Great place for your car that doesnt work always fast and less money

I went to Lakewood Collision on the recommendation of a friend who has been using him for several repairs. My 2009, 202Kmile Siennas front bumper clear coat was peeling off and my wife was having none of that, said she wouldnt drive the ghetto car. So I had to repair the 202Kmile car bumper.I met with Ruben and he was a pleasure to deal with. No pressure and quick quote.The price of the car was in the ballpark of what I thought it would cost and it was done in 2 days. Attached are pix and you can see how well they matched the paint.Not only did the outside bumper paint look like new and matched the rest of the car, they pretty much detailed the rest of the outside and cleaned the inside of the car. The car has not been that clean on the inside in YEARS!!!My only complaint about the experience is that now my wife wants me to get a quote on my Camry which was bumped into when I was parked somewhere and the panels arent flush due to clips breaking and there are spider lines in the paint. So the fantastic job on one car is going to cost me work on another car. Thanks Ruben. But I will be more than happy to give him my business again.

We had our 2014 Toyota RAV4 worked on at Lakewood. Ruben and Josh dis a great job on the dent. They were quick but thorough. It was very easy to take it in, get my rental, and take off. It was cleaned and polished when returned to me. Yea! A great place to get work done to your car. Thanks guys.

Ed & his crew are the only people I will take my cars to, and he’s the only repair shop I have ever recommended—especially being female, you get jerked around a lot. Ed has never done that. He always finds the best, the quickest, and the most affordable fix. And he’s nice. He is friendly. Can’t say that about many businesses these days.

I have been taking my car to Lakewood car clinic for several years and I always have a great experience. Ed is very helpful and informative regarding the maintenance needs of my vehicle. The shuttle service they offer is also extremely helpful for me to get my car serviced when I need it. All the guys in the shop are also kind and respectful, I love this place!!!!

I haven’t in all my years been to a auto shop that is so professional as well as personable and I believe that they are honest as well. It is so refreshing now a days to see this. I definitely will be taking my car to them for now on.

At a trusted friends suggestion I took my car to Lakewood Car Clinic. Im glad I did. I had a check engine light and it was pretty serious. I got the car back same day, it was reasonably priced and I couldnt be happier.My friend told me that he trusts them completely and I though Okay. But now Im a believer too.Really, if you are a lady and have been abused by car guys before? Go here. You can trust them.

Went in to get my truck buffed out on the bumper area and when I came back to pick it up they went the extra mile to fix my headlights that where foggy and on top of that wash my vehicle!Everyone is nice and super professional!Definitely recommend.

Im not the type that posts negative reviews. The past few months I have done everything possible to understand why a shop I took one of my vehicles to over 18 years ago and ultimately because of how impressed I was by the quality of work completed on that car, caused me to continue bringing my vehicles to Lakewood whenever it was needed, also sending the majority of my family members their way. Now jump into the present time Our BMW, the same one that brought my wife and I together that we love sits covered in storage. Ill increase my star rating because I have only had great experience prior using yall. I dont know why this time it was a disaster? Extremely disappointing by how great the car was talked up and the reasons for the delay of delivery and ultimately the let down on my wifes face when I told her it wasnt drivable if we wanted it to last. Why anyone would have taken so much off the engine for a head job should not have been the focus. The car itself and it running regardless of how the end goal could be achieved is what I trusted to you and was ready to pay! We ultimately had to have family help us purchase a 2011 Honda Pilot, because the BMW hasnt driven over 75 miles. If I hadnt went over every inch of her to keep our photo and video portfolio updated on our E46 I would not have noticed very questionable concerns that Ill gladly share with the owner only! Guys someone destroyed the ball, this isnt the lakewood Car Clinic I know and trust; Yall are known for exceptional service and Integrity. What happened?

Ive found Rick (a local owner who grew up in the area) to be an honest and honorable man who works hard to be fair to his customers and employees alike. They just replaced the radiator cooling fan assembly on my 2004 TBird convertible and as usual did a professional job. Theyve repaired our cars for over 10 years - both mechanical and collision body repairs- and have been consistently excellent. The job is always completed on time the work is top notch and the price is fair and competitive. Highly recommended!

