Come here often! Drinks are affordable and the staff is very friendly. I love they have such a wide variety of beers including some I cannot find elsewhere (I love Belgian beers but are hard to find in many stores unless you go to a Belgian eatery in town).

This place is one of my absolute favorite places in Houston. There’s always good beer, and the food is fantastic. The servers/bartenders are all so much fun to talk to as well. It’s a very laid back to hang out at for a while. Highly recommend to any beer lovers, and highly recommend trying the food!

I truly enjoyed our evening here. The staff was great despite a block wide water outage, they were very helpful despite the limitations. Luckily within the hour city water was restored and we enjoyed a great time enjoying different beers great food and talking with the staff.

Well we could start with the service on arrival .... oh seat your selves I be with you in a min .... 5 min later the server shows up to finally pass out menus.... leaves again for a long stretch of time to finally take our drink order ....comes back with wrong drinks and then takes our food order ...server never took menus had to clear them off the table myself..... after 3 drinks later our food finally shows up.... made the wrong dish and then had to wait for the remake...once food arrive was highly disappointed and will strongly discourage anyone I know from coming here ... maybe just come for the beer and youll fine

This place is fantastic. Amazing beer selection with flights available so you can try as many as you want. They have N64 in the back with a solid game collection. And the food is much better than the average bar. Ill definitely be back

Had the Brisket melt with seafood fries. The brisket was very rich and the Korean BBQ brisket was tender and juicy. The texas toast is a wonderful touch which absorbs the the sauce. The seafood fries are sublime with crab and shrimp and should not be missed

The drink selection at Craft Beer Cellar is all but perfect. The employee that greeted me was excellently descriptive, knowledgeable, and mannered. Even if our personal taste palates were contrasting, he still had an exclusive opinion on brews that even I had in mind. Craft on draft, growlers, grub, an eating area, board games.. This place represents everything about the craft culture that I love.

Best place for beer in Houston. If you love a beer on tap you can get it canned or bottled to take home. Highly recommended getting some Wheez the shake. The cellar also has a food truck that makes a delicious pork belly fried rice.

Modern place with friendly staff. We were greeted at the door. Menu explained to us. Assisted in picking a beer. Because I usually dont drink beer. Everything was good. Will visit again.

I was driving through Houston from out of state. I called ahead and requested 4 6-packs of local brews I couldnt get at home. The person who answered the phone sounded excited for the challenge and Steve delivered. Hooked me up with an amazing assortment based on my preferred styles. Bravo!

Good Drinks

I love the ever-changing beer selection, the helpful-ness of the bar tenders and the relaxed atmosphere. I can sit at the bar and watch TV or sit in the dining area for board games. Everytime I show up, I know I can always expect to try a new beer that I have never had.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The games were so much fun and the beer alwas awesome. The most incredible part, however, was the food! Literally one of the best burgers weve ever had! Definitely worth visiting. The head chef is awesome!

Got a few good items to take back home, but was hoping for some rarer Texas selections.

Craft beer selection where can I start...I tried a lot of IPAs amd Wheat Beers. Over 8 beers(flights) beer that I havent seen before and beers that I have. Overall a great experience as a beer conousser...

Nice laid back establishment. Phenomenal staff rather knowledgeable. Eager to make a recommendation to satisfy your needs. To top it all all wokker food truck makes food in house 🤘🏼. I have not even mentioned the BEER. Tons of local options and others. On tap as well as choices from the fridge. Which the staff pours with a small corking fee. My favorite place to catch the Rockets game 🚀🚀

TOTALLY laid back atmosphere!!! No liquor sales, its nice to enjoy a session without the liquid courage raging around. Great selection of Texas beers

The sandwhiches just melt in your mouth. The meat is sooo tender and juicy... when you bite into the sandwhich, you get that buttery toast flavor mixed with Monterrey melted cheese with juice dripping down your chin. & the dipping broth just blew me away. Customer service was BEYOND excellent, tables were social distanced, very vibe’able environment.The sandwhiches are so stuffed, I was full from 1 half. Absolutely worth the trip and price ! Hell Yea

Perfect place to go when you want to try different beers. They have plenty on tap but a store front too where you can purchase and drink at the bar too. Imagine being able to go to Specs, grab one can and drink in the spot.

Easily one of the best craft beer bars in Houston! Also they have to-go beer and that makes em extra special! The best thing is the bartender. He was very knowledgeable about craft beers. 10 out of 10 would go there again!

Love the enthusiasm for beer here! If you work anywhere near downtown, I highly recommend stopping in for a drink after work. They must have at least 40+ taps and they are always rotating the beers with both local beers and others from across the US. If you like trying a lot of new beers like me, come here on a Tuesday when flights are $8. Ive had great conversations and service with all the bartenders thus far, especially Rhianna. Great references if you want to talk anything beer.

Man, wish I could give more stars! Honestly, one of the best places in Houston to have a beer! The staff is exceptional in customer service and the beer knowledge is at a doctorate level. Stay away from the Flying Saucer and drop in here.

What a great store! Its easy to put together some excellent choices to pack home and at decent prices from what Ive seen around town. Not sure what is going on with the bar however; I waited for several minutes while being ignored by the staff before pressing on with my day.

Awesome spot. First time here and definitely coming back . LOTS of beer variety for here or to-go. K-K was very knowledgeable and helpful on deciding what to choose. Cool back area with couches and board games to hang out and kick back a few . Whole place has a cool vibe.

