I cannot thank Mias Bridal enough for making this the best experience I could ask for. They were the first bridal shop I went to and absolutely the best. Leslie and Amanda made me feel like I was their only bride and got a good feel for my style, but were not pushy at all. The store is very elegant but comfortable! I purchased a dress, and then the next day I realized I wanted the a different dress that I had tried on. Amanda (the store owner) was so understanding and worked with me and the designer to make sure I could change my order and get my dream dress! They even helped me customize the dress. They made it seem effortless and accommodated to what I needed. I know other girls that have gone here and have all had the same experience.

Mia was my second stop when shopping for my wedding dress and was the BEST experience. Understanding the circumstances would be different from normal with COVID, I was still able to be accompanied by my mom, sister, and future mother-in-law - and had the whole place to ourselves! The owner - Amanda - assisted us on our visit, and it was the most wonderful experience. While I had an idea of what I was looking for, Amanda was able to bring that to life! The dress options were plentiful, and the customized service really put things over the top. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Mia as my first and only stop - knowing they would provide the best experience for such a big day!

I am glad I DID NOT BUY from here today. What was meant to be a fun and amazing experience turned out to be an awful time. I had booked an appointment online and they did not see my name. The store was dead... yet the sales lady did not take care of us. I was really close on picking a dress today, but her attitude ruined my experience. She did not bother getting to know anything about me. She never brought a dress that fit what I wanted, we did all the work. Did not feel welcomed. I would understand if it was a busy day, but it was empty. Worst customer service. If you don’t want to sale and work with brides, find a different job.

This was a wonderful shop and I had the best experience- not to mention I said yes to the dress!! Rachel was absolutely amazing- she wasnt just in the background pulling gowns-she was apart of the whole experience, helping me to explore different styles and options (they have a huge selection), listening to my preferences while still helping me to venture out of my comfort zone, and while working WELL within my budget never making me feel pressured to spend more. My dress was a build your own type gown where every piece could be added or altered (skirt, top, sleeves etc). Rachel added the final touch with an off the shoulder sleeve- when I stood in front of the mirror I literally starting bawling and Rachel was right there celebrating with me. They even busted out the celebratory champagne!! I couldnt have had a better experience. Rachel also followed up with me several times to let me know my dress had come in, that it had shipped and even followed up after my wedding. This is the kind of customer service a bridal shop should have for a brides special day.

Mia Bridal was the second store I went to and I bought my dress right away! The store was so nice and the girls helping me were so kind! I bought my dress off the rack and brought it home that day. Even in the midst of Covid-19 restrictions, shopping here felt clean, safe and fun! My stylist Lesley was incredibly helpful! She did everything in her capacity to help me feel cared for and excited! Definitely ask for Lesley.

The girls were super sweet and very helpful! They were willing to make my experience memorable and enjoyable during the thick of the COVID pandemic.

Had such a great experience at Mia Bridal Couture. They were friendly and very helpful in finding the right dress. The ambiance of the place was just what you want when going shopping for gowns. I was on a time crunch for picking a dress for my wedding and they made the process completely stress free. They were able to work with me with the gowns they had on the floor and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience.

Highly Recommend! This was my 3rd appointment. Had looked at a couple places in the Austin area without success and decided to look in Houston. This place came recommended by a friend of mine. They had a great selection of dresses at several different price points. I went WAY over my appointment time (spent almost an hour in my favorite dress there) and was never rushed/felt pressured to buy a dress. I found a dress I loved but had booked more appointments for the weekend, so I wanted to keep looking to be sure, however I ended up coming back the next week because I couldn’t quit thinking about that dress! Sarah was great, super patient! Even helped me find a veil that matched perfectly! If you are looking for a wedding dress in the Houston area, would definitely recommend this place!

Wow! This store is absolutely stunning. The dresses are gorgeous and the staff is incredibly helpful. Rachel is the type of consultant who really makes you feel comfortable and enjoy the bridal experience. Whether you walk in for accessories or your gown Rachel makes you feel important and really values every bride! This place has been recommended by tons of fellow bride friends who have said that the staff at Mia makes this a flawless experience from the moment you walk in to find your dream dress to the moment you pick it up for your big day!

