Finding a dependable and honest mechanic in a city that requires you to have a car is a very daunting task. Because of this, Ive always taken my car to my dealership for repairs because at the end of the day, I knew they would stand by their work. My husband told me of his experience with J&T and I decided to give them a shot since the check engine light had appeared on my 2004 Toyota Tundra. I was truly amazed at the overall professionalism demonstrated by the service technician (Jon Fink) that I dealt with. His communication was very timely and he outlined what repairs needed my immediate attention along with issues that I should address in the near future. The prices were incredibly fair considering that I had been using my dealer up to this point. I can honestly say with 100% certainty that I have finally found my mechanic.

I was quoted a very high amount for replacing the motor mounts and transmission mount for my GLK350 4matic from the MB dealer.I called J&T, along with a few other places, and decided to go with J&T. Dropped off the car Monday morning and was told 2 days. They followed up Monday afternoon with a call to tell me the car would be done Tuesday.Received a call and text Tuesday around noon that the work was complete. I was able to pay for the work online and then go pick up the car.I also had them do a transmission service, which was half the price of what the MB dealer was charging.Everything was done correctly and the car drives like new again. The overall experience was very professional.I highly recommend J&T for your automotive repair needs!

Absolutely Great Service! They are very honest on what your car needs, prices are fair, and most of all their service is friendly. They have a very clean waiting area, where they offer different options for tea or coffee, and their restrooms were very clean as well. This business goes above and beyond what is expected of the normal everyday auto repair shop..They were professional and their Diagnosis of the engine problem was spot on. As this is my means of transportation- they made sure my explorer was ready the next business day.. in this day and age of electronics and the “padding the bill “ attitude.. it’s refreshing to come across a business that bills their services accordingly and has a fiduciary commitment to the customer.

The owner, Zack, but you can call him Hector, LOL (just kidding - his name is Zack) is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I explained my issues, he took a glance in the engine, gave me a very fair quote and time frame to complete. He took photos of the issue and sent them to me and called me before proceeding. When I returned the cost was exactly the same as the quote when I first arrived! I was in and out in the SAME DAY! The entire staff was nice, and funny. A shuttle service was available to bring me home and pick me up when my car was ready. This was a great experience in getting my car back up and running. Ive found my new mechanic! Im so happy!

Monday I was driving to work when my car sounded like the whole engine was about to fall out. Stopped by j&t due to their amazing reviews. Michael found the problem right away. And was just a loose strut bolt. Great to find a shop that is honest which is very rare. Most shops would of tried to sell me on some major repairs which were not needed. Cant thank j&t enough for fixing my issue and getting me back on the road safely. Will definitely be a long time customer and definitely recommend them to friends and family. Had to have my vehicle towed to a shop after hours and thank god I had heard about J&T in our neighborhood app. They took care of my vehicle in a relatively short time compared to the repairs needed. When I went to pick up my truck they had cleaned both the inside and out! Then, about a month after they installed my new engine, I had the oil changed and it cost a fraction of the price that I had been paying prior at a “quick lube” place I was using at a car wash near by. The guys are super professional can say I trust them. We will be using them for all my vehicle needs in the future.

Was referred by a Co-Worker who said this place was an honest place to deal with. Called on a Saturday and Spoke to Oscar. He said if you can get it here by 1pm I can have it done by closing. Of course I wasn’t ready and said how about Monday. He said not a problem I’ll have you out by Lunch. But of course we think it’s one thing and it becomes another. So it took a little bit longer than expected but they broke it down for me and were extremely honest. When picking it up they had my baby blue wash and did my Oil Change that I was about do for. What a great place to go to! You have to experience for yourself. Ask for Oscar!!

I brought my 2013 audi for an oil change and a general checkup before driving halfway across the country. The guys are very friendly and professional. As a female who has basic knowledge about cars, I can really appreciate the transparency and thorough breakdown of issues/recommendations in writing and pictures. They even offer links to educational video on how the fuel injector works. Pretty cool! Their labor isn’t the cheapest but it’s worth it.

J&T Automotive did a great job on my car. I just bought a used vehicle and took it to them for an oil change and general inspection. They took great photos of all aspects of my car and sent me a detail report that I can save and reference for later - all within the average price for an oil change. Great service!

