Glacier Water is owned by Primo Water and it is very apparent that they are completely unreliable. Whenever one of their refill stations go down it takes over a week or longer for them to be fixed. When Houston was hit by the severe winter storm, over 7 million people were without power and water became a problem because of several watermain breakages forced the entire city to have to boil their water for days after water was restored. And where was Glacier/Primo water? Nowhere because not one single refill stations was available even 5 days after the boil notice was lifted. They are so badly run that they missed out on millions of sale from customers who needed to buy drinkable water. If you are using Glacier or Primo water as your primary source. you best find an alternative source because companies this badly run, their days are numbered.
Unbelievably inept maintenance. Starting about a year ago something happened to the maintenance staff that services all the Glacier Water refill stations all over Houston. It use to be once in a long while a refill station is out of order, but since then it had been nearly every month and at one Kroger refill station near me, the machine did not even last 5 day before it was out of order, again It was broken on Wednesday, fixed on following Tuesday, and broken, again, on Saturday. I can remember a couple of years ago, I was going to the refill station 3 times a week for nearly a year and never once was it down. Not anymore.
EVERY time I go to a Kroger to use one of the dispensers, they are broke down and I cant get water. Sometimes, I go to several Krogers one after the other in the same day and ALL are broke down. Please have better maintainers for Houston area!
It is broken. Never use $1 bills. It will eat your dollar bills and wont give you anything back or show credit on it. Use coins or you will end up having an empty pocket and no water.
