I have been looking for a specific car for several months now and finally found my dream car at this location which happen to be a 4+ hour drive for us. I called and spoke with Sammy and with a deposit he held the car for me until we got there. Once we were there the whole process was great!!! Sammy is amazing and made the whole process simple, fun and exciting for us!!! So if anyone is looking for a awesome sales rep, be sure to ask for him!!! Once we got to the financing part of the process we working with Trey and he was equally as awesome!! Was very informative, professional, nice and funny!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.Ive been waiting months for the 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 HD, I finally find several at this dealership and immediately make contact with Marc Martinez. I provided the information he needed plus my trade in pictures and info. Marc made a first offer on my trade and I made a counter demand as I felt they were offering $10,000 below blue book value. He bluntly text me to leave trade out and go sell my vehicle elsewhere. I responded to him, I was not expecting that type of rude response, he did no attempt to contact me, negotiate or discuss my options after my comment. Thats very unprofessional of him. How sad DeMontrond does not care for new customers.

I drove out this evening because I saw a certain car they had listed on Autotrader and was in the area already looking at another vehicle. The posted hours of operation state that they close at 9PM but when I arrived at 815 all of the doors were locked and nobody could be seen. I drove around to see if anyone from the other DeMontrond stores were able to help and there were a couple of employees in front of the Volkswagen store standing around and didnt seem interested at all when I asked if anybody was there. The one guy who talked to me said if you go look maybe youll be lucky and walked off. I shouldnt have to get lucky for someone to be at the store able to help during the time they should be open. Not sure if I want to return another time to look at the car I was interested in as it is very clear nobody there actually cares about helping people out.

Bait and switch. First they may not have the car you see on carguru. If they do, then they require almost a $2000 reconditioning fee. Do not waste your time with this company. They intentionally put a low price online to bait you to contact them.

We made a reservation for routine maintenance and when dropping the car off was told it would be a few days. We got our car back 6 days later. Although we had a loaner, we needed our car. I was told that service is backed up due to lack of chips, etc. I suggested to the service rep that DeMontrond stop making reservations for service or tell the customers when making them the situation of being way behind . We would have waited and avoided the inconvenience.

Tried to buy a vehicle today and was financed through my credit union. They would not accept a draft letter?? I’ve never heard of a dealer saying I had to finance with them only and not my credit union. I called several other dealers and they all accept credit union and bank draft letters. too bad.. I wanted this vehicle! Blamed it on Covid. I work in this business and we accept all financing, too bad I can’t trade for what I want

I’ve purchased 3 vehicles from here and 5 more through family and friends. Jasmine and Raul are the best. I highly recommend them. Diego is a fantastic finance rep. Not to mention the deals each time were awesome. I purchased the prepaid maintenance and it’s been great so far. The guys in the service department are great as well. Polite, very knowledgeable, and they’re also car enthusiasts. If there are any problems they will fix it right away, no BS. I will keep recommending everyone I know. Awesome dealership.

Only for the salesman to come back out of the dealership to tell me they sold it to somebody else while we were driving it! Zero ethics. I really wanted to like this service department. My first experience here was great. They kept me abreast of everything going on and it was good. This experience was the complete opposite. Came for an oil change and 70000 mile service. Sat there for 4 hours. They never told me my car was ready though my car was sitting in the front for a minimum of 30 min. I had to go ask them to cash me out. Then when i go to pay they tell me that there were services that needed to be done. But I was sitting there for 4 hours and noone discussed with me that i needed 2 additional things done to my car!!!Their service is mediocre at best. Ill drive an hour just to have better service. Never again will I come here.

I just purchased a 2018 Atlas, I was very happy with my experience. Adam was a great sales representative. My wife and I were able to take as much time as we needed to look over the vehicle without feeling like we had a shadow. The only negative was the length of time the finance process took although it was after 6 PM on a Saturday when we started that process. Overall great experience.

