This dealership up sells you on every warranty imaginable, but when you come in for service they have a long list of reasons as to why it’s not covered; forcing you to pay additional money out of pocket. I’ve only had this 2018 Yukon for a month and it’s already in the shop for multiple issues. Your supposed to feel comfortable when you see GMC Certified on a vehicle you want to purchase, but rest assured, it means nothing! The maintenance rep actually admitted (in a roundabout way) that they sell vehicles with known defects and all ‘certified’ really applies to is fluid changes.**UPDATE** After my review posted, I had the opportunity to discuss the issue in detail with Mr. Cooper (General Manager). I went in angry, but to my surprise he was very engaging and attentive to my concerns. He did his due diligence and reviewed previous maintenance records and determined that my complaint had merit. This impressed me. I appreciate the fact that my concerns were not only acknowledged, but fixed immediately! I ended up with a $0 bill and a changed mind. Even though this was an inconvenience, the way the General Manager handled me and the situation is noteworthy. I commend his effort and will definitely keep Sterling McCall in mind for my next vehicle!

I originally spoken to Rene over the phone and he was helpful. Upon arriving to the lot on 9/25 he was with a customer, so he paired me with Juan.I was exceptionally pleased with the service from Juan. I can be a bit much with this anxiety I admit but he handled it very well. I can not express enough how pleased I was with the service. Mr. Laundry the finance manager was also a pleasure to get me signed and out of there quickly. No one likes to be at a dealership all day or for hours on end for that matter. These gentlemen made this process not seem overly long and appear that my time was not valued and taken into account. Had an appointment for 8:30, arrived at 7:45. Cheeked out at 10:45. There for oil change and nail in tire. Did not know an oil change is $65 and to remove nail $15. Was not told I would be charged $15 to remove nail it was just done? Over priced on oil change... CHEVYS Dealerships charge $40.

I’m only giving this a 2 star because the finance guy I worked was amazing! Very friendly, funny and down to earth. He made the worst part of buying a car the best part. With that said, don’t expect too much from this place. I pretty chose the car myself, got a random salesman and gave him the same. He didn’t have to work for it at all. Well, I guess he had to keep making excuses why the car wasn’t ready, so maybe he was a bit busy. Again, I did all my homework and went in knowing what car I wanted. The salesman lied when he told me the windows were tinted, they weren’t. He said he may have 2 key fobs, and gave me one that looked like a teenagers cell phone. Cracked all over. I wish I would’ve never signed the paperwork, but that’s what I get for being desperate. I needed a car ASAP and he took advantage of that. I wouldn’t recommend.

I thought it odd that the cabin air filter wasn’t flagged for replacement since it hasn’t been replaced in some time so I had the inclination to check the filter for myself. The filter looked terrible! I went ahead and checked the engine air filter and found it in fair shape but it could’ve been cleaned with an air nozzle or suggested to be replaced.Im very disappointed that a technician says he checked something and states it was fine when in reality he didnt check it and it was in very poor shape. The local cheap price express lube does a better job than this!

I was referred to Ramon and thank God he has given me soo much peace of mind! Sterling McCall is lucky to have people like him there. Real stand up guy very respectful and true to his word. I can be a real pain and ask a lot of questions or let my anxiety make me panic but he is very patient and knows how to explain everything so I can better understand. Customer service was great but couldve performed a better diagnostic test. A/C Blower was replaced but failed to find problems with transmission that I was experiencing. Brought it to another nearby dealership and the issue was found immediately. Including jerks, shudders, hard downshifts and metal in dipstick.

From start to finish, we could not have been happier. We drove nearly 2 hours to the Sterling McCall dealership. We had only spoken with Keith Mack over the phone regarding the truck that was in inventory. He answer all our questions and stayed in touch with us prior to us traveling into Houston. He was very helpful through the whole process. He knew the vehicle and answered all our questions about it. He listened to our concerns and acted upon them. He was always courteous and professional. If he didnt know the answer to some of our questions, he brought in the correct person to assist.He gave us a tour of the facility so we were familiar with where Service was as well as the Parts Department.Finance was very thorough and professional as well. They, in my opinion, went above and beyond to help us make all the arrangements so that we could drive the truck home that day.Keith absolutely made the purchase of the GMC truck a pleasure and we have already recommended him to friends in the Houston area. Because of Keith, as well as the other individuals we dealt with, we will go back to Sterling McCall in the future.

