Best Judaica store in Texas amazing customer service

This was my first visit to Jumbo Judaica. My experience was absolutely wonderful, my sells provided was a lady named Sara. She very polite, courteous, and accommodating. She made me feel truly welcomed, especially in today’s climate. I am an African-American practicing Judaism, and Jumbo Judaica is my store for future purchases. Thank you Sara for reflecting “Adonai’s Spirit” you are truly an asset to this organization... Shalom !

Great selection of goodies

This store has managed to pack a large amount of items in such a small space. Unfortunately, the demand of Mezuzot for the holiday season was very low and I had to run a hard bargain with the store’s employees to receive one. I was told it was first come, first serve but was limited to purchase of only a mezuzah with no scroll. After much negotiation, a “off menu” proper mezuzah was offered to me. If I had not been persistent, I would have been left with no mezuzah and no way to bless my new home.Additionally, I’m a not a tradition Jew-I am a seeker of knowledge and truth. I had many questions and Sara seemed to be annoyed with my presence. Thankfully, Shoshana was there to balance the energy and took the time to answer and guide me in the right direction in my journey-with much wisdom and kindness. Had it not been for the more welcoming and accepting countenance of Shoshana, surely that would have been my first and last visit. Unlike the review below from a fellow person of African descent, I did not feel the same “welcome” but did receive answers. So I guess, for that alone, the store met its purposeAll in all, I’m not there for friends, but for business. I will attribute my first visit’s energy to arriving at the store very close to closing time and during a hectic holiday season. I hope to leave a 5 star review for my next visit.

Always what I need and great selections!

Store has a lot of nice things, however the people who work there are not very friendly or give the impression that you are not welcome. Perhaps I could be wrong, but that was the feeling I got when I checked on something. I may try online or elsewhere and maybe will find something better. Id rather make the drive to Dallas than go back here again. Just saying.

Excellent book/ Judaica store. Ive been looking for a specific book prayers book in Portuguese for the longest time... even though they didnt have it in store, they researched for it for a couple of weeks on my behalf, found it and order it for me! 5 star service. I would definitely buy there again.
