Wow! The selection of gourmet cream cheeses is overwhelming. So many great flavors to choose from and they load it up on your bagel. I also got a chance to try their ham, egg, and cheese bagel and again they were not stingy. The ham was nice and seared and it was sandwiched between eggs and cheese on each side. On top of the great Bengals the service was friendly and sweet. This will be my bagel place from now on.

Been here a dozen times since I moved from NY.Being from NY- it’s hard to compare as these are definitely not east coast bagels.But it’s best in the area since I have been searching for good bagels in Houston and failing.The staff and owners are super friendly and always get the orders correct.Not sure if it’s a covid thing but the drink selection is bare- not even some OJ??Hot chocolate?? Apple juice?? NopeAnd you make excellent breakfast sandwiches but please offer another choice of bread (croissants, rolls…)Highly recommend and will return

Today was our first visit to Jersey Bagels, and I have no problem saying that they make the best bagel I have ever had in Houston! The staff was incredibly helpful, and offered samples of the many gourmet cream cheeses, which are all made in-house. I ordered an everything bagel with plain cream cheese, and my mother had a blueberry bagel with honey walnut cream cheese; both bagels were chewy outside and soft inside, and full of flavor!

First time here and I loved it! Never been to Jersey, but Ms Rizzo will definitely take you there when you visit Jersey Bagels. They offer a full menu of bagel options and a variety of fresh gourmet cream cheeses and sandwiches. I had the bagel with lox and Im hooked! I will definitely be back and I suggest you call ahead to avoid the morning rush, but if not, the wait is well worth it! See you in the morning!

I am so glad I got a chance to visit this place! The fresh bagel aroma hits you as you walk in, then the wall of cream cheese flavors entices you. Super friendly service, extremely fresh ingredients, the yummiest flavors, colors, and Im in love! Will definitely be coming back!

I took the drive at 6:30 AM from Champion Forest and Spring-Cypress to Jersey Bagels. I called ahead and ordered a dozen plain and a dozen cinnamon raisin. At that time taking 249 to 1960 and coming back Huffmeister to Kluge was about 50 minutes round trip. Had one bagel so far and it’s very good. Worth the trip.

This place is great. First timer here and i will definitely be back .. The ladies up front were extremely helpful in walking me through all the options. They even let us sample some of the different cream cheese.. Onion and chive was awesome...

We were checking out a new place since I was in the area. Luckily found Jersey Bagels and got to try out their tremendous hand rolled bagels. They also had a pumpkin spice cream cheese that was new and it tasted awesome with the cinnamon raisin. We also loved their pizza bagel so much. Would definitely recommend any person to have this for breakfast/lunch. Awesome and kind staff working too!

I absolutely love it here. The people are sweet and so are the bagels. The staff recognizes you and make you feel welcomed. There’s so many choices I can’t wait to try them all . Run don’t walk to this amazing breakfast experience.

Came in not sure of the place and they exceeded my expectations! The 2 ladies in there are super friendly and helpful. They even make majority of everything in house, including the cream cheeses. These beautiful ladies were the nicest ladies :) helped me out the whole way when purchasing from them for the first time and I went on customer appreciation day and it was 10% off!! Finally good bagels in Houston! Been going to duncan forever for my bagel fix, but it just wasnt cutting it anymore. Then I stumbled upon this little place... I walk in and Im greeted by a lovely lady with a Jersey accent... hmmm... Im in the right place! She noticed it was my first time and she was so patient with me and explained everything. They make their own bagels AND cream cheese in house. Wow. I ordered the lox, capers, and onion with chive cream cheese. My guy got the BLT on everything. Also a latte. Bagles were thick with the everything topping on both sides (top and bottom) and a generous smear. The Lox was fresh and high quality. So delicious. Im in love 😍 with these bagels!

