We hired DJ Intense (Manan) for our wedding and reception at the end of April. With all the stress that comes with wedding planning, booking the DJ was by far the least stressful part! Manan was always available for any and all questions we had, even took time to explore the venue with us and helped figure out the best setup plan for all the equipment. We didnt provide specifics on what kind of music we wanted him to play and left all creative decisions to him. From the moment the dance floor opened till the last song people were on the dance floor nonstop. I had to drag my husband off the dance floor to eat dinner and even then he was dancing from his seat while eating. Two months after the wedding, people still rave about how lit the dancefloor was the entire time and how they didnt want to leave to grab a quick bite to eat. We went to weddings after ours and no one compares to how the music was at our wedding. We all know at weddings the most important things are the DJ and food! I have known many members of this company for a few years (even the Founder and owner Chani) so I was expecting great service from them. However, what really set them apart is although it was friendly and very chill to communicate with them, the level of professionalism was always at the highest level. When it came to equipment and scheduling, there were never any issues. Several schedule changes were made and we had to shift some of the responsibility of our events to the DJ/Sound team and they took it in stride with no issues at all.Great group to work with, and highly recommend!

I recently got married in NC and hired the Desi Junction DJs team for sound and lighting at all three of my wedding events. I can definitively say without any reservation that this was the BEST decision I made considering all of the decisions I made planning my events as a whole. The team drove out from Houston with a truck full of equipment and were very organized and timely. From personal experience, I can definitely say this is such an amazing and talented group! Their work goes above and beyond anything Ive ever seen. From mendhi to reception, they will customize everything for you. For example, the uplighting for each of my events matched the event decoration. Even though allotted little time between events, DJ iKonic was able to pull off the best setup and show off the best reception the east coast has ever seen. Chani was the first vendor we booked for our wedding. He and his team are hands-down the BEST South Asian entertainment and lighting company in North America. They went above and beyond to make sure our guests enjoyed each event. Every detail was perfect and technicians were always available to help. The entire Desi Junction DJ team treated our wedding like it was their own. They kept the party going... in fact, the dance floor was full well beyond the planned 5 hour mark. Most companies work by the minute, but DJD were dedicated to delivering an experience. Hence, our festivities lasted into the morning. The lighting package transformed our venue into an EDM concert. If we could do it all over again, we would book DJD without a second thought (and were pretty sure our guests would too!).

Wife and I are so glad that we had DJ Iqwark Bhurji (Klasikhz) and his team at our reception! I was extremely impressed with their equipment, lighting, setup, quality of the sound, as well as the wide range of music selection in his library. We got married couple weeks ago and till this day our friends and family tell us how much of a good time they had at our reception and how much they loved our DJ, Iqwak! Literally, EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night and we got so many compliments about him and his skills!We also requested Iqwak to make some dance mixes for our entrances on the reception day and not only he killed every single mix, he delivered them very quickly. Absolutely amazing experience working with this team! We had received several strong recommendations for Desi Junction DJs when we were on the hunt for our wedding DJ and we are so glad we made the choice to hire them. We recently got married in New Orleans and we can definitely say that hiring Iqwak and the team at Desi Junctions was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we spoke, we knew Iqwak was going to be amazing. He has many years of experience in the business and is extremely talented. His knowledge about music production, mixing music, and sound/lighting is incredible. He was very easy to communicate with and helped to resolve any issues that would arise even if it was not his responsibility. I was referred to DJ Chani from a friend who used him at her wedding. My wedding was multicultural with 60% of the guests from North Texas and the rest of the guests from the U.S, Nepal, Trinidad and India. Everyone had a great time! Chani was great at getting everyone on the dance floor and including many different genres of music. I’ve received many compliments for my wedding with guests stating it’s been the best wedding they’ve attended! We had guests dancing from 9pm -1am non-stop. I also liked how Chani has a meeting with you a week before the wedding to go over details of the wedding day and also allows you to send over song requests to play during the reception. I highly recommend Desi Junction they will make sure all the guests are dancing and having a great time.