This is the BEST shop I have encountered after being ripped off the last 6 years living here especially with my BMW X5. I will never take any of my vehicles anywhere else. Car is back to driving like a gem and was kept safe and in perfect condition upon pick up. They are 100% Honest. Work with you. Show you all the detailed needs. What can be okay. I will only be using J&T as long as I am in Houston. Repaired a Bmw self leveling failure compressor. Could have charged me over 1500 more. But we’re honest and admitted it was just the compressor. Most shops wouldn’t have even told you. Hats off to this shops honesty that’s why I will go no where else.

J&T is very good, very professional and offers a competitive price. For the recent annual maintenance on my BMW, I compared J&Ts price to the BMW dealership and to Firestone. J&T was 40% cheaper than the dealership and the same price as Firestone. But since I felt J&T was a little more knowledgeable and professional than Firestone, I went with J&T and I was very pleased with the job they did. They also did a complementary car wash at the end, which Firestone does not do. That added car wash was a nice, welcome touch by J&T.

I am extremely impressed was J & T Automotive! I found them via Google based on the reviews and they did not disappoint. Oscar, who I spoke with twice on the phone, was professional and courteous and made helpful suggestions which wound up saving me around $600. He walked me through the process and gave me an accurate estimate of how long it would take to inspect my car for issues. They were quick and professional. I will absolutely come back here for any future issues I have with my car and I highly recommend this place to my friends and family. The office itself is clean and comfortable offer refreshments.

J&T automotive has been servicing my vehicle as well as my family’s vehicles for 10+ years and I have never had a complaint with their work. They are direct when reporting on what is in good condition as well as what is in bad condition, but they have never forced services on me or my family. The service, pricing and experts here are amazing. I got an oil change and transmission flush with them for my car and it was fantastic. The pricing is great and they offer so much information. With my oil change they also did an inspection that had pictures of everything in my car and it explained what looked good and what should be monitored at or changed at a future oil change. I got all my questions answered and will never go anywhere else to take care of my car from now on. They even have a complimentary shuttle service which was so helpful during a busy day.

Zach and his team did a great job repairing my 2015 Cadillac ATS. It was making a loud rumble and they diagnosed the issue as a damaged differential. Zach sourced a donor part to make the repair more affordable for me and had the job done in about a day once the part arrived. They also replaced the brakes. My car feels like new! It’s not the cheapest auto shop but certainly not the most expensive either. Their prices are fair and their work is excellent. I will be back for routine maintenance and future repair work.

They ask questions and then acutally listen to what you say about the concerns you are having about your car. They send you photos to document the issues and the cost to fix the problem. They are extremely organized and professional. It is clear they were top students in whatever customer service course, program or training they have taken. It is only the second car repair place I have found that I feel I can trust. They seem to really enjory their jobs. This is the first major repair I have needed on my 2007 car and I am so glad I did not take it to the dealer. It runs great and they even washed my dirty car. Will be back. Referring friends.

Once again J&T Auto has quickly performed major services needed for my 2016 Ford Fusion. These guys are quick and will negotiate pricing when bundling services. UPDATEMy work truck was making a strange noise. They diagnosed it for me and had it repaired quickly. These guys are the best. You won’t regret it. Top notch!First time customer. My AC went out. I pulled up before they closed. They said I could leave my truck and they could take a look. I told them it was my work truck and Oscar said let’s take a look at it real quick and run a test. I asked if it would cost me anything he said not for the test but it will if they can diagnose it and fix it of course. 10 minutes later they said I had a leak and started working on it. It took less than an hour and my truck was fixed. The bill was fair and I was happy to pay. Great experience and I recommend them. I had a new engine installed into my Jeep and other miscellaneous clutch work done at the same time. Oscar was my main contact in this establishment and was very knowledgeable and listened well. The turn around time was surprising given the amount of work being done; it was much faster then expected. Upon completion, I got the Jeep back, driving very well; all issues fixed and the work was the best of any independent shop Ive been to. They seem to know rare/exotic/quirky cars well given their lot always has something interesting parked in it.