This place is wonderful! This was the second place of three I planned on visiting and after here, I cancelled the third! Tina was the best and so helpful when it came to styles of dress and staying within budget! She helped me find some great options I would never think of. All of the ladies were so sweet and made this experience EXTRA special. I said YES to the dress here (with a glass of champagne too!)

Some good things: I came here about 30 min early to browse, which they allowed. The lady in the front was quite helpful as my consultant was still busy with her current appointment. The store is cute and cozy and it wasnt awkward when my friend and I lounged around until my appointment time came around.The reason why I wanted to come here was partially for a specific designer which was listed on their website. However, they told me they dont carry her anymore and didnt apologize for their outdated website. They tried to build the dress I wanted by using a dress from the trunk show that weekend and adding some accessories. Though I did like the dress, it still wasnt the same dress as the one I envisioned, and I wasnt coming in to throw a couple thousand at them on a dress I had just discovered that day.When I told my consultant Sarah that I have to sit on it for at least a month, she said oooh in a weirded-out tone. So I calmly explained that Im a very indecisive person in general to which she replied is this how you were with the engagement? To which I just chuckled because I wasnt sure exactly what she said and didnt think she would actually say that if she wants me to purchase a gown at this store. (My friend later told me that I did not hear wrong.) She even asked me if I had other appointments that day and seemed turned off when I said I did. Later, she gave me a card with the cost of the dress that day vs. if I were to buy the dress at a later date ($1100 difference), which didnt make it any easier on me, as I was already pretty upset before that point. I asked if I could call them later if I do want the dress, and she said that since their last appointment for that day ends at 3:30pm, I only have until 3:30pm to call them. I almost bought the dress, but my reasonable friend convinced me not to because I had a whopping 1 year and 2 months before my wedding and had been to 2 bridal stores, which Mia Bridal Couture was well aware of.In summary, they are pushy and want to make a sale, whether you are absolutely sure you want the gown or not. I felt extremely pressured and Im unsure why they have so many good reviews. I ended up getting my gown at Joan Pillow, where I had the complete opposite experience of the one at Mia.

Mia bridal was such a wonderful experience for me as a bride to purchase my dress. They have a selection of dresses that most places do not carry, which is nice. When I called to make the appointment the lady was extremely nice and professional and asked why styles of dresses I was interested in and also asked my budget. She did let me know that their dresses start outside of my budget, but really I appreciated that because you DO NOT want to fall in love with a dress you cant afford. for me it worked out fine because I really managed my budget well and had one for this is what I would prefer to buy at. and one for I will not spend more than X amount period. so it was fine. these ladies were very helpful and professional compared to other bridal stores, which was nice. you do need to be able to stand your ground - but that is going to be any place you go to look at dresses. they are in the business of selling dresses - their dresses, so of course they are going to try to talk you into it. I did not feel overly pressured at all to shop with these ladies, and I think that says a lot.

I can’t say enough good things about Mia Bridal! I did not expect to have so much trouble deciding on a dress. My style differed from my moms preferences and it made the process more difficult. Brittany and Sarah at Mia bridal were so sweet, helpful, understanding, and knowledgeable! The dress selection is wonderful as well. I would recommend Mia Bridal to all future brides!

Very cute shop! Was my first appointment, I had a very tight budget and they found beautiful dresses in the style I wanted to fit my price range. I didnt end up getting a dress from here but it wasnt due to a bad experience or lack of dresses but just simply because I found something elsewhere that I fell in love with the moment I put it on. Wonderful people! If you ever get the chance to work with anyone at this shop choose Lina she was wonderful.

Looking for a dress here was really fun, and the selection of gowns are BEAUTIFUL. Although its not that large of a store, there was a wide selection to choose from, and even a fairly large sample section. Melanie, the consultant working with me, was very helpful in suggesting gowns to try on but also listened well to what I loved or hated about each dress. We had a slight misunderstanding about pricing when I ordered my dress, but Melanie and the store manager were quick to both address and correct it.

