didnt need at time. After I left I had to turn right back around because when the technician put the filter in he forgot to take off a piece paper?? I asked why all engine lights were on. He says that a big problem. NONE OF MY ENGINE LIGHTS WERE ON WHEN I CAME THERE. TO TOP IT OFF I WAS TOLD I NEEDED STRUTS .MIND YOU I HAVE HAD MY CAR LESS THAN TWO YEARS. SO HE SAYS HE WILL GET BACK IN TOUCH WITH ME NEVER DID HE GET BACK IN TOUCH. IS HE LIKE THE CROOK THAT SOLD ME MY CAR WORKING ON COMMISSION!!!!! YES MY RATING IS BELOW ZERO!!!
Russell & Smith Ford is always on point. They are professional, organized, and provide excellent customer service. Lance is the Professional and Awesome!!!
