Please DO NOT ORDER ANY PRODUCTS FROM BEAUTY EMPIRE WEBSITE! I REPEAT, DO NOT ORDER FROM THE WEBSITE!!! IT RIPS YOU OFF! I am currently experiencing this. I have ordered from this website last week for priority shipping and not only have I not received my package, but was informed by USPS representative via the tracking number given, that USPS is waiting for said package to shipped out. So, my order was never sent out! I have sent mails for an update or explanation, no reply back! I have called, no answer and answer machine is full! Beauty Empire is a SHAM/FRAUD OF A BUSINESS ! AVOID ORDERING FROM THEM AT ALL COST! Thank you!

If I could leave a remark with no star, I would. The staff is extremely unhelpful, unwelcoming & disrespectful to customers. Greeted? No. Assisted? No. Scowled faces? Yes. Watched? Yes. Responsive to verbal request for assistance? RESOUNDING NO!

This is not the right beauty empire people are reviewing. There’s two beauty empires that are on the same street. The right one is called Beauty Empire 3 where a lady was not greeted properly and racially discriminated.

Very rude and unprofessional employees. They are unwelcoming, and makes it seem as if you are bothering them when you ask for help. Please do not support this business, there are better beauty supply stores to shop from… and yes this is the correct store.

My favorite beauty supply. Between October and December they probably saw me 2x a week. I had to get my holiday looks together lol. They pretty much always have what I need. Love love love this location. Sidebar, I made a really cute u-part with this hair.

I have a love hate relationship with this beauty supply. I love the wig selections but dont care much for management. Twice they have wrongly accused me of stealing after I had already spent over a $100+. This second time I made my purchase and left the store. Later that evening I was contacted by a woman who said she got my information from the beauty supply because she lost her phone and the beauty supply has me on camera stealing it and proceeded to send me the video. It was a video of me making me purchase and taking my phone and wallet off of the counter which is where the woman believed she left her phone. There was no phone there that I recall seeing and even if there was I didnt notice and wouldnt have taken it. Anyway, these strangers got my personal information from the beauty supply which compromised my safety. I now had these strangers contacting me and threatening me. The beauty supply gave them my information from the loyalty system they have where you enter your phone number to earn points. I dont know what their problem is or more importantly why this has happened to me more than once there. I couldnt be the only person. Its very odd. All I do is buy wigs usually 2 or 3. The first time it was a misunderstanding on their part they werent sure that they charged me for my purchase and it was some technical issue I guess. Im wondering what I can do about them releasing my personal information to a stranger. Unfortunately I cant give them anymore of my business.

They have a large variety of wigs. I love going here. Now the only con is that sometimes the wig I want, the color I desire isnt available. Thats what happened but I was able purchase the display cause it was the last in the color I wanted. Which was 20% off!

Wide selection. Well stocked and clean. Good customer service. There was a wheelchair ramp on the outside but on the inside some of the aisles were too narrow to get a walker or wheelchair through. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Its unfortunate during a global pandemic, that this particular store (Beauty Empire #1) is unwilling to honor a promotion that they sent out via email to me this morning. I received a 15% off my next purchase incentive, in return for being a subscriber to Beauty Empires email list. I initially went to Beauty Empire #3 store. Beauty Empire #3 was very hospitable and professional. Unfortunately, they did not have the hair item that I needed. Then, I traveled down the street to Beauty Empire #1. The cashier at checkout was not helpful and rude. I then spoke with a supervisor, who then got the manager on the phone after I showed proof of the discount. The manager tells the supervisor that they cant honor that discount. After that, I go to checkout to purchase the hair. I showed the cashier that I follow Beauty Empire on social media and asked her about the 5% discount you get off your purchase. The cashier stated that they dont honor that anymore. Its so sad that this company is so money hungry during an unprecedented time like this. Beauty Empire #1 will NEVER get a dime from me again. Periodt!!

I went there for the first time and liked the place until I asked a blond hair, Hispanic employee who supposedly did not speak English well. I asked her if she is the Manager and she rudely had such a bad attitude towards me and did a hand gesture to me that was so rude, I told her she has a bad attitude. Then she called me crazy 3 times in front of my husband and her coworkers. I was so upset. I reported her to her Manager and he was nonchalant excusing her for her behavior. I told him that I will never come back to his store. I never been insulted in my life by an employee who is a stranger to me.