Our experience with warranty work on our new Thor Motor coach was outstanding at DeMontrond RV. We did not purchase our RV at DeMontrond, however, they conducted the warranty work inspection, handled all the communications with the Thor factory, conducted the work on time and kept us informed through the whole process. My experience at DeMontrond Kia was outstanding. Viewing their inventory online was simple and fast. Having called ahead, my salesperson and selected vehicle were at the door waiting for me when I arrived. The entire process of finalizing my lease was as fast and painless as it could possibly be; I drove off in my new car an hour and a half after walking in.Special mention must be given to my salesperson, AC, for his outstanding work. Before I drove off the lot, he noticed an issue with my car (an upholstery defect). Rather than have me choose a different car and redo everything, he simply told me to take my car, come by in the next week or two, and he would have it repaired and give me a loaner car.I agreed, but had just the tiniest bit of apprehension about it. After all, the real measure of a companys customer service culture is in how they treat you after they already have your money, and car dealerships in particular are infamous for not giving customers the time of day once they drive off the lot. In this case, Im happy to say that AC was great. He was in constant communication, he was happy to help me even though Im sure he had other things to do, and he got me back my car faster than promised or expected. Hes an asset to his company, and Ill refer friends and family to him by name in the future.

Wow, based on the reviews, I think we should take our business elsewhere. We did look at the RVS ON THE Houston lot and have to say they really dont encourage just looking to buy. You best believe if I am buying something that cost as much as my home, I will look and look and look until I am satisfied it is the one I want. Since we are planning on living in the unit full-time and will be paying cash, I dont think DeMontrond will be getting my business. The plus side of this is they did not delete the bad reviews so maybe they are trying to change their image.

I purchased a car here in 2014. I was under the impression that my warranty would be void if I had service done anywhere else. My last oil change cost $170 and took 2.5 hours. They rotated the tires and replaced the filters which is why they had a high service charge. They didnt wash my car even though I had been told that came standard with bringing your car in for service. If you want a good deal on a Kia come here, but if you want quality service look elsewhere.

Ernestro Estrada not only understood my emotional attachment to my old car, he worked tirelessly to search high and low for the exact car I wanted. Five hours is a long time to invest in one customer, but he remained patient and supportive throughout. And, he delivered the car I wanted. With so much technology on the car, he gave me a thorough overview but then encouraged me to return as often as needed so he could ensure I was completely comfortable with it. I cannot recommend this dealership. My wife and I purchased a certified 2014 Tahoe from salesman Thom Robinson in September 2015. While we were buying the vehicle, Thom said he had contacted the prior owner and said he would get us the spare key that they still had. Turns out he couldnt get the spare key and we were told too bad that is how buying a used car works. He did, however, offer to charge us to have a new set made. Way to change your tone and insult your customer after the sale! I have tried to contact management but they have not answered or returned my calls.In addition, although we have had no issues with the vehicle itself, service after the sale has been extremely poor. No follow-up phone call or any of the typical acts of customer service that we have become accustomed to after our prior vehicle purchases at other dealerships.With all of the dealerships in the Houston area, skip this one and find one with a little more integrity that will make you feel good about your purchase.

We got our new Beetle here with a good deal. The salesman Troy is warm and helpful. He shows almost every functionalities of the car to us in details during our test driving. He can answer everything youd like to know about these VW cars. However, their showroom is not that friendly for customers. No water or coffee. Its so wired that Troy have to buy drinks for us from a vendor machine inside their building.

Horrible management team! We purchased a 2016 Winnebago Destination fifth wheel August 5,2016.The finance guy Tony was amazing and worked his magic! And our sales lady Patty was the best! However, from that point on was a nightmare! We had to wait until August 20,2016 to pick our unit up because the generator was not installed on the intial day as promised.So we arrive on August 20,2016 to do the inspection and walk through.We hadnt been there 20 minutes and my husband noticed 2 places in the back where the RV had been hit! Damaged scrapes and missing paint! There was also caulking smeared on areas on the outside of the R.V. and the unit was missing a screen cover for the furnace.We took pictures and are keeping them for proof! We told Patty our sales lady and waited a good 30 minutes for a manager to come outside.He finally arrivedand everybody involved acted like that Knew nothing about what happened.By this time we are furious! We told the manager that he better find out who is responsible for the damages on our brand new RV,the unit better be fixed ASAP,and as a manager- he better make it right! The manager acted like he really could care less about us being upset or the unit being damaged.We told the manager that he better put it in writing that it will be repaired.He wrote up an agreement and signed it and we did too.The bad thing about this whole deal is that we live in our RV long term and have 2 big dogs.They are SUPPOSED to come to our RV resort and pick it up when it is convenient for us- and return it to us.My biggest worry is that somethingelse will be damaged in the process due to our Lack of trust in DeMontrond . The biggest thing here-is that we will have to go to a hotel for who knows how many days.My advice is to go somewhere else.This was a nightmare for my husband and I.Nobody knows what is going on here and the management does not care about their customers! If it had not been for Patty our sales lady we would have walked away! She is a great person and cares about her customers.Unfortunately, she is not over anything but sales! My advice is -dont waste your time here! Look at the bad reviews listed here people- that is a huge factor!