Our first time there and we weren’t disappointed. A lady (who, I believe, was the owner?) patiently explained everything they had to offer to us with a huge line forming, which I was very thankful for.Pork roll w egg breakfast sandwich was amazing. Wife loved the Nova bagel. Son was a fan of the fresh orange juice. Everything here is quality. Bagels are perfect with a crispy outside and chewy soft inside when toasted.We live 20 minutes away, but will definitely be back. Best bagels hands down in this area

First time to this bagel shop. Bagels were very good and reminded me of back home in New York. I have to say most places give you what’s called a bakers dozen which is 13 for the price of 12 but here that is not the case. The bagels are pricey at $18 a dozen and we usually pay 11.50 -13.50 and get 13. I was also shorted a bagel when I got home having ordered 12 and was only given 11. The staff should do better at making sure customers get their 12. Customers were not wearing masks, all employees were masked except for one who was actually handling the take out food. I have the place a 4 because bagels are very good but overall somewhat disappointing especially not receiving the amount of bagels I paid for

So glad to have Jersey Bagels right down the road from our house! The staff is always polite even when the shop is very busy which I appreciate. I really like the variety of different cream cheese and all the breakfast sandwiches. The pork roll is my favorite but you really cant go wrong with whatever you pick! Make sure to get there early because they sell out quick. I will definitely continue to be a regular customer.

Came here for a late breakfast with a friend this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised by this little hole in the wall. As soon as you walk in your nose is blessed with the beautiful aroma of fresh begals. We wanted to order the lox sandwich but they were out of lox so we got the nova and oh my goodness it was delicious. Their bagel sandwiches are also super full of ingredients. We could have easily shared one but very much enjoyed all the fresh toppings on our everything bagels. My friend ordered a specialty coffee and really enjoyed it, I got a freshly squeezed orange juice which was also delightful. Overall if youre a bagel fan and like good coffee, go check this place out!

Cant believe Ive lived 5 minutes away from this gem for so long without realizing it! This was my second visit. Abby and Sabrina (I apologize for any misspelling) are the best, so sweet and welcoming. I was also greeted so nicely by another young woman but unfortunately didnt catch her name. The bagels are always fresh, the spreads are phenomenal, and 10/10 would recommend the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich! We will certainly be coming back. I hope everyone who passes by, whether online or in person, will give them a shot! You wont regret it.

Being from NY/NJ I understand what a good bagel is.Chains like Einstein Bros., Manhattan Bagel, Brooklyn Bagel and heck, even Panera produces a better product. One of the worst bagels I have ever eaten. It is like eating a brick. A proper bagel has a great chew on the outside but soft on inside (at least when theyre fresh). These tasted stale and hard. Never again.On the bright side...they are better then Lenders

This place was recommended by a friend. They open early, close by 2 oclock and its a 20mins drive away from me! So, I always just ignore it. However today I had time so I tried it out. Boy!!!! Am I pleased I did. Friendly team, clean place, good choices of bagels with good prices too. They key is really the good options of their cream cheese in my opinion as a bagle is always a bagle. Better its freshly made obviously. Will definitely return. Try the rainbow with the honey walnut cream cheese

Words cant describe this place. Growing up in NYC, this definitely reminds me of home. My last go to place in the area was really good as well but jersey bagels has them beat for classic, plump, perfect NY bagels.

Went to pick up today and it was a little backed up due to the grill but the lovely ladies behind the counter made everything better. They were nice enough to give some free Bagel dogs for the inconvenience. These ladies are a breath of fresh air and definitely made this an enjoyable experience.

This is one of the closest things to New York/New Jersey bagels in the area. It is worth the drive if you live far. Some days they sell out quick so always try to get there early. The owners and the staff are great people.

To honor Kobe and Gigi they made kobe bagels. I truly believe they came a long way I went to their grand opening and the bagels was decent now months later after getting settled into their routine these bagels are the BOMB diggity. Definitely go check them out its well worth the drive

My wifes been following this place for a while now. Finally got on this side of town. My little one and I shared a rainbow bagel. At first he was confused as to why this donut didnt have icing. My wife got her go-to the everything bagel. She said hands down that was the best one shes had.

Absolute worst customer service. From the moment we walked to in to the moment we left. We wanted 20 minutes for 3 bagels, while we watched the works just sit down staring at customers walking in and out. We asking out what the status of our order was our response was I don’t know. First thing in the morning there needs to be a more positive environment, welcoming, and friendly space.

Finally made it here and I’m glad we did! We got the blueberry, everything, and rainbow bagel. They are so nice and the bagels are delicious.

