Needed to replace 2 axles and the whole suspension on my boat trailer and they walked me through the whole process had them custom built the next day and answered my questions when I called while installing. Very courteous and great customer service....

When I called various boat shops about repairs on my trailer many of them referred me to McClain trailers. They said it would reduce the downtime because McClain had all the parts on hand and if a boat so did the work, theyd have to order it all. Following their advice I went to McClain and got my trailer back in two weeks. They also listened to what I wanted fixed and offered multiple solutions letting me select the price I was comfortable with. I would recommend to anyone looking for work done in their trailer.

I went to McClain trailers to look at Spartan mowers and dealt with a guy named Anthony and let me tell you he took care of everything.Also I highly recommend Spartan mowers I love my machine Ive been using it for about a month month-and-a-half. So if you in need of a good mower or just simply a trailer deal with a guy named Anthony he will take care of you but Im sure the other employees will also.UPDATE.... 1/2021 LOVE THIS MOWER!!!

B....,The help was great getting the part I needed, but when I paid I realized that I had been charged $68 dollars more than the Item was marked on the shelf. Most of you have been to a parts house where they figure they can charge a unknown customer “LIST PRICE”... I questioned The parts associate but since I paid for it I was at a disadvantage to negotiate but you can be assured unless I absolutely have to go back there I will not. $262 price marked on shelf versus $331 charged on invoice is a huge markup that I will remember.

These guys are great for parts to rebuild your old boat trailer. I’ve been to their showroom to get parts several times, Martìn has been very helpful every time to walk the floor while he answers my questions. Their store is easily laid out to browse and find what you need. I also found that their website allows you buy and ship what you need online They even have a fully assembled aluminum trailer inside their store that displays how almost all of their products are used.

I went to there today. I drove 7 hours in total. I am here to tell you these people bent over backwards to make sure I was happy, and I was. I waited for the person I needed as he was helping someone else and could hear every one of the people behind the counter trying to do what they could to be helpful. When it was my turn, Anthony walked around the store, started grabbing parts and explaining why and what I would need to do (even though I already knew heh).. but he wanted to make sure I had EVERYthing to do it right, down to the nuts on the u-bolts... and that I went home knowing I would be able to get assistance even 3-4 hours away. These people worked hard to make me happy. That says it all to me.

Guys there were really helpful. The shop has a lot of stock, they had all the part I needed to rebuild a tandem axle trailer in the shop that day.Only thing was they only gave me 10 lug nuts when I needed 20, but it was busy and I should have double checked.

I own a Bennington pontoon boat. A McClain trailer came in the purchase. After several years of having the trailer, the center beam has been bowing. I have a lifted 4WD truck. I use to use a 4 inch drop hitch, because of this bending, I had to use a 2 inch flipped hitch. That is a 6 inch difference. The front of this boat would of ended up dragging on the road. It has now been repaired. The repair company could not believe there was not enough support. I called McClain trailers, they told me the trailer is out of warranty. They should of built a great trailer to start with.

I drove from Galveston and thought I had plenty of time to make it before closing. I got caught in bad weather and traffic and pulled up right as the gate was being locked to close. I told the guy locking the gate and he instructed me to drive through the back gate and he get me taken care of. I quickly got the part I needed to saved my trip out of town this weekend. Had to look at my receipt just now to see who the salesman was. Zane, thank you! Keep up the good work guys, I really appreciate yall not leaving me hanging and saving my trip.

Not pleased. Needed a 9 roller for my McClain trailer that is 2 years old. On my first trip they gave me a 10 and assured me it was the correct one. Went to return it today and was told they no longer carry, Only have 10 and 12. A 40 mile RT drive. A waste of time.

My goofy style fender brackets needed replacement. I was in town from NJ and stopped in to McClain Trailers today and Im so glad I did. Even 5 min before closing, they were courteous and very helpful. They have a wide range of parts and accessories in stock. They had precisely what I needed for a great price. McClain seemed to have good folks doing business the old fashioned way and treating their customers right.

Me and my brother in law just purchase two Spartan RZ 61 McClain Trailer was our Dealership here in Houston TX. Theygave us free delivery. My brother in law unit run great. But my unit was surging at idle. After drain out the gas in the tank,refill with fresh gas with Stabilizer on its. Cut my 10 Acre grass. The surging is better but still persist. I then remove the engine cover to inspect the Carburetor realize the Flywheel was having rust in its. I called Dealer and report what I found. They immediately contact Spartan Rep and realize this one must get expose to weather during transport and storage. They called me back within 30 minute and said they will sent me a new unit and pick this one up.I have read a lot complaints about other brand about their commitment to stand behind their products. and the dealer and manufacture blaming each other and left customer out in the cold. Not Spartan and My dealer. They stand behind their service and commitment. Thumb up thus far. Go Spartan. If you want a Spartan mower and in Houston go to McClain Trailer and ask for Robert. He will take care of you. their Manager is also awesome nice.

I never write online rewiews but the service I received at McClain was horrible. To be fair, The salesman was friendly, knowledge, and helpful. I had a custom built catamaran trailer build from them and the design of it was a complete disaster from the start. I gave them the opportunity to fix it and they did begrudgingly. During this process the service facility personnel were the rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with from any company. The trailer design is still a disaster and has damaged my boat on several occasions. I will NOT take it back to McClain for the final repairs necessary to fix it correctly. Never again.

Stay clear from this place. I have had nothing but problem with my 1 year old trailer. I have had to replace finders and light brackets because they do not balance their tires from the factory, and it just rattles them do death causing them to crack and snap on the road. I didnt know they do not balance them from the factory until I went to get parts, and they wouldnt even cover it. Once I found that they dont balance tires, I went to take them off to get balanced, and yes another problem. A stud broke because they tightened to tight, and now the lug nut is stuck on the stud spinning. I will never buy one again. If you get one, the first thing I would do is take the tires to get balanced. Horrible place, about to switch and get a coastline trailer even though this one is a year old.

I was told last week $60.00 for the roller assembly and when i got there today it was $80.00 and his reply was sorry they must have gave you the wrong price iv had 3 trailers that have came from yawl but today was the last time i will do business with yawl .

High quality trailer at a reasonable price!

These guys dont stand behind their product. Their trailers are poorly built the welds just started coming apart for the ties downs and the Bolster bracket that is welded to the frame seraded in half due to thin aluminum. I called to ask and work something out and the men who answered the phone both times were Jackasses. Poor customer service if there were zero stars i would put it.

Bought a new tandem axle custom aluminum trailer from them and paid extra for LED lights and stainless steel hardware and fasteners. Even though the boat it was being custom built for was a short 15 minute drive away, and out of the water, they refused to go even look at the boat or take any measurements directly and relied on me (staying in a motel waiting for the trailer) to do that for them and provide the photographs that they built from. The trailer got us home with the boat on it, and we have subsequently discovered that the axles were in the wrong place (now corrected at my expense), many bolts and nuts were either missing completely or not tight and many were not the stainless steel we paid extra for. The side lights were not LEDs and two of the bow supports they built had cracked welds. Worst of all, the surge disk brakes have never worked from day one due to them welding too close to a brake line and melting it closed so the brake fluid could not pass. We drove all the way from Texas back to Tennessee carrying a 4000 pound boat on a poorly balanced trailer with no brakes. My suggestion? Find a trailer builder who actually cares about their customers safety and you can trust to deliver what you paid for.
