I’ve gone to GRTC a few times now (and referred others as well) to specifically see Julia for all of my piercing needs! She’s incredibly detail oriented, honest, and keeps a spotless work space. She’s also super sweet and will answer any questions you have and talk through your options thoroughly.Due to health issues I have had some piercing complications (immune reactions) that weren’t related at all to the jewelry or service provided but Julia has helped me troubleshoot every step of the way. She’s also gone as far as ordering me specialized jewelry for problem piercings and rush shipped them herself. She’s also helped me change jewelry for existing piercings and custom anodized things for me as well. I very highly recommend her to anyone who looking into getting pierced whether for the first time or the fiftieth. Can’t wait for my current piercings to finish healing before I’m back for more!

Went to Juju yesterday for a jewelry change! She was very clean and professional and very knowledgeable about piercings and told me everything I needed to know for when I want to change my jewelry again! Even though the process hurt, she made sure I was comfortable the whole time and I am glad that I went to her because she’s so sweet and kind! Thank you again Juju!!

Booked two day session with Gabe. Last minute gifted second day to a friend, Gabe was super accommodating. Asked if anyone could collaborate with finishing my half sleeve as we flew from mass to Houston. Drew who is booked as well to who the hell knows when and just finished a scheduled appointment... was like hell ya to Gabe and hooked me up with an equally beautiful tattoo. Super chill, professional, sweet and caring staff... awesome experience !!!

These people are the nicest people i have met in my entire life! I got a double piercing, and the amount of knowledge they had was insane. Im a 14 year old and i almost never say this. If I were to ever get a tattoo or another piercing, i would come back here. 100/10 would recommend

I traveled from Washington D.C to Houston for the first time to get a portrait from Kelly and it was an awesome experience ! The shop was very clean and everyone was professional. Kelly was very patient when it came to my stencil location and was a perfectionist when it came to detail. I love my portrait and my girlfriend also got her nose pierced. I will definitely be scheduling another appointment with her she’s amazing !!

He and his business partner run the place like a well oiled machine and have very talented artists and piercer working with them. In short, Best place in Houston. Quality over quantity.

Friendly atmosphere and amazing tattoo work.

Cody pierced my ear in Houston and it was the best piercing experience I’ve had. He pierced my conch and helped me pick a jewelry that would fit with my other piercings nicely. He explained why my other previous piercings were not healing properly, and taught me what to do about it as well. 10/10 would reccomend getting a piercing done with him.

Walked in on the evening of Valentine’s Day, and they accommodated our tattoos even though it was pretty late! Very clean shop. They were very nice and answered all of my questions, and felt they genuinely wanted to answer them. I even made an appointment for a portrait wirh Kelly in April while waiting for my artist to finish up a tattoo. My artist was very nice and paid a lot of attention to detail. I think i read someone said bright, clean, and professional? I have been to brighter, cleaner, more professional places in Tijuana on a Saturday night back in the day!!So i went in to check it out, already have a considerable amount of tattoos and looking to get a larger piece. I walk in and its dark and some chick and dude are laying on a couch. I tell the guy im checking out some places and told him im looking to get some work done. He told me to look at the books and see what i like and walked away.So, maybe they just werent interested, who knows, but i wont be going back to this place.

Kelly is amazing! I got in touch with her through email and she quickly responded and set me up for a consultation appointment. The owners went over my idea and helped me tweak it to work with the placing I wanted and I trusted their advice. Kelly did an amazing portrait on me. Shes very talented and I couldnt be happier with my tattoo. For any future tattoos I would come back to this place. Everyone here seems really nice and professional

I got my piece done by Mr. Fredo, and he was awesome! He expanded on my idea and made it even better than I imagined. He was really professional and accommodating. I love my tattoo and cant wait to have him add to it.

Took an old friend here to get his ears pierced so he can stretch them himself. They were very informative and helpful, a little pricey but well wroth it.

I have roughly 20+ tattoos from different artists/shops around the world but I have 2 I got from here and they are sadly the worst ones I have. The people were all great and all but sadly the tattoos were just poorly done. Maybe it was the specific artists I had but not sure.

I had Beto do an amazing piece on my arm about 2 years back. Get compliments frequently about that single piece. Hes very good at interpreting how the ink will actually look once its complete.

Seriously my favorite shop in houston for both tattoos and piercings. Mike has done my 2 biggest and best pieces, great color work/traditional and dotwork pieces. And their friday the 13th flash is badass, Ive gotten two so far and Im 100% going to get more! Ive also gotten 3 piercings done there and theyve been nothing but wonderful, and great help when I lost my ball, not once but twice...