Everyone lied, everyone was disrespectful. Unfortunately, EXACTLY what youd expect from car salesmen. And, I hate stereotypes, but these people took the cake. We made an agreement about a vehicle, then the next day they added almost $900 to the price. When confronted about it, we were told, At least its not $1,000!. Seriously? If its ... not $1,000!, why wouldnt you be willing to take that back off of the original agreed upon price? Then we were also told theyve had the same conversation with EVERYONE that came in that day?! Proper communication takes both sides, and they dropped the ball then walked off the court on that one. To top it off, it takes us almost an hour to drive down to the hovel. They knew that. They were told the first day we were there that wed be back the very next day. They knew. They didnt care. Very glad our money went elsewhere.And, everyone else who wasnt sitting lying to customers were lounging in chairs as if at their home playing on their phones. Chairs meant for customers. Seeing people standing around waiting for extended periods of time, didnt offer seats. Too busy being balls deep in the chairs, and their phones. Think I even saw a guys stomach...Seriously, worst place ever. Worst expierence ever. Im the optimistic person who gives everyone the benefit of the doubt and does my best to understand, but there wasnt any reason for any of this.Absolutely awful experience.

Found several things that were in need of Repair.Having trouble with tag department, paid cash for unit and have requested to be tagged in my home county, not Harrison county. State of Texas has a law on the books that require dealers to give customer choice of county to register vehicle in home county is different from purchased county.Today still no tags.

I see these negative reviews and quite frankly am surprised. I purchased a 2014 VW Golf, and my sales experience was absolutely wonderful. The finance department was not pushy or forward, I was in and out. I have had all of the service done at the dealership and it has been wonderful. I drive from Beaumont and they always accommodate me, fit me in where necessary and do whatever they can to make it easy on me. I will be many more cars from them and the only reason I would go anywhere else is for another make and model.

EDIT: THIS IS FOR THE TEXAS CITY LOCATIONWe were 2 weeks into a 6 week trip from Alberta to Florida when the Galveston winds did a very good job at trying to rip the door off our trailer. We are on a relatively tight schedule, traveling with three kids under the age of 10, so the broken door was an unwelcomed addition to our trip.Joe and Steve jumped at the opportunity to help us get our wheels rolling as quickly as possible. We were able to leave the truck hooked up while Steve repaired our door with my wife and kids waiting in the truck. The service was fast, friendly, and better than we could have hoped for. If I could give zero stars I would. The service manager has consistently provided insufficient answers to questions and is not reasonable with specific requests. I purchased my car here in 2014 and have had 100% of maintenance done here (with MUCH HEADACHE) but I will not be returning after I drove there and was informed that all service was now appointment only. The irony is that I used to make appointments for all my service and they would never honor them leaving me to wait for HOURS. I will never spend a penny there again and I will be sharing this with everyone I know.

This review is for DeMontronds service department and particularly the body shop. Scott Thompson and Jeff have been absolutely fabulous to work with! We did not buy our Fleetwood Discovery from DeMontrond, but I asked them to do some modifications to it including making a trundle slide out under the two bunks and converting the rear master closet into another bed. Not only did they do an incredible job with the body shop modifications, but they also took care of several warranty issues while they had it. It was returned in a timely manner and after I got it back I have been amazed a the quality of their work. I was concerned having a body shop work on such a nice coach, worried about their work looking shoddy compared with the rest of the interior. After getting it back, their work is actually better than the original factory, matches everything else perfectly, and they even improved on a few of the original aspects of the coach that I didnt even ask them to do originally. After getting it back there were a couple of tiny issues that when I informed Scott about, he immediately sent his guys on the road driving all the way to me 3 hours away to fix it on the spot. A truly amazing team and kudos to Scott and his team for a job well done. I will continue to use them and will encourage others to do so as well. Integrity and a good work ethic is a treasured find in the RV industry!