These people have no customer service skills and they catch attitudes when they mess up. Its not hard to let a customer know what they may be up against before they bring their vehicle to you. But no these people let you bring your car tell you youre covered then hit you with labor charges. And why is it $88 to install a battery that doesnt take that much man power or a genius to do. I will be calling corporate.

I would not come here again if I had the choice. My car reeked of cigarettes when I got it back from someone smoking in it or smoking right before they drove it. Someone unplugged my dashcam - probably the guy that drove it to the back before it was serviced because there was footage of it being driven back but nothing after that and I had to plug it back in when I got my car back. They checked the sensor on one of my tires and now the sensor doesn’t read any of the tires anymore, when I brought it in it was only not reading one tire. Paid for the service on my car to only find out afterward, thanks to speaking with my grandma that the service should have been covered under warranty. I had to reach out to get my refund because no one caught the error. They did provide a complimentary uber for me to get home since I had to leave my car longer than expected so that was the only good part.

At first I was disappointed because I have having major A/C issues and it was going to cost an arm and leg to fix and they kept adding more and more to what needed repairs. “Process of elimination” blah blah blah…. Then someone called me from the dealership and asked to buy my SUV from me. I drove up there to see what they could do and that when I met Eugene Martin. This man turned out to be a total blessing! He was able to help me trade in my old SUV and I left with a brand new 2021 fully loaded Terrain! I am completely satisfied literally Eugene saved the day and put out a major firestorm! I highly recommend. Overall I’m satisfied with how the dealership treated me and was able to take care of me with a bad situation on hand. Great job guys

I didn’t quite like the way my billing was handled, I didn’t quite understand what repairs were covered by warranty, I called the company today and they said all repairs are covered except though. Initially I scheduled with Ramon and he explains quite well. My out of pocket went from $200 to almost a $1000.

I came in to get my screen fixed behind my head rest of my Yukon Denali that I just purchased. The service man was bad with info that I needed. Sent my parts department just for the parts department to send me back to him. Parts said they needed the serial number off the back of the tv so they could order the right one. I told the service man what they said and the first thing he said was we ain’t doing that unless you getting it fixed. I said why do you think I’m here. Overall terrible experience if I new the service department was this bad I wouldn’t have even bought my vehicle from here

Absolutely the worst buying experience I have ever had! Not sure what the issue is but as a person that manages employees myself my opinion is in management or lack of!! We experienced multiple departments at this dealership and there is zero communication between anyone and it seems like no one truly knows what is going on and again that falls back on management!! When I look back at all of the reviews I notice that every positive review gets a specific response but all the negative ones get a cookie cutter response so if that is the type of response I will be getting don’t waste your time!!

My experience with the service department was horrible. My advisor Marcus had very poor customer service . From the time I dropped my vehicle off on August 23rd I wasn’t even greeted properly. I advised Marcus that my check engine light was on and that I also needed a tire replaced due to hazard on road . I was asked to drop my car off and there was no time frame on when I receive my car back . Marcus didn’t even offer a loaner vehicle, I had to go to my car sales rep to get a loaner vehicle. I didn’t receive my 2021 Envision until September 17th almost a month later . I had to continuously contact Marcus for an update on my vehicle, on Sept.7th I lost patience without any answers on when I would receive my vehicle back and asked Marcus for a Managers information his response was “Why, just so they can hear your grievances”. Very unprofessional. After finally picking my vehicle up on the 17th I drove off and my steering wheel was crooked to the right as if the car needed an alignment. I immediately returned to notify Marcus, he then told me I would have to wait another 3 hours after waiting almost a month to receive my car . I was told all of that would be checked while my car was in the shop. I had to speak with supervisor Alvin in order the get my car taken care of. I will not be recommending your service department to anyone if this is how u treat paying customers. Good customer service goes a long way. 1 star from me and that’s being generous.

