I took a newborn care class and absolutely loved the instructor Dena and the experience. My husband and I feel so much more prepared for our first baby. The Motherhood Network has been an incredible resource for me throughout my pregnancy - highly recommend their services!

Used their nanny department to find a family I could work with and nanny for. Less than a month later from getting on boarded in their system, I signed a contract to work with a great family. Nikki is so so sweet, professional and making sure both sides are taken care of! Love it. — the babysitting department is also phenomenal. Sonia is just as prompt to respond to calls/messages. Highly recommend for staffing purposes! 💕

I cant say enough good things about this place. I feel so fortunate to have access to a business that is truly a one stop shop for all things pregnancy and motherhood related. I have taken advantage of their fitness classes, prenatal massages (Jane is excellent) and their Childbirth class in preparation for our first child. The staff are friendly and accommodating and they are a great resource for those in the Houston area.

I found the Motherhood Center after searching around for prenatal workout classes and decided to give it a try. And that was one of the BEST decisions I have made for me and my baby. I workout 4-5 times a week before pregnancy and do all kinds of things from kickboxing to yoga but when I got pregnant, I wanted to make sure the workouts I do is safe for me and baby and it will benefit me during labor and recovery. So after I tried out my first prenatal workout class with Karolina at the Motherhood Center I was hooked. I started to go there when I was 11 weeks pregnant and I am still taking the class virtually now when I am 37 weeks. The classes were great and I feel stronger and have more energy after the classes. Karolina is excellent and she is funny, energetic, friendly and she cares for each person in the class. Everyone at Motherhood Center is so nice and friendly since day 1 when I first visited. They are resourceful, helpful and super knowledgeable about all kinds of pregnancy things. The facility is clean, cozy and neat and has everything you need for pregnancy. I am glad during this tough time, they are still open and provide virtual classes online so I can take it from home. Cant wait for my baby to come and I will come back for mommy baby yoga class!!!! A great place with great people providing great help for mommies and babies!

We have used the Motherhood Center for nanny placement, birth and breastfeeding classes (particularly if you are seeking a natural birth and feel strongly about breastfeeding) and massages. For new parents, this group of women was our support line during both of my pregnancies and after birth for figuring out childcare options. For massages, Jane is phenomenal both for prenatal and every day massages. I had a pinched nerve during my first pregnancy and her sessions were the only relief I had until my daughter was born. I continued to see her after my babies were born because she is that good! Most recently we worked with their nanny placement team and we could not recommend them more. Davina was attune to the little things we were seeking in a nanny, that are the big things when you are hiring for such an important role in your home. She also checked in soon after placement, and months after, to ensure the fit was a good one.If you are a new parent or a friend of a new parent, one of the best gifts we received was a gift card for classes and massages. We highly recommend this team and the wraparound services they provide to moms.

I have spent quite a bit of time now with the Motherhood Center, and I am more than pleased!! I was pregnant with twins and in much need of a prenatal massage. I’d already been to several other places but this was the best I had my whole pregnancy! They recommended I try their prenatal yoga, and it was incredible. If you’re having sciatic pain, I highly recommend their massages and yoga. They also sell pregnancy and post pregnancy body lotions that work wonders, as well as very supportive belly bands. We also used a baby nurse through the Motherhood Center for the first 2 weeks. It’s worth every penny!! A newborn care specialist will help you with breastfeeding, getting the babies on schedules, washing bottles, baby laundry, organizing the baby room and help with anything you need or want. I never asked, but my nurse always had water and snacks at my bedside. I was in a great deal of pain from my c section and she made everything so much easier than I ever imagined. She was so sweet and became part of my family overnight. Not to mention, super trustworthy! The Motherhood Center is the full package. I highly highly recommend them!

In the past I’ve had great success relying on the motherhood center for fitness classes, massages, and parenting classes. I felt so confident in the level of service they’ve delivered on for me in the past I did not even question who we would go through in hiring a nanny placement service. I hate to even be writing this, but the truth of the matter is they waisted so much of my time in thinking I could trust them to find us a new full time nanny. They put a candidate in front of us that I immediately had a negative feeling about, but wanted to trust in their recommendation. After a few quick searches online I found this candidate on Care.com with the most horrible reviews. I hired the MHC so that I could find someone different than I could find on my own – which they assured me would be the case. The candidate they put in front of me was someone I never ever would have contacted based upon her reviews which included being extremely unreliable and in one instance not feeding a families child. I was horrified. We immediately terminated services with the MHC and I had to continue the search on my own. Thankfully we found a new nanny, but interestingly enough when I was calling on references I spoke with two other moms who had very scary interactions with nannies they had hired through MHC and had to fire within the first two weeks of working for their families. I am simply putting this out in the universe so that others will know the level of service unfortunately is not there right now for the nanny placement service and hopefully I can save you time and heartburn over what is already a very stressful process.

As a first time mother-to-be, The Motherhood Center has been an incredible resource for all things baby and mommy! In particular, I have really enjoyed the prenatal yoga classes. Not only have the moves and poses helped with pregnancy discomfort, the instructors have been a wealth of information about preparing for birth. I love that The Motherhood Center is a one-stop shop for finding support before, during, and after babys arrival -- from fitness to massage to birthing classes, and even child care services. Thank you!

