Had such an amazing time with these ladies and was so excited when I thought Id found my dress at Sweet Romance Bridal after two appointments with them. It was a pretty stressful weekend to be honest and Brenda was so wonderful at calming me down and bringing things back to earth. It would have been a 5-Star experience and then some, but after being ready to say Yes to the Dress, I was given the pricing which was clearly way over my stated budget. Brenda said shed talked to Leslie and couldnt do more than a small discount that would have still been really high for me since my budget was supposed to also include alterations. I asked Brenda if she could try to talk to her again about working with me just a bit more, and to keep in mind I should not have been allowed to try on a dress so over budget without a discussion first. She said shed try and let me know and I really hoped to hear back but I never did. I wound up going somewhere else the next day, still hoping for a call, and since I never got one, I said yes to another dress that I didnt love and ultimately will be returning - so Im back to square 1.I hope it was just a miscommunication, but really I am still just heartbroken that there was no follow up. They had really seemed to care about us and their customers so this was just so baffling. Out of the four different bridal shops we visited over the weekend, Leslie and Brenda truly seemed to be the most genuine and caring consultants we encountered, and the experience we had at the Lounge with our bridal party (up until the end) really was amazing. I just wish it would have ended differently.

This was by far my favorite dress shopping experience (out of 9 shops in the Houston area). I loved the bridal lounge, it was cozy, more personal, and so much fun. All of the dresses are nicely displayed and there is a great selection of styles. Most of the other stores I went to had only one or two style types. Sweet Romance has beautifully selected gowns for everyone. They were all different, but the best of whichever style the dress was. Leslie was amazing at figuring out the right touches to make the dress custom for me. After two long days of trying on dresses, Leslie waited for me at the shop after hours so that I could try on the dress one last time to make sure it was the one. All of the prices are extremely reasonable, and I ended up buying a dress significantly under my budget. Many of the dresses I looked at elsewhere were clearly lower in quality, but more expensive. The gowns here have flawless, gorgeous detail and fabric, which is clearly of top-notch quality Plus, the arrival time of the dress was much shorter than all of the other places I went. Ill get it in about 4 months without rushing the gown. She was able to have them shorten the length while making it so that alterations will be minimal. The customer service here is unmatched. It was so refreshing to feel like I was trying on dresses with an old friend instead of feeling like someone was just trying to make a sale. I would recommend this as a first stop to anyone looking for a wedding dress--you wont have to make another stop.

I have been to four other bridal salons in my search for a dress, and this store by far takes the cake! Leslie was an AMAZING help, she made sure my mother and I had a great experience. I had gone to this store on Monday, picked a couple dresses I liked and wanted to come back and try on again the following Friday, and Leslie helped show me what I can expect from the dresses once they arrived in my size if I were to choose them. The lounge has a great selection of different kinds of dresses, that are surprisingly priced. I thought Id be spending at least $1,500 for a nice dress, but I was shocked when she told me the price of the dress I liked best, and I knew it was the one! So if youre looking for a bridal salon that has very classy, country or chic dresses for amazing prices, this is your place. (Ill add photos after my wedding)
