It was a great experience and atmosphere at Mezzia Grill on Westheimer. The food was good. The pecan crusted salmon was off the chain.

King Dollar has many things that other dollar stores dont have. But instead of a dollar everything costs so with tax each item actually costs I got many things that were worth for example I got Colgate sensitive toothpaste, candy dishes for gifts, bath bombs and a gift box, a glass biscuit jar, hair accessories and brushes. I also bought 12 juice glasses for $1.50.

They charged my credit card $80 more than the amount I should have paid.Always check ur receipts before leaving the store

I would be very wary of buying grocery items here. I have come into this store multiple times over a few weeks and saw the same expired drinks. I told two employees about it thinking maybe they didnt notice but neither of them seemed to care. One guy even rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders like I was bothering him. They have a good selection of household items but make sure to CHECK EXPIRATION DATES ON FOOD because they clearly dont.

Ok so this store can have some great buys. Name brand stuff at big discounts. Sometimes they put dumb restrictions like you just spend $20 on other stuff, or limit two. I havent gone here in 2 years because the older guy that was always working the register was super rude and disrespectful every time I went in. Today I decided to drop in, and there were two very pleasant ladies working, and I bought some good stuff(all in date, but there were some items that were expired) (see below). If I go in again and the rude guy isnt there, Ill likely raise this to 4 stars.

Excellent customer service, great variety of things and very organized.

I like coming here because they have so many seasonal decorations. They also have a lot of random things that are good finds. Not to mention they got a lot of items from mexico that are hard to find in other stores unless you go to little mexico areas. Good customer service too I usually dont have to wait much to check out and employees are polite.

I visited this store yesterday and I came before 8:50pm, they closed the doors on my face and I tried to talk to them they didn’t answer and they gave me stupid look, these people are awful and they have very aggressive attitude and very unprofessional customer service, they don’t care about anything they just shut down the store before the closing time, I asked for water which could take no more than two minutes but they refused, they didn’t even talked to me and they gave me their back as shown in the pics

Got a big bag of corn nuts here for cheap. Ok selection of cheaper snack foods and drinks. Has iced coffees, fruit drinks, a large candy, chips, and cookies section. Sells decent looking face makeup near the checkout station. Nice people throughout the store. Not pushy. I do wish that they had a bit more variety in their options of snacks foods, but still good picks at lower prices than other stores.

I have ALWAYS enjoyed the King $ stores in Houston. This location is a little bit smaller than the location I used to frequent near the Houston Heights but they offer some INCREDIBLE DEALS!!! I spent about $30.00 last time I visited their location on Richmond Avenue and the value of the items that I brought home exceeded AT LEAST $70.00I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS KING $ STORE!¡!

This store is a superb place to shop and save ! Every item is $1.25 each and they have thousands of very good quality items - ranging from little wedding keepsakes, gift items, baby products, make up, decor items etc. Its a very good place to shop. I recommend this place. Very nice !

Great deals if you look you can find some amazing deals

When I arrived at store to shop. There were only three girls working the store. I asked to use the restroom. Door was locked and I was told it had just been cleaned floors were wet and would be about 10 minutes to dry. I shopped and waited 15 minutes asked again and got an attitude and was told they just cleaned it and it’s wet and cannot be used. As I finished my shopping and checking out we asked again and told same thing again. We said we should probably speak to management or owners suddenly now the bathroom was available. All three girls working had an attitude and very rude.

One of the cashiers that is always there is so rude. Shes always at the register next to the door. Ive been to the store a couple of times because of its convenience but the lady always makes a face and gets an attitude when I ask her questions about items.

Honestly one of the best dollar stores ive ever been to. Every time i think i found something they dont have they have it. Just awesomely convenient.

Everything is affordable and around $1.85 which was the most I spent for a broom and the standing dust pan was equally priced. The employees are mostly Latin and are bilingual so there arent any barriers in terms of communication and questions. I had a fast easy check out.

This used to be a great place for bargains.The Tariffs and now Covid 19 has ruined it.The prices are hard to figure out. Nothing much is a dollar anymore. Most things are 1.39 or greaterThey hired a new guy who is a bit rude and officious. He over does the whole physical distancing thing. Too muchIf you pay cash, some of it does not go in till hence the prices are higher. Retail pilferage is not always the shoplifter.I found these places are framchised and this location has an absentee owner. The location on Hillcroft has an onsite manager/owner so it is a better experience.

King Dollar has great Treasures

I go here to get my cleaning products, holiday decor and toiletries. I also get great stocking fillers here for my family at christmas time. Knocked off one star because their food is usually out of date. (Candy etc)

My husband and I sort of went on our own dollar store scavenger hunt, and we visited five different dollar stores in one day. Let me tell you this was one of the best. It was well stocked, spacious, and well organized. There was ample stuff for our craft mission, and everything else seemed nice and orderly. We had one store we liked a tiny bit more, but overall this was an outstanding store, and we will go out of our way to shop there again.

I always visit this location when Im in the area. They have all you need for party decor and seasonal decorations. I love this location they even have Lucky Bamboo. I suggest visiting this location if youre into Crafts and DIY

Id say %80 of their products are years past expirations, like literally they recently took of the lollipops box expired from sep-2018 (2018) not to mention the candies especially the ones that are usually picked out by little kids.Their staff is really rude, the ones working the cashier. But the ones on the floor cleaning or stocking are really nice. Although they dont speak english but they helped find what im looking for.I think this store needs to get at least one worker that speaks english, because theres always something going wrong and the customers start getting mad when jone of the workers us understanding.

My most favorite dollar store! They have a great supply of different products for the home from kitchen gadgets to dish detergent. Ive bought party supplies there. Much cheaper than Party City, but not as extensive. Great in a pinch.Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, tooth brushes, toothpaste, air freshener, school supplies, pet products, etc. The selection varies as the inventory turns. The staff is friendly and helpful. Ive been shopping there for 20 years.

Some of the employees had attitude problems. Like, it was to much for them to give you a helping hand. When they can see clearly I was with a cane, and had several bags to load in car. And of course their baskets do not go outside.

It was verry bad experience with my first visit today, and i had bad service from the cashier i must pay 10$50 i gave her 15 $ she told me that i gave her 11$, it was ok on this thing but to tel me to come back to verify my stuff because her teamer told her i stoled somthing it was bad for and she didnt found something stoled and she didnt said sorry about this, i will not visit your store again 😥😤😤😤