Wide selection, helpful staff. I didn’t feel pressured when I went here. Each time I have been to a craft beer cellar, they are consistent. The staff is always knowledgeable, allows me to taste the loca draft selections and has pretty good recommendations

What a great place. Half the building is a draft bar and lounge. Great atmosphere, a few TVs, projector, a N64 with a ton of games. They have hard copy menus as well as digital menus. The service here is phenomenal! The bartender took his time to chat and help us out with samples, flights, and recommendations. You could tell that he really enjoys his job and is very knowledgeable about beer. We didnt try the food, but it looked good! The other half of the building is a store with grocery store style coolers with a few hundred bottled and canned beers. Great selection, we picked up a 6 pack for the house. If you find something you like in the can or bottle you can drink it there for a $2 opening fee. Great place, limited meter parking in front of the location so a walk or uber is preferred. Medium level loud and aggressive Houston homeless presence near this location.

Nice Place! Lots and lots of craft Beer and Sour!! Individual cans are plentiful. We really appreciate individual cans so we can just try things instead of committing to a whole 6pack. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help. Lots of swear and other gift shop type items available. Thank you!!

The black haired female bartender was great the ambience, the set up, the selection. never been before and we left buying a t shirt and a a glass logo mug. only gripe is the downtown location 🙄 still love this place.

One of the best bars in Houston! Bartenders Rhianna, Ryan, Jarred, and Dave take great care of all of their guests. The owners are often in house and available to chat. They have THE BEST beer selection in Houston so my friends are always happy to hang out their. Being GLUTEN FREE myself, I am always confidence in their cider, mead, or champagne they have on tap! East Cider Pear Rosemary is my ultimate favorite they have in stock on the market side. Definitely worth checking out!

They have a great selection of beers. I recommend getting the 5oz size if you want to sample several different beers. They also have an area where you can purchase canned beers if they dont have the one you want on tap. The bartender was very helpful and friendly. The customer service was great. What made my experience a bit negative was the heat. I was sweating while sitting inside until I managed to grab a seat by a fan. I believe it was cooler outside than it was inside. They have card/board games you can entertain yourself with. Overall a chill place.

They have a vast selection of beers including wine with a cool gift shop linked to the bar. The restrooms are very clean and they keep the bar very clean overall

It’s a gem here called Melt on wheels, the sandwich’s here is absolutely FIRE. I had the Seafood Cajun melt and it was 🔥. Definitely would recommend it here.🔥

I love coming to Craft Beer Cellar because the people who work there are super friendly! KK and Steve are always helpful in selecting the perfect beer for us. Its a gem in the downtown area!On the other side, you can buy beer and wine and Meade which is super cool. They also include a small selection of wine on tap. You can come with a group of friends too and play board games. They also have pac-man and Simpsons game and a couple of other video games. If you are ever needing a good beer and want to be indoors this place is for you! Its an escape when its pouring rain and you forgot your umbrella these guys got you covered. Excellent selection of draft beer with unique option to buy any beer in 5oz samples. This is great for exploring new beers. Retail side of the house has the most complete selection of reasonably prices singles in Houston. Again great for trying new brews. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Good food options as well.

Tons of beers to choose from on draft and even more in bottles/cans. Part of it is an actual store which allows you to purchase beer to go. They have a small window where you can purchase food which appears to separate from the bar since you pay separately and it’s not added to your tab but they do bring the food to you. Place is fairly large and not too busy every time I’ve been so it’s not crowded and easy to talk amongst friends.

This place has an awesome selection of beers.On Tuesdays they have $8 flights. They also can most beers from the tap menu. These are 16oz cans. They do growler fills as well. There is a lounging area in the back with board games or you can hop on some Mario Go-kart.

My friend has been raving about this place I decided to go with him and another mutual friend. The beer selection is absolutely astounding I was surprised with how much they had to offer. Also, you can buy beer since its a beer store/bar. The only thing I thought that could of been better was the food selection but I think as time passes theyll provide more food choices. I definitely recommend this place to all the beer lovers in Houston.

Stumbled upon (and out of! 😂) this great craft beer store downtown. Had incredible help finding a few beers I really enjoyed (I’m not a beer drinker). You can buy individual beers by the can or bottle and even drink them at the bar. Check it out and ask for Adam, you’ll learn so much!

This place is an amazing place! Amazing selection! Wonderful service the bar tender really knew his beer! They have all sorts of board games and game systems as well as TVs for sports. 100% recommend

My absolute favorite spot to sip a nice cold brew with my man. The owners and bartenders are sweet, they have all sorts of entertainment, and they have a great taste in music.

Surprisingly good food. Food truck took up residence and puts out Vietnamese fusion dishes. Perfect after being out in the heat or a night of drinking. Unsurprisingly, good taps and knowledgeable bar staff. Also, old video games in the back set up for play (think Super Mario Brothers stuff)

I showed up prepared to support the venue for hosting the Craft Conversation. The seminar was very informative, Steve was awesome, but the blonde guy behind the bar never acknowledged me, just my husband. I had two beers...I would have had more. Disappointing.

This place is great, its filled with all kind of different type of beer ranging from Belgium to IPA and coffee staut, the list goes on. You choose a beer of your liking and purchase it to consume at the bar and the bar inside also server beer on tap of you dont prefer can or Bottle.

Interesting selection of new and up coming brewery keeps my taste buds on the lookout !