Started off all wrong. I made an appointment for 8am to be met by a very unfriendly service advisor by the name of Marcus who immediately tells me it will be $160 to diagnose the key and lock signal that was on my dashboard. He was rude, uninformed and commenced to tell me they were short staffed and there was a long line of cars that needed to be checked in. I ask for the manager. Given a different service advisor who was very courteous and kept me informed of the status that was needed for my vehicle every step of the way. My issue was the poor customer service that was displayed by Marcus and being provided bad information. If Marcus would have been paying attention he would have understood that the reason why the key lock icon displayed was because of the low voltage due to a faulty battery which was still under warranty. Dont be so quick to rattle off misinformation. He really needs some customer service training. I am truly disappointed in the way I was treated by Marcus.

I had to fight aggressively for a good deal on price (junk fees included), financing (unjustified APR that I rejected), and my trade credit (they tried to hide trying to keep the money with creative math). I had to fight for each of those individually at each step. The lack of transparency is not unique to Sterling McCall; it is endemic of a larger problem in the auto business. Until that is resolved and obtaining a fair price becomes a much smaller part of the purchase discussion, few car dealerships deserve excellent scores in reviews for purchase transactions. The GMC Acadia Denali is a great car, and Im very satisfied with it.

I spent 3 hours waiting for them to do an oil change and tire rotation. I made an appointment which is supposed to place your car before walk ins. I was first in line and they check 2 cars that came in after me and then decided to check to see if I had been helped. They has a serious turn over rate in the service department. Dont take your care here for service. I know I wont be going back. They have lost me as a customer.

I recently moved from Virginia and and I chose this place for my car service and and they did a wheel alignment which is not needed. I asked them what are the readings, of how much the wheel alignment is off by? But they couldnt provide me any details. they charged me around $230 for both oil change and wheel alinement.I know that no wheel alignment is done because, when I dropped my car at 10am i was informed that there is a wait time and it takes atleast 3 hours but at 11 am I received a text saying my car is ready. Ill leave it to your imagination on what could have been done in one hour.So I would suggest that without any knowledge dont blindly trust the reps. Theyre are just stealing you.

I bought a car from this location 2 years ago and recently got offer from Buick staff by name Amy to sell this car back to them.It’s been almost a month and a week and it has taken them for ever to pay off my car leaving me with late fees, I have called and called and even had to go there today to speak to their manager mr sree and they keep telling me series of lies and stories at first they said they sent the check out on the 2nd later they said they voided that check and sent it out on the 14th now I am getting a message saying the check was just sent out today. This is the worst place ever.. Amy needs to be fired for doing a terrible job . This place is a disaster I am going to be taking legal actions if I get a bad credit for a car I sold over a month ago. Please do not come here do not ever do business with this terrible people. This whole experience has beeen frustrating

We bought a 2017 certified pre-owned Enclave back in June from Sterling McCall. We had difficulty with the sale, as the sales rep was not in the office the day we were ready to pay for and take ownership of the vehicle, despite having previously discussed the date with the sales rep. We had originally negotiated to have the Enclave delivered, but they apparently couldnt make arrangements to have it delivered within a reasonable amount of time, forcing us to drive across Houston to pick it up in person.At the time, the sales rep implored us to provide a good rating, because it would significantly ding the sales reps compensation if we didnt. So, even though I wasnt particularly impressed with the service, I went ahead and did.Move forward to August 25th and we still havent received our permanent plates and our temporary plat expired on August 21st. I should have called them earlier, but didnt. Today, I did and found out that they got the plates back in July. They claimed they didnt send them to me because my phone number wasnt working -- the same number I was calling them on. I had no voicemail from them, no text from them, and no email from them; even though they had all this contact information readily available to them and they had repeatedly used all three means when I was purchasing the vehicle. Then they offered to send the plates in a few days.I told them that the least they could do would be to courier the plates to me or send them overnight. Also, the customer service rep got testy with me because I wasnt pleasant enough.Im not confident that theyll get the plates sent out tonight.