I loved my experience there! In the process of expanding my horizon on dress finding, Mia has been my favorite. Sarah made me feel so beautiful and she was helpful and patient. Out of all bridal so far, I feel at home there. The quality of my visit was amazing and comforting.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to purchase my gown. Melanie was so patient with me, and supported me through the whole process. I cannot possibly say enough wonderful things about this boutique, my consultant, or my experience. The girls here are wonderful, and they helped me put together a look I know will be perfect!

I had an appointment at Mia Bridal Houston in mid September and heard great things so I was very excited. I was flying in from Barcelona, Spain, where I live permanently, that weekend and this would be one of my first wedding dress trying experiences.The place is really cozy, the dresses are beautiful, full of lace and bling but definitely NOT for the modern bride, like me. I just couldnt find anything that clicked with me. My experience with the consultant ( I wont say her name because I wont be that person and will just assume she was having a bad day) was not that great. Although she was semi- knowledgeable, I she think she was new to the bridal scene because she definitely did not know how to handle the appointment and was extremely pushy with every single dress I tried. She barely gave me the time to think about each dress before asking how I felt and if it was the one or not. I have been working in sales all my professional life and she was way too obvious trying to close me on the spot with zero empathy. The worse was seeing my family seeing me uncomfortable and it was just not a fun experience.One thing that I wont forget was how much she kept looking at her watch, every 5 minutes, as if she was in a hurry to get somewhere.At the end of the appointment we asked her to write on a card what the dress reference was and she couldnt even do that. She just wrote ¨ crop top and skirt¨... I mean come on girl, you have tons of crop tops and skirts in your shop. Very careless attitude. It was the second place that day for dress trying and I felt so discouraged after that appointment.If you are looking for more knowledgeable, less pushy staff and a more FUN appointment, I would suggest you go elsewhere.

Amazing place!! Our consultant was Ashley and she was fantastic. We were a little late but they were gracious about it. Ashley told us to pick out any of the dresses that caught our eye and even gave input on ones we should skip over. Great selection and great designers! No high sales pressure or focus on add ons instead of the bride to be. Overall it was a great experience and we will be coming back! Cons: small space and we passed it up on the street but thats it!

STAY FAR AND AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!My fiance specifically wanted a white dress and the dress shipped was ivory. The owner JILL NELSON instead of calling emailed us stating that all sales are final and that my fiance has to wear a dress that she did not order. This place does not care about your special day. They are top notch sharks!!Please shop elsewhere as the sales people are pushy and will sell you anything to make their commission.

Was very disappointed with the service provided by this establishment. The woman “helping” us was very unwelcoming. She didn’t bother to get to know the bride; didn’t ask questions about what she wanted, she barley spoke to us. Overall she made the entire experience very awkward. We were in and out in 30 minutes.

They gave me the best service out of all the bridal shops. They really made dress buying about the excitement of the moment and less about their sale. Other shops felt like car dealerships with there high pressure sale techniques.

A SEVERE WORD OF CAUTION for any bride considering Mia Bridal Couture. We are disgusted/appalled with their lack of knowledge, judgment and professionalism. I purchased a signature designer wedding dress from a trunk show and the owner measured me herself. I did not have a corset/bra and asked about needing one. She replied, You do not need a bra with this dress because it has boning already. The day of our wedding I wore the dress for 30 minutes when it began to sag and 45 minutes later it would not hold up. I spent our ENTIRE cocktail hour in a hotel room trying to hold the dress up. The only temporary solution was to wear a jacket on backwards! Before we cut the cake I had to change into a dress from Target that one of my bridesmaids brought. Mia Bridal did not know how to respond when I later called. I asked the owner What have you done in this case before? she replied, I have no idea what to do, this never happened to me before. We showed Mia Bridal our wedding photos and asked for financial compensation. We subsequently received a formal letter through email stating “All Sales Final”. The owner would not speak to us again, so we tried contacting the co-owner (who primarily works at Brickhouse Bridal). The co-owner never directly deals with brides! We hired an attorney who sent Mia Bridal a settlement letter. Mia Bridal responded with a similar answer. We stopped legal proceedings due to financial strain and ultimately received NO refund. Mia Bridal was more concerned with monetary profits than compensating a nightmare-wedding dress scenario due to the owner’s lack of knowledge, judgment and professionalism.