Had my very first massage here and it won’t be my last! I was hesitant to go to just any other place for a prenatal massage and I’m so glad they offer it here! It made me feel a lot more comfortable going to a place that specializes in taking care of mommas! Crystal was amazing and it was easily one of the best massages I’ve ever had!

I go to here every day for prenatal group exercise class, once a month for prenatal massage (w/ Jane, who is great). Its really nice they provide fitness, not only yoga. Its easy and flexible as no RSVP requirement. The price is alright, especially consider I actually get VIP class once in a while. The front desk manager Lindsay and her staff are exceptional. The owner is very friendly, approachable and hardworking. She cares what she is doing and her clients. Nice environment and prefect atmosphere. I found the connection immediate and purchased the biggest package after my first visit. Highly recommended!

Ive been going to the prenatal Yoga (Erica) every week and have had a prenatal massage (Netta) which really helped my sciatica. Ive experienced wonderful customer service here and would recommend the fitness and massages. Laura has also been very helpful with everything especially with scheduling. For the birthing/breastfeeding/newborn classes, Ive heard a mixed bag of reviews from my mommy group. I think it really depends on peoples learning styles and preference. Price is a little more expensive than other classes and hospital courses, but that, again, will come down to personal preference and learning styles.Other than that, I really really think their fitness programs are wonderful. I am excited to continue post partum along with my little buddy!!

Karolina is the absolute BEST instructor. I was a hardcore weight lifter prior to pregnancy and I needed something that wasn’t too easy or boring. Her yoga class is excellent and she gives lots of options for more advanced moves. Good breathing techniques but also a great workout. Her Pilates class is fire!!!!! I even built up a sweat which is exactly what I needed. I wish she taught everyday!!!

My wife and I attended the newborn care class last night and had a great learning experience. The instructor was informative and passionate about baby care. We walked away with valuable information including how to swaddle and soothe a crying baby, proper feeding positions, and diapering. Highly recommend it and encourage others to take it earlier in their pregnancy because the instructor offers great advice on what products you need and not need to register for.

I used to go here for prenatal yoga and prenatal massages when I was pregnant, we also took the parenting classes with my husband here. We also took the prenatal pictures here and once our baby girl was born we also took the newborn pictures here. Now I go with my little one for the Mommy & Baby Classes here. I have no idea how I would manage the whole pregnancy without them! The staff is very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this place to all moms-to-be and moms with babies and kids. I’ve used a fair number of their service offerings, most of which were very nice. But, it’s my experience that their message/mission around supporting moms is just marketing. If you have an issue, customer service is warm and full of catchphrases but ultimately nothing out of the ordinary. Buyer beware, just like anywhere else.

We have used The Motherhood Center for all sorts of things. We first went to The Motherhood Center for infant care classes, which gave my wife and I a great understanding of what to expect. After our son was born, my wife went almost weekly to infant yoga and other classes/activities. Most recently, we used The Motherhood Centers Night Nanny/Baby Doula service to help our whole family get some sleep. After two weeks, the Nanny had not only the baby, but our whole family getting good sleep again. We highly recommend The Motherhood Center for not only its classes and activities, but for its home services. The Motherhood Center is a trustworthy and reliable source for quality family care and education.

This is only a review on babysitting. I requested a babysitter on Friday for Sunday. I got an immediate response saying we are working on getting you a babysitter. Hours later I get an email saying can we let you know first thing on Saturday morning. I wait and wait on Saturday. Nothing. I call and email, nothing. Finally at 8:40pm they send me an email saying no one is available. Its bad customer service.

I do not recommend the natural childbirth class. I spent $300 and 6 hours listening mostly to propaganda about why interventions are bad. Since I was already in a natural childbirth class, I didnt need to be convinced that I should avoid interventions. The instructor was not knowledgeable about the current state of the art in medicine. She incorrectly insisted over and over that all doctors and medical staff would resort to c sections, unnecessary episiotomies, and inductions under various specific circumstances I have already discussed with my doctor and/or researched my hospitals policy on. Example: she said multiple times that all doctors will make you give birth within 16 to 18 hours of your water breaking. I have already discussed this with my doctor, and he says 24 hours. A nurse in our class clearly disagreed with her multiple times when she [instructor] asked her [nurse] to confirm some horror story she was telling about all hospitals. Examples: routine eposiotomies, effectiveness of manually breaking water. Setting a bunch of women who want a natural childbirth to think their medical staff are unqualified and determined to antagonize our birthing goals is not going to help us relax during labor. It was as if she wanted to terrify all of us and convince us to do a home birth so we would hire her. I hope everyone in my class was informed enough to see through this garbage. We could have downloaded The Business of Being Born to be told hospitals are evil for free. The course did almost nothing to train my husband and I for a positive natural birth experience, because it was almost entirely focused on why we should avoid interventions (which, again, thats already our goal) and how doctors are going to force them down our throats no matter what (not accurate or helpful or positive). I guess Im just going to re-read Natural Hospital Birth since I got nothing from the class and that book is really what the class should have been, in book form.

I emailed the center and never received a response. This is very frustrating, especially since I am 8 months pregnant. I have heard nothing but amazing things about this center, unfortunately my experience wasnt so great. If I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD.