I’ve never been to Jersey but all the people from jersey that I’ve brought bagels to say it tastes like home. Anyone else just says it’s the best bagels and best cream cheese they’ve ever had in their life.

I have come at 9:30 ish multiple days and each time they are sold out of most bagels. Today only 5 kinds available. They are great bagels but can’t eat what the NEVER have. I won’t be back again. How can you be open until 2 and sold out by 9:30. So disappointed a business can not manage their inventory to meet demands.

I am so blessed this wonderful bagel shop is very close to home.I had a simple bagel with cream cheese. Maybe I am so used to Einstein’s/ Panera . Blueberry cream cheese was too heavy/ rich but less flavorful to me. I will definitely revisit and try signature sandwiches.

Garlic bagel is freaking amazing! First of all, the place smells like heaven and secondly I drove home 25 minutes and my bagels were still warm, yall. I cannot recommend them more. I got off work and drove straight there. There were maybe 6 people ahead of me in line and the line moved quickly. Ill definitely be back for more than a half dozen. Its a little outside of my normal travel perimeter but so damn worth it. The prices are way better than reasonable. Seriously. I got a garlic bagel, did I tell yall it was good? Its so. Good. And I slathered it with house-mixed onion/chive cream cheese. Lord have mercy. This place is legit.

Im no expert on NJ bagels, but I know theyre better than those in local grocery stores. My wife IS the expert and declared after tasting one of these that she wont have to fly back from home anymore with a big bag of bagels packed in her luggage.

I grew up in NJ, and I was very happy to see you had pork rolls! What a treat you are bringing to Houston! It was delicious, but I do have one comment. In NJ, the layers of pork roll are cut thicker and you definitely get a higher ratio of pork roll per sandwich. You know I’m right. 😉

I finally got a chance to go out there this morning - I walked into the store and the aroma of the freshly baked bagels was absolutely intoxicating!!! I tried the Taylor Ham sandwich on an everything bagel that I had heard so much about!!! It was absolutely delicious!!! Since I have no clue when I will have a chance to come back out here again (I live about 35-40 minutes away) I went ahead and bought two dozen bagels to enjoy later 🙂They also offer a wide variety of cream cheese - it looked so beautiful in the display case 🙃. The nice girl behind the counter offered me samples of the ones I had been eyeing. I went with the garlic & herb because it tasted like heaven. I will probably just eat it straight out of the container 🤣I have always been a fan of Hot Bagel Shop off of Shepherd Drive, but rarely make it down there because of the drive. Jersey Bagels is much closer and I think it tastes much better 🙂And now.... eight hours later..... I am craving that Taylor Ham sandwich again.... 🤤If you are searching for genuine NJ bagels - look no further!!! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed 🥰

The bagels are delicious. The are big and chewy. Big flavor. I had garlic and it was garlicky, as it should be. The bagels were reasonably priced and they had so many different flavors of cream cheese, I couldnt make up my mind. The staff was friendly and patient as I couldnt decide what I wanted. I was disappointed because you cant get a pizza bagel after 12. They should post that on their fb page and/or website so people know. We came for pizza bagels, but walked out with 1/2 dozen others. So no complaints. Next time we will go earlier. Definitely delicious, definitely worth the money and definitely will be back.

Great Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bagel. It can easily feed 2 people. It does get busy due the short operational hours but it is good.

Im from New Jersey and the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese was spot on. Even had too much cream cheese just like they do it in Jersey. Word of advice, if you order Taylor ham egg and cheese make sure you get it with salt, pepper and ketchup!

We found a new family bagel shop!! I am normally a sweet eater while my husband prefers savory. I went in with the idea of the bagel I was getting and ended up with 2 more than I planned. All of their sweet bagels were wonderful, but I tried my husband’s everything bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese and was BLOWN away with how good it was. I entered loving the sweet bagels and left now loving both sweet and savory.

Entered the shop being number 71 and didnt get my one sandwich until after number 83 then was given a nasty face when I asked where my sandwich was being that I had already waited about half an hour.Asked for a plain and got a roll insteadBurnt egg, burnt bacon, wrong bread and on top of that bad customer service.
