I, rather my husband, always find something that we can use for home improvement. So.far our best find was an adjustable bed we got earlier this year. Todays find was a 7 shelf, paint, and vanity lights for the bathroom!

Here to volunteer at the restore. First time coming and it’s already amazing. Sure prices equal almost the same as Home Depot or Lowe’s, but, you also have to pay attention to the quality of what they sell. Employees are not as bad as what other say, they will interact with you and be as friendly as they can be. Not bad for a restore. Will be coming back to volunteer and as a customer!

Loved the price of paint! Beautiful colors! Sales associate very very kind and helpful and knowledgeable! RFlores cashier didnt greet me when I entered, when I was checking out,I ask her 3 times how she was doing today she finally said fine. After transaction she gave me my receipt and im the one that said thank you and have a nice day, she still said nothing. 10/01/21 11:16 am.. So thats y its a 2 star cashier uncustomer service

Good finds and prices on most stuff are reasonable some stuff are same price else where so just depends what your looking for..If u like something dont wait to get it most of the time its gone next day or so..

I love Restore for finding set items to use in my Nonprofit community theatre, if I was a homeowner I would probably visit a lot more.

Its like i walk in and im a child in a toy store. Variety of building materials found here. Recently they are revamping their shelves and getting organized. Keep up the good work.

1st time. Fun experience looking at items that could spruce up a project on which a one might be working.

This is one of my favorite habitat for humanity restores. They always have a great collection of tiles, grout, paint, appliances, crown molding, and trim. The employees are always cheerful and willing to help when you are looking for something. They also have nice fixtures as well within the store.

Sold me cabinets then had to go most to Katy to pick them up never told me that wasted 3 hours

I highly recommend visiting this ReStore before purchasing anything remodel related. I purchased my backsplash at $4 per 12x12 sheet...needles to say they have all other nearby stores beat!! Flooring, paint, and doors always seem to be abundantly available as well.

Likely have what you need in building materials. Doesnt have a polished professional look. My daughter came here to volunteer and I feel they discriminated against her bc she doesnt wear pants. Sent her home after about an hour.

All of the second hand stores seem to be having retail prices and no warranty. Is it just me or does that seem unfair?

No good mask policy at this store, none of the staff actually wear masks with any efficiency. All noses hanging out, wearing visibly disgusting masks. Place is a right mess inside and out.

Love this place! The one located at 610/Wayside is the best store by far! Today I ordered ALL new, solid wood kitchen cabinets, & for 11 cabinets it was just $2300! They also have great deals on flooring & a bunch of other things. Over the years, Ive gotten a ton of stuff from this location for my home renovations & Ive saved thousands. Definitely recommend it!

There great finds here if you have the time to look. Although, lately theyve been organizing the place and its looking much better. Maybe the should spend equal time training their cashier to smile and provide better customer service instead of always being so rude. In this case, one ruined the bunch.

36 cabinet here new unfinished is $150 go to Lowes and its $95. Its a rip off. The employees are also very rude.

People forget, that this place isnt Home Depot or Lowes. Its meant to be an alternative, if you cant afford to pay for items at those other places.But, at the same time, they only deal with donations.So, stock is limited.If youre looking for a particular item and they dont have it, then go to Home Depot or Lowes!Quit thinking youre entitled to Five Star Service when you bring in a One Star Attitude.Give yourself a Break!Ive never had any issues with service at this location.Staff was professional and provided helpful information.Ill be doing business with them again, in the future.

Friendly when you walk in but they were all standing around in the front talking i couldnt find anyone unless I went up to them standing around in a circle talking.

Close to home. Easy to notice from the street or 610 loop in normal traffic. Wheelchair accessible parking lot structure and entrances. Very cost effective pricing. Charitable association affiliated. Great for the community at large. Next to Sunoco gas station.

Definitely a great place to buy. Flooring lighting Paint everything at a very deep discount. Plus I have door cabinets. Everything Furniture light bulbs door knobs Kwikset deadbolts have everything you can imagine. If youre on a budget, this would be the place to go.

Purchasing things there will help to build housing for the less fortunate.

Got my stuff there..but some of the hostess there dont know that it is OK to speak to people..if you dont like your job then leave

Usually well organized and easy to find things.Staff/volunteers are another story. Mostly not helpful and careless with the items. Some are bluntly rude. Sometimes the prices are a far reach from reality.I have heard they hold back donations for people they know. If thats true then it needs better management.

This place is awesome, however 3/4 of their stuff has no price on it. You have to dig through everything to find good stuff. They have tons of excellent finds, and you can find some EXCELLENT things from building materials to interior decor. Love this place!!