Desi Junction DJs bring THE PARTAY! They have some talented Djs & dholis. DJ Chani & Anish were at our baraat, wedding, & reception. We had a blast & the dance floor was packed the entire time. They were amazing! They have some really cool equipment, too, that can truly enhance any party. The dholi with the the light up dhol (sick) & the huge LED Dj booth were great additions.We ran into a bit of an issue during the baraat due to the chance of rain...the DJing started late & I know my groom was feeling unhappy about it then, but Dj Chani more than made up for it. He went above & beyond to make sure we were having a good time & absolutely killed it at the reception. Ive heard them play at other weddings as well & they put out an excellent mix of sound. 5-stars.

Klasikhz was the DJ for our wedding and I truly cant say enough about him. We hired him after hearing about him from numerous friends and listening to some of his music on Soundcloud. His personality and passion were infectious from the get go. Hiring him was a no-brainer after that. Throughout the wedding process he made everything so carefree and took care of the everything with the utmost attention to detail. He worked with us in a collaborative manner with the only goal being to provide our vision for the music. His DJing itself was absolutely incredible throughout all our events. Most importantly he took a personal approach to the event and made us feel at ease. I cannot recommend Klasikhz highly enough. He is truly an amazing DJ and better person.

I could not give these guys enough credit if I tried! I hired Desi Junction Djs for my destination wedding in Cancun and Im so glad I went with them. Chani, Sumeet, and Anish brought so much energy to every single event, had the crowd in a great mood, and played the best music. Following the event, we got so much feedback from our guests that the DJ/MCs were amazing and they loved having them there. What we respected the most was prior to the reception started, my husband and I walked in before everyone else and they were all practicing together/rehearsing their introductions/and collaborating on how to make the event as fun as possible. Amazing group! I had DJ Paras and Vinay at my wedding and my husband and I had a blast. Our guests have not stopped talking about how fun the dancing was at our Garba/Sangeet night, Baraat, Reception. I am so glad my husband & I decided to go with Desi Junctions! They are the best in the business. We had Iqwak as a DJ and he is amazing! During our initial meeting with Iqwak, we were able explain to him the type of music we wanted to play throughout our wedding events. He was really helpful in giving us recommendations on songs for entrances, exits etc. He was also able to make remixes for us very quickly! During our reception, our dancefloor was packed the entire 2.5 hours! I was not expecting that for the entire time, but everyone was truly enjoying themselves. Iqwak did an amazing job, and he is so sweet! We are so happy we had Iqwak on our team for our big weekend!