Got my Miata a custom alignment and they provided the before/after alignment numbers and went through them with me. Also had new tires installed and balanced. They used the right torque, oriented all tires in the right direction and got the air pressure right. Great customer service and great techs. I highly recommend them. This is my new go-to place for my car. Previously, I had always taken my Lexus to the Toyota dealership for any maintenance and during my last visit there I was told the front end of my vehicle had 2 safety issues and that my car was not safe to drive and that the repair would be $1100. I didn’t have the funds to address that, so today when I needed an oil change and a brake light to be replaced I visited Lakewood CC&C. I also asked for an estimate on the work that needed to be done (camber bolt, lower control arm + ball joint) and upon their inspection they found no damage and explained quite thoroughly to me that everything was where it should be. I was also informed that the manufacturer specifications for my vehicle do not call for synthetic oil(more expensive), which is what I have been paying for when servicing my vehicle at Toyota. Ed’s honesty meant the world to me since I am a young woman and am always skeptical of being taken advantage of (up/over charging prices, being sold unnecessary info). In addition, they were courteous enough to provide a complimentary ride home while they had my car as well as a ride to be picked up and taken back there once my car was ready.

I have been a customer for 20+ years which in and of itself should convey that I think very highly of Lakewood Car Clinic. I have always received excellent service, fair price quotes and honest diagnostics of vehicle issues Ive presented to them! Work done over the years has been timing belts, brakes, front-end rebuilds, A/C repair (from charging to replacement), 2 and 4 wheel alignments, tire rotation and oil changes...just off the top of my head! Recently my wife was in an automobile collision in her Lexus. I didnt hesitate to have the vehicle taken directly to Lakewood Car Clinic from the accident location. Damage was to the left rear quarter of the SUV. I made a few stops during the repair and was greeted courteously and shown the progress of the repair as well as the method of the repair. The end result was complete satisfaction! To this day I can not tell this vehicle was in a collision! The paint match is unbelievable and there were no short cuts, as they replaced whole body sections and did amazing work on the seams!! YES, I whole heartedly recommend Lakewood Car Clinic for all types of vehicle repair.

I just had my wifes car down there for an estimate. Im trying to avoid taking to the dealership because of a long wait time. Their estimate was 3x what the dealership wanted for truly simple work. I suppose they probably were trying to cover her car with 14k gold leaf paint. I only wish I was there in person when the estimate was given since they probably would have come down considerably in price once they realized I could talk the talk. There are plenty of repair shops in the area and 3 of which were considerably less expensive for the same work. Choose wisely.

For all the disgruntled people, obviously there are two sides to a story. I I am retired and had a restoration shop for a a few decades. My wife tried to get the mail with her rear quarter panel 😳 went to the dealer and they wanted 6,690.00 to repair a dent in an easy place. went to a few more shops well known and they were all in the 1,700 to 2,500 range. Went today and had a good conversation with Al, He now has the car and the price is spot on as I would have estimated it. they do nice work, I’ve seen the work . I get it back tuesday 😎👍

Had a gaping hole in the tailgate of my truck. Ford changed to aluminum recently and we all thought there was no way they could repair it and I would be forced to buy a new/used tailgate. I asked them to try to repair it and it turned out fantastic! They kept me informed every step of the way. Ive used this company several times in the past with similar results. These guys are the real deal. Professional, prompt, great work and fun to do business with.

100% recommend this place! I thought for sure my car needed a new transmission because it would slip when accelerating especially on turns. I put off the repair for a while until I could afford it but when I took it to Lakewood they discovered I just needed the throttle body cleaned out and it ran like new! $135 versus $2,000+! And my moms old truck had a completely cracked Flywheel that they fixed when we thought it had a broken rod. They have saved us a lot of worry and money when any other shop could have easily taken advantage of us.

I have been taking my cars to Lakewood Auto for over 10 years. They always treat me fairly and offer competitive quotes. Occasionally I compar their quotes to other shops and they are lower. They also are very good at fixing the problem the first time, I dont have to take the car back multiple times for similar problems. Great neighborhood business!

They give it to you straight. I once came in with a self diagnosed problem and it turns out they just needed to clean off the MAF. They could have charged me way more if they fixed what I thought was wrong. My familys used them for the past 15 years for mechanical repair and body work.