DeMontrond Kia is “The Bomb”After having one of the most frustrating “bait and switch” experiences at Gay Kia in south Houston, DeMontrond and their sales associate Todd Richards fixed everything and “saved the faith”. To make a long story short – the manager confirmed and promised my wife that they had several Kia Souls on the lot for the advertised price of $14,499. After making the 2 hour trip with our two little ones, looking at and test driving the car, and finally sitting down to do the paperwork (did I mention the two little ones in the background) the sales rep brings us a bill of sale for over $19K. After a firm no and “we want the one priced at $14,499” the manager brings us his “best deal” close to $17K.Lesson learned, stay away for Gay Kia and go see Todd Richards at DeMontrond. Todd was amazing and believe it or not we got the car for the price we were originally expecting to pay. Thank you DeMontrond for making our car buying experience what it should be – hassle free and exciting.

Service department works like a fast food joint...There is a multi point inspection sheet that is presented after an oil change or similar maintenance that the service manager admitted to me is NOT even used by the technician as I found out when I was told my rare brake pads were at 20% remaining on one visit after receiving my multi-point inspection on prior visits with no issues cited or coming up... Needless to say I was very upset because I am Always proactive with my maintenance on my Jeep & expected the experts at DeMontrond to help so I wont be surprised with issues & unexpected bills like this one which could have easily been avoided by checking my brakes as they were supposed to when I come in from my very routine oil changes & tire rotations. Attempting to talk with the Service Manager Mike Renfro is an exercise in futility as he as avoided talking to me with prior issues I have had escalated - he has no concern for customers & is more concerned about making his numbers. Very sad.

I went to my 1rst schedule oil change that was also free by the way, the appointment started out a little rough probably because I am defiantly not a morning person I was treated awesome. I submitted my desired vehicle to many dealerships electronically, Todd at Demontrond was one of the few who actually kept it simple and actually answered my actual questions and needs. In the end, I went with this dealership and challenged Todd to get me in and out in record time (I applied for credit in advance). After test driving I came back and we completed all the necessary paperwork in 9 mins. I was specific with my requests and very appreciative that Todd listened and was able to make this so easy for me.

Do yourself a favor. If you go to the service department, stay as far away from Clint Grazier. Hes a KIA service advisor. I went there for service and I was instructed to buy a part for my car. I bought it from their parts department and I dropped my vehicle off the following day. The car stayed there overnight. Clint called me at night and left a voice message saying my car was ready for pick up. So I went to service department only to find out the car was not fixed. I asked him what kind of joke was that? And all he did was to throw papers around his desk and said f****** customers. I dont care if I have to drive 50+ miles but I will go to a different dealership where my business is appreciated.

My wife and I had a great experience shopping for a Tiguan with AC Adam. He was professional and interested in selling the car that fit our needs rather than being pressure selling like the typical salesman. Their price was $2k lower than what I received elsewhere. My wife end up choosing another brand since shes used to driving BMW and like their handling, but I plan on coming back here to shop for a SUV in the near future.

Got my 2015 Kia Optima from DeMontrond Kia, they were extra helpful, Diego the Manager as well as Ernesto the salesman. I basically did everything over the phone, I told them what I was looking for, they told me they had it in stock, I drove there, test drove the vehicle which they had ready for me when I got there.Since I had already been pre-approved, by my credit union I was there less then 1 hrs. Definitely recommend them.

High pressure sales, bordering on harassment. Weve had a positive experience with them in the past even bought 2 vehicles from them, but they will be the last. As a customer who is in need of a vehicle it is our right to spend time at your business, but when we say no multiple times and leave your place of business we should never expect 8 additional phone calls not counting the numerous calls made to our alternate contacts. Seriously this is not sales or if you call it sales it is not SERVICE!