I purchased a brand new 2020 GMC Acadia about 1 year ago. It sputtered out with about 50 miles on the odometer so it spent about a week I. The shop.Then the locks failed and locked us out. While they saw what the problem was, plus video evidence, they couldnt figure it out and kept it for almost 2 weeks.The manager offered to help which was shorthand for taking the vehicle back for $10k less than what I paid to sell me another car with about $50 extra discount for my troubles.Almost 1 year later to the day, the tire pressure is low. I fill up the tire to find out that the pressure sensors are backwards - and on BOTH sides. The service manager politely turns me away and asks me to go elsewhere.Keep it classy Sterling McCall! Avoid this place at all costs!!!

Not happy at all with the customer service. Marcus just kept saying there was nothing wrong witht the truck without any explanation until asked to speak to the mechanic. Truck has less than 30k and only explanation was the eld device set off all the check engine lights. I need an explanation as to why. We been using it on the other trucks they say it is because the truck has too new of a system detector.

I have been a customer of Sterling McCalls for sixteen years. I had become good friends with my service advisor (Gregorio) and was saddened when he said goodbye. The first time I needed service after he left I met a new service advisor. Only a couple of months later I had yet another new service advisor. Again, yesterday when I was there for my appointment I met still another.Fortunately he was very pleasant and patient when I asked what was going on and after he listened to me whine he did everything he could to speed up the waiting time for my servicing. I told him I really hope that the next time I need to go to Sterling McCalls he will be there. I have always been pleased with the service and especially with the.honesty of the staff. Attention to detail I have noticed have begun to slide downwards.On a previous visit, an alignment wasn’t performed, until I asked for the alignment spec’s at checkout..,and they had to bring my car back in for the alignment...which if I had not questioned, would have paid for service—not performed.On this visit, missing bolts and my positive charge cover was not put back, and coolant wasn’t added to fill line level.Not to mention work performed that was not authorized by me...although I was not charged for the labor, it made the cost exceed what I was prepared to pay.As you can see, it have become a increasingly departure from the service that was expected, and put doubts in my mine, if this type of service have become the norm...if so I will not continue to be a loyal customer, but begin to look for excellent service elsewhere.

This place I went through to get my truck was fast quick and efficient and the guy I dealt with Rolando was awesome and was able to work with my schedule and help me out in order to help me get this truck I wanted and it didnt take long. Sam was a fantastic help and she was very knowledgeable on the vehicle she was selling. Was told that tires were on 7/32 when in fact was on 2/32.. do not trust your service department and have filed a complaint regarding this..UPDATE:Was contacted by Kimono Cooper regarding the issue on 8/27/2021 and said he would give me call no later than 8/30/2021 after he speaks with his technicians about what happened. If you would like to get ripped off this is the place for you! Started my deal with a purchase price of $56,455 with no purchase allowance of $2500 as said online subtracted, then $695 for resistall plus $1495 for pro package then $2995 for lifetime clear bra ($5185 for useless dealer add ons) for a total $61649 for a truck that has a MSRP of $56,455 that should have been discounted to $53995 oh it gets way worse if that wasn’t a complete rip off to begin with. My 2016 corvette that has a rough trade in value of $43500 and a average trade in value of 45400 they offered me $37500 so at bare minimum lowballed me $6000!!! invoice pricing to purchase price is another approximate $10,000, so now we are at $16,000 but wait there is more let’s not forget about dealer hold back of approximately $1600 so $20,100 dealer profit is the best this dealership could do! After wasting 4 1/2 hours of my time. The manger told me that he wished me the best of luck. Probably thinking he could call me back, nope number was immediately blocked. What a complete rip off! Stay Away! Stay far far away! I have never in my life felt so insulted and disrespected. I know a thing or two about buying vehicles, just think what would happen if they knew you knew nothing and you trusted these crooks!

My service advisor is Marcus and he is great. There was a variety of things that needed to be done to my car and he made sure that everything was taken care of. He offered me a loaner car but because I am morbidly obese, I couldnt fit into the first car. He tried again and was able to give me a loaner car that I could fit in comfortably. I appreciated that. I appreciated his compassion for me. Also, when I picked up my car, I believe they detailed the inside during the car wash. It was extremely clean. Thanks again for the professionalism and extra touch.

As I did had to return to work, and the dealership offers complimentary uber for drop off and pick up! Once I returned back to the dealership my car was ready to go!