These guys are amazing! I had DJ Chani and MC Anish at my wedding who killed it at the baraat, the wedding, and the reception. Our crowd was mixed and everyone danced their buts off as the music was great all night. I even had a mishap with my mandap (altar) and wind knocking it out and these guys were nice enough to try to get the mandap back up. They kept the baraat pumped up with music and dholi even at the reception. Everyone including my husband and I had an amazing day thanks to these guys. On top of getting the music and energy right, theyre organized and will get on the phone at anytime you need to ensure the schedule is perfect. Highly recommend them! There was once a time where people judge a wedding by the food. Now we are in the era where a wedding is judged by the music! And we got lucky with DJ Chani at our wedding reception as ALL of our guests had a total blast!!! His team was prompt, professional, and so kind to work with! They read our minds on what songs we wanted to listen to and made it to where even the grandparents were on the dance floor! DJ Chani played all the right songs with the right timings and he is definitely one vendor we did not need to worry about. We had a great experience with Desi Junction at our recent wedding a few weeks ago. Iqwak was our DJ and did a great job not just during the event but beforehand as well. We needed help cutting/splicing music for not only the first dance, but also for the ceremony as well. Iqwak did an amazing job, and the music for both ceremonies ( hindu and jewish) were exactly what we wanted! All of our guests were impressed with not only the variety of music a we were blending two different cultures, but how professional Iqwak and the Desi Junction team was for our wedding! Desi Junction DJs are amazing! They were the DJ for my wedding and reception. DJ Klasikhz was our main DJ and he was phenomenal. DJ Chani and his team Desi Junctions are the best! From the moment we met him, we were very impressed with his professionalism and how involved he got in the wedding. Chani and his team did an amazing job producing my event. As a DJ flying out of state, the biggest concern is the quality of the equipment that will be available for your use as well as whether the staff will be helpful and accommodating. I was in Houston to DJ a wedding reception at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square where Desi Junction DJs are regulars.Every piece of equipment that was used at my event was state of the art. Desi Junction’s technicians were extremely professional and very fun to work with (Thanks Sajan and Josh!). Ive had multiple friends have the Desi Junction team provide their music and entertainment for their weddings so we knew we were in good hands. Chani was easy to get in touch with and was very responsive to all of my questions and the MANY contract revisions because I just couldnt make my mind up. The team provide a dhol player and a mobile baraat to make sure the grooms party was dancing nonstop, microphones for our pandits, emcees, our LED screens, up-lighting and, of course, the best music all day and night. Chani and his team were so relaxed on our big day even when a last minute add to the program was thrown at him. The team is organized which helps them setup for an awesome event. I had no doubt Desi Junction DJs would keep the crowd hyped and dancing nonstop! I highly recommend them!

DJ Chani was referred to us by our wedding coordinator and also by one of my best friends. Accordingly, we had high expectations for him and his team. Simply put, we were not disappointed.I’ll touch on a few qualities that I believe Chani embodied. Firstly, he was very organized. He took the time to meet with us in person a few times and tried to understand what type of music we liked and disliked. Beyond just music, he took it upon himself to ensure that the entire program would run smoothly too. Accordingly, he contacted the emcees for each of our events to ensure that the two parties were on the same page. Next with respect to lighting, he understood our colors and chose ambient lighting that complimented our decor, but did not take away from its appeal.Secondly, Chani and team were punctual. They were where they were supposed to be long before they needed to be there. For instance, on one day, the groom’s side was supposed to arrive sometime between 2-3pm, Chani was set up by 1pm ready to go. They did not operate under Indian standard time.Thirdly, he was about customer satisfaction. Our Sangeet was supposed to end at 10:30pm, yet, we ended up going on until 11:30pm. Despite the longer than expected event timing, Chani kept going strong and towards the end, it seemed that not even he wanted to stop! He was feeding off of the crowd’s energy. A similar situation happened with our Reception too, we ended up wrapping up 1 hour later than expected and again, he had no issues with it. He was just having fun.Outside of the three soft skills discussed above, Chani’s music selection was amazing. I thought he had a tough task ahead of him with our events since our preferred music selection was made up of House and Indian. I could not have been more wrong. He found a way to get creative and mix songs in and out very seamlessly. One minute we are jamming a Punjabi song and the next, we’re jamming Kungs, Martin Garrix or Kygo. His ability to manage the crowd and keep everyone engaged was very impressive too.I highly recommend Chani to anyone looking for a DJ who can perform at a high level, is easy to work with and is damn good at what they do. In my experience, not all DJs are created equal. Chani rises above most, if not all.

Desi Junction did both our wedding and reception in June 2017. Throughout the entire process they were very responsive and flexible with meeting and responding to questions. My wife and I felt like they were always on the same page with what we wanted in our events. In addition DJ Chani and his office staff were always happy to meet with us in person or phone. On the day of our events they definelty delievered! The entire and wedding and reception went flawlessly. DJ Chani was amazing during the baraat and lit dancefloor on fire during the evening. My wife and I were not too selective on music, so it was great to see how they brought the music to life with their own touch. Their lighting, TV/ AV, and sound quality is top notch and reasonably priced for the service they provide. Desi Junction provided the best quality of services to us no matter how big or small our event was, and its apparent they make a strong effort to listen to customers.