Extremely pushy staff. Im an analytical person, and somehow I got pushed into buying a dress I didnt want. I called the store back within an hour on a Saturday after buying it, and they LIED and said sorry no refunds we already submitted your order. They eventually let me choose another dress in the store or said I would loose my deposit. Im only writing a review because I recently spoke to an ex-staff member and she said my story is similar to so many brides that go here and confirmed the store was lying when they stated that they submitted my order that day (it was Saturday!). They do have a good selection of dresses, but be firm and carefully think before purchasing anything and dont let the sales associates talk you into anything!!! I was also told they mark up the prices of their lace 2-3 times than other stores if you need to buy extra. I love everything about my wedding except my dress, dont let that happen to you!

Went to Mias with my sister to shop for her dress. After the consultation and price discussion with melanie we looked around and notice her talking with her coworker and from their faces and body language we could tell something was off. We stilled looked for dresses and melanie only allowed her to try on 4 dresses. As we tried on dresses she would only ask do you like it? She wouldnt ask what dont you like about it or make suggestions. It seemed she wasnt taking the appointment seriously. We found a dress we liked but we have been to another bridal shop earlier that day and found another dress we really liked. So my sister was unsure about her decision. Then melanie asked why are you scared? This really turned us off.Then she started to get pushy and wanted my sister to make a decision on the spot. She was really pushy and only cared about making a sale. Would definitely not recommend shopping here

I am beyond grateful for Sarah and Mia Bridal Coture! Long story short - My wedding is a week away and I didn’t have a dress that fit, you can imagine my stress. She worked a miracle and helped me find my dream wedding dress AND helped me put together the whole look- Viel, headpiece, jewelery and all. It was a one stop shop with so many beautiful dresses in their inventory! I also liked how Sarah gave me the space to look and pick out some on my own and she added great suggestions based off of what I was telling her. I’m a super, super picky bride and like to take my time so this was a big plus for me. I had been to a few other bridal shops were they didn’t really give me the option to look, instead they insisted on pulling dresses for me and i felt like it wasn’t productive because as i said, I’m hella picky. Overall my experience at Mia Bridal Couture was great! I wish I had gone here my first round of wedding dress shopping, they even offered champagne and keep a fun atmosphere!

I went to Mia Bridal because I found a Judd Wadell and fell in love with it. Jill met me at the door and was so sweet and excited to help. She pulled the dress for me but I asked her to pull some that she thought would look good on me also. I put on the Wadell and it was just as beautiful as I had imagined, but then I put on Jills pick (Christos, Joy) and I started to cry! I knew right then that was the dress for me!! Thank you Mia Bridal and Jill for being so helpful and finding my perfect wedding dress!!!!

I came to Mia Bridal Couture with my MOH just for fun. I completely fell in love with the first dress I tried on (its ALYNE BY RITA VINIERIS), and ended up bringing my mom back to purchase the dress. As in love with the dress as I was, the lovely ladies who work at Mia Bridal completely sold me on the experience. From the moment we walked in, they were so sweet and accommodating. They did a beautiful job making us feel super welcome. They have a gorgeous selection of dresses for every price range, and will walk you through every step of the process with grace. I recently brought my entire entourage (mom, MIL, MOHs, bridesmaids) back with me to pick up my dress. We were greeted with glasses of rose, smiling attendants who did everything from help me into my dress to help me put on my mother-in-laws challenging veil. From the first time I walked in, they gave me the full bridal treatment and did an excellent job of making sure my experience choosing my gown was unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this bridal boutique to any and every bride I know.Thank you Mia Bridal Couture! You guys are fantastic!
