I’ve had some problems with our 30 year old home alarm system. I found Alarm Masters and gave them a call. I was guessing I needed to upgrade the “brains” and keypad panels - thinking our systems was way too out of date to fix. I had an exchange with Brian from Alarm Masters. He suggested I totally power down my alarm system and see if that resets the system. Well....that did the trick....it works fine now. I also mentioned to Brian that our keypad panels had significantly yellowed over the years...he suggested a process (Retrobrite) to reduce the yellow. I did what he suggested and our keypads are nice and white now - no more yellow. I’m just so impressed with Alarm Masters and Brian. They could have easily said I needed a new alarm system board and new keypads, but they didn’t and I’m very impressed with that. Some of the best customer service (technically I’m not a customer yet) I have ever experienced. A business I totally trust.

Can I give a ZERO star? Very arrogant and critical. All about himself, Brain that is. Should be ashamed of how he treats other people.

I contracted with Alarm Masters to upgrade my existing security system. I had them install alarm screens, glass break detectors, and an external siren. They did excellent work at a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend them for new system installation or upgrades. However, I did not use them for monitoring because they wanted to rope me into an overpriced, multi-year contract. Instead, I use Smith Thompson for my monitoring and they charge $16/month for CELLULAR monitoring with no contracts and their service is excellent. The response time is around one minute. Alarm Masters quoted me a higher monthly price for mere PHONE LINE monitoring – their cellular price was ridiculous.

Excellent company in every regard. From the phone contact personnel to the alarm technician I was totally pleased. Had a 10 yr old system that needed a tune up .Did my due diligence and choose these guys not only did they meet be exceeded expectations all along the way from value to professionalismThe master alarm technician Bill arrived on time and asked what was the issue as he had me down for trouble shooting motion sensors and to verify system with a full test.He was able to verify the issues and fixed them in an enthusiastic and efficient manner.With all charges falling inside my expectations due to the telephone persons excellent skill of relaying what to expect regarding how they charge.Basically needed a 12v backup battery for the system and few minor issues addressed such as some faulty wiring corrected to the telephone interface.With the battery and all ... was out less than others quoted just to come out and take a look.