Great deals. I spent too much money. But Im set for the summer.

I had a great experience here!!! Im from out of town so I took my time and found some fabulous wigs! The try on wig cap was 50 cents and there are hundreds of wigs to choose from! The ladies working there were helpful and kind!!! Next time I am in the Houston area I will be back!!! This is by far the best wig store I have been to in the USA and I travel a lot!!! Thanks so much!!!

THIS IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD.THE BEST SYNTHETIC WIGS I HAVE EVER PURCHASE.I NEVER HAD NO ONE TELL ME THAT I HAD TO LIMIT TRYING ON WIGS.THE SALES ARE THE BEST!!!!!!! This place is very cheap and reasonable..........I purchase at least 3 to 4 wigs every visit..........I get so many compliments on every unit,and when I tell them the price, no one believes me lol........AND THE WORKERS ARE SO HELPFUL AND NO ONE FOLLOWS YOU AROUND THE STORE MAKING YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE..........I LOVE THIS PLACE...........

The staff was horrible. The saleslady removed a price tag on a jacket I wanted to purchase so she could charge $30 more and refused to sell it for the amount that was on the sticker. I will never shop in that store again and I will be telling others about my experience.

This store is always clustered. The wigs be are always in disarray on the wig heads. The young lady although she tried to help, she was not really helpful. My last 2 visits were much better, so because this was my first bad experience I gave them a 3 star, in hopes it will be better.

This is another Beauty Supply in a black neighborhood that DOES NOT OFFER RESTROOM facilities to PAYING CUSTOMERS.Between Cullen Scott and MLK they are over 25+ supply stores. I haven’t found one that has a restroom facility for customers. The guy on MLK told me to “Go to the clinic next door it’s very clean” I told him I’m not patronizing the clinic. Needless to say, I left ALL of the bundles (I was purchasing for my daughters and I on the counter.) Understand this, these people DO NOT GIVE BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY! They don’t even give a fundraiser for kids in the community heading to College. While we are sending their children to College in BMW AUDI AND MERCEDES!!!!!! That is the reason why they continue to build in OUR neighborhood. We have to stop supporting these businesses who doesn’t care about us, ONLY our $$$$.

We spend the money on hair!!!!!! Hair industry is a 3 billion $ industry annually. You don’t respect us or our money enough to provide a restroom!!! I’m telling everyone I know DO NOT SPEND YOUR $ here. Wake up black people!!!!. It’s also a city code violation not to provide facilities to the public.

They have a lot of stuff, but some stuff is like $1 more expensive than if you were to go to other beauty supplies.

It was my first time visiting this store. I seen 1 wig that I wanted and on the mannequin it said 2 for $19.99, I asked a worker that was behind the behind the counter does she have another wig like this one. She go on to explain how the 2 for 19.99 that was placed on a shelf work, with sort of condescending tone several times, she restated herself and came from behind the counter to reiterate, without answering the questioned asked. After more clarity and me telling her I comprehend I decided to take the 2 for 19.99. I get to the register and while the guy was ringing up my items I asked if he gave me the 2 wigs for 19.99, he replied that 1 was 29.99. Now again these 2 wigs was on the clearance shelf. After I showed him a pic of the same wig that was mannequin, he gives me an excuse that a customer just placed it on the wrong mannequin and put it on the clearance shelf, my reply is that was not my issue and that your coworker came down from behind the counter and didnt mention nothing but in this section the wigs are 2 for 19.99, and that is false advertising, he called for her to come to the register and of course she repeats what he said, that a customer just placed it on the wrong mannequin . I have a pic of it and you can clearly see it was not a customer error. I also find it a little unusual of how many African Americans consumers was shopping there, but not 1 African American employee out of 6 employee I seen there, and no public restrooms, sames a bit odd. I plan to file a complaint with the consumer affairs as soon as I post this review; and I for one will never support this store again and African American woman need to consider reframing spending their hard earn dollars where they cant even use a restroom as needed.