I tried calling the store roughly 10 times over a week, and no one ever picked up the phone. Left two phone messages and no one called me back. I emailed and no one returned my email. I had scheduled a pick-up online and nothing. Is this open???

Straight up, this place is a mess. There is a pallet graveyard in the parking lot; shrink-wrapped and forgotten in the Texas sun. You have to buy the whole pallet, which no one standing outside bothers to mention until you ask.The stores inside is stocked full of hideous.The first aisle is nearly impassable because its so disorganized. The tile selection - the reason I went there - was full of more sadness than a newborns funeral. This is truly where glass tile goes to die! They must have travelled back to 1999 when it was popular, and brought back all they could carry because there was just so much of it.The prices were more like retail and truly hurt my one feeling. Nobody asked if I needed help, which was just fine with me. All that glass tile, I probably wouldve started crying.

Called looking for interior doors, not one but TWICE within 2 days. Was told both times that they just received a truck load, to come and look. Second call I spoke with a man on the floor. I told him I was driving from 60 miles away and that I wanted to be sure it was worth my drive. He said YES, come on, they have lots of doors starting at $55. So I loaded up 2 young children and a trailer, drove 60 miles. Got there, they had tons of doors, exactly what I needed, but refused to sell them because they had not been inventoried. I explained that I had called ahead, but they still refused to sell them to me, so I wasted a lot of gas and time.

First time there and didnt find what I needed but staff was friendly. Prices higher than most places on certain items

This store was great for ten years then new management or something, now the prices are sometimes higher than Lowes and Home Depot. Before you buy, double check the prices on new stuff. Also, the return policy is exchange only. No cash back. Ive bought two ceiling fans that failed out of the box, forced to buy stuff I didnt really need/want just to use the time limited merchandise credit. I wouldnt spend more than $80-$90 on appliances and would only buy tile in the pallet loads as they run out of the same tile quickly.

What a wonderful place! Great prices for a great cause. So m as NY choices, such a large selection. We paid over 800 for an exterior steel door with a glass insert. Same style here for less than half. Have to be willing to pull your own merchandise. But for a 50% reduction, I have no issue with it. Bought a hard plastic double sink Ill use in my courtyard, for 5!

This place is amazing. The prices cannot be beat - plus, the employees are pleasant and helpful. We were looking for tile today. We found tile - pallets and pallets of tile and at $50 a pallet - cant be beat. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because you had to load it yourself. If you have any free time, go check this place out. You and your wallet wont be sorry!!

They have no lumber! And most everything has no price and the people who work there are rude and not helpful at all. Its almost like they are put out cause they have to deal with the customers.

I just dont understand how a place like this says they are a non profit organization but sell their stuff. I thought non profit means they dont make a profit but yes I do understand that they need money to stay open that is understandable but for low income families not even able to buy items from here because of the prices is ridiculous trying to stay open is different then trying to get rich. You opened a business to help families in need but charge them why more then they can afford how does that may any sense or better yet how is that fair to the families in need of help.

Of all the re-stores this one is my favorite, especially for painting, doors and other remodeling itemsI would give it 5 stars but being a restore it has limited staff and in general is messy. That said, neither of those points come close to preventing me from keeping this as my go to

They get pricier every year and the variety goes down. Outdated couch with no legs for $300 because what...its vintage or something? Crown molding labeled as $8 but its over $20 at the register? Used to LOVE going here when I lived out East. Havent found anything good in a Houston one.

I got a really cool antique style table top for 5$!! Just have to put some legs on it and its ready!

Very little usable items to buy. I was hoping to help out a non profit I truly believe in so donated some items and thought I might buy some also but items for sale were not too interesting.

Great selection.. lots of stuff are new and comparable to home depot. Great price on molding and cabinats however it is seasonal and might not have enought for a full project. Plus the return policy is store credit only.

Messy store. Lighting department was a complete disappointment. There was a sign that said Do not open boxes in front of all the lighting merchandise. How do you expect people to know what they are buying then? How am I supposed to know if what I am buying is broken? Not to mention none of said boxes had prices on them. Other than that was a couple of dusty, dirty old chandeliers and ceiling fans. The rest of the store wasnt much better, a lot of unpriced items and lack of organization. Waste of my time and gas.

This location is not one of the areas better ones.

Its a small place where you could easily find quick items for your pet, buy some animals, and buy dog houses.

This place has some hidden bargains, but most prices are so close to Home Depot its really up to You to find anything worthwhile and the store is Air Conditioned which is a plus....Happy Hunting 😎