I will try my best to refrain from bashing this place too badly as I know that tattoo parlors and their employees have a bad rep so I guess I shouldve seen it coming. But, I want to start off by saying that I did not give this place 1 star because I did come to them in the past for a rook piercing on my ear and they gave me good, clean service and my piercing healed well with no problems. However, I attempted to get a tragus piercing from them the following year. I walked in and I was greeted kindly. The man that greeted me asked what I wanted to get done that day so I told him I wanted to get my tragus done. I clearly saw the same man that had pierced my rook sitting in a chair adjacent to him. The man on the counter looked at the one sitting on the chair, (which looked under the influence possibly of weed, by the way), he laughed, and then looked back at me and told me the piercer was not here today. I did not make a big deal out of it as I did not want to be that customer. So, I just left and went straight to another piercer (which did pierce me). Point is, I dont know if this was because of my demeanor -- I know I look younger than I actually am, or for another reason. Anyway, I felt the need to share my experience with piercings about this place. I dont know about their attitudes toward tattoos though, they might give good service when it comes to those but for piercings... Id say forget about it. Gold Rush Collective, I think that a tattoo/piercing parlors should feel like a welcoming place, and you should give fair service to all of your customers as they are the ones that keep your company going.Thank you for reading.

The shop is always clean and well maintained. It’s a positive and fun environement that is drama free so much so that you’d be comfortable bringing people with you without fear of them saying “Are you sure you want to get work done here?”I go to Kelly when I get work done at GRCT.When looking for a tattoo artist who had enough talent to actually make a portrait look like it transferred right off the reference photo and not like Adam Sandler in Little Nicky, Kelly was the obvious choice. After my first portrait with her It was evident she’s an artist to stick with, especially If you want a tattoo that you will be happy having on you forever and that people will not stop asking about. I literally have to haul her business cards with me because I get asked about my tattoos so much. She specializes is black and grey realism and consciously treats her work like fine art. I plan on getting cosmetic tattoos by her as well and feel comfortable enough for her to work her magic and not make me look like Mike Tyson by putting a tramp stamp on my face.

My husband and got tatts here...and the staff is amazing and very talented..reccomend it to anyone...check it out.

I went in on Saturday 12/20/14 and had a Custom Chinese Dragon that was done 100% free hand by Tattoo Artist Beto and sat for 6.5 hours. The shop itself has a decor that is all its own, your eyes cant help but dart across the walls back and forth. My tattoo artist was super laid back and very cool, he took the time to really understand what it is I wanted and made my tattoo unique. The entire staff was very friendly and made me feel right at home. I also found the prices here to be very reasonable in comparison to a lot of the other tattoo shops you tend to find along Westheimer Rd. The funny thing is, my artist and I were already discussing my next tattoo before he was even done with this one. I will definitely be going back for my next tattoo. I would recommend Last Laugh Tattoo Studio to anyone looking for a clean/sterile tattoo studio with a professional and friendly staff.

They suck. Last laugh is spot on because the joke is on you. Service and staff could care less about your satisfaction. Dont waste your time or money.

I honestly dont understand the negative reviews because I am very happy with my experience with Last Laugh. I heard about them while I was visiting Houston and decided to check them out. I ended up getting an AMAZING Koi tattoo by artist Beto. The studio is very clean and well light. The artists are friendly and willing to work with you. As far as people complaining about the price, this is something that is going to be on your body forever, and if you are really concerned about how much a permanent addition to your life will be then I dont think you really want it. You get what you pay for these days. If you are looking for a great place to get a great tattoo this is definitely the place to go. People rave over the tattoo I have and always want to know where I got it.

Setup an appointment with Cody Gibbs over 2 months ago (busy guy) his work on Instagram (tattoosbycodygibbs) convinced me to pull the trigger, and Im glad that i did. Shop is clean and these guys charge you only for the time youre sitting getting inked. I got a statue of an aztec god and Im getting compliments left and right and its not even done healing. 150 an hour and worth it, when it comes to tattoos you really get what you pay for. The other guys at the shop are a little less busy, but also carry an impressive resume of beautiful art.

Horrible experience! A friend and I went here and my husband.. My husbands tattoo was crooked. . My friends tattoo was spelt wrong!! They were all rude and could careless about customer satisfaction! ! I asked for a certain font and the guy who did my tattoo got really mad at me because he couldnt find the type of font I wanted on the computer.. so I asked him if he could free hand.. well he couldnt so that should have been my first sign he wasnt a true artist! Will never go back!!!

Facility was clean not to busy but we waited 15 minutes before a gone acknowledged us. We signed paper work for a piercing and after 30 minutes of just standing there we left.
