Emailed service request at 1:33pm and received a call with 10 minutes-and technician Fernando was at my home literally with 30 minutes of the call. He totally disassembled my gas dryer in order to clean dust and dog hair that accumulated and caused the fuse to fail. Fernando was professional, courteous, and speedy-he knows appliances. The repair was inexpensive and saved me at least $750 from purchasing a new dryer! I highly recommend Houston Home Appliances!

I called around town looking for someone to come check out and repair our oven at 8:00 am on a Saturday. Called Houston Appliance Repair and Fernando provided the most professional, quickest, nicest, response home repair service we have ever received. We just purchased groceries and noticed that the refrigerator was not cooling After reviewing several DIY videos I searched for a professional. I called a different vendor and left a message. After an hour with no response I went to the next name that popped up. And what great luck! Fernando answered and said he would be here today. He quickly diagnosed the problem (corroded copper coil) and had everything working in short order. Fernando is extremely professional, reliable and reasonable. I highly recommend him.

I am so happy I met Fernando through all of the positive reviews I saw on google. I had 2 separate people come out before him that were trying to jip me out of my money. One guy told me $600 to fix a valve on my stove. Another one told me $200 and asked for a $100 deposit! He held onto my deposit for almost 2 weeks claiming he was waiting on a part. Luckily he returned it after explaining to him my personal issues me just moving here from California. After that, I went google searching to find an honest repair man and took a chance on Fernando...He not only didn’t charge me for an inspection fee he also made sure when he arrived to show me what was honestly wrong with my stove before he did the work. Come to find out the job wasn’t as hard as the other 2 made it out to be. It was a simple fix. He charged me $145 for the job. A win win because I saved money, got my stove fixed, and met an honest repair man! I am lucky to have found him . Thanks Fernando and God bless

No one showed up

I put in a website request on Sunday evening after my freezer started acting up. Fernando emailed me back within a couple hours asking about the make and model. I emailed him back a picture and we setup a time for him to arrive the next day between 11-3. He called about 11:30 and said he was on his way. He arrived, quickly diagnosed the issue, had the part on his truck, charged me a fair price, invoiced me from his phone which allowed me to pay via Google Pay rather than try to dig out the checkbook and the freezer has been running cold ever since. Responsive, professional, no-nonsense. From the time I reached out to the time it was repaired was less than 24 hours. I will definitely call him again.

Scheduled time was from 1100 am to 3pm. At 3pm I get a call from the technician stating that he was going to be 1.5 hrs late, after I told him that was not acceptable he made it to my house by 4pm. The technician tells me that my floors may be scratched and he says I dont have the plastics needed to protect the floor. Again, he services refrigerators all day and not only comes late but unprepared. In order for the refrigerator to be serviced, he had to move it and angle it which he is unable to do so alone, he asked me if it was ok if he called his buddy, I agreed. Forty five minutes later, a second technician shows up and they are able to move the fridge.The technician tells me the refrigerator has a leak and can put freon but does not guarantee me how long it will last; a conversation occurs regarding his recommendations (eventually i will have to replace the refrigerator), I agreed for him to refill the freon as I was desperate and only need to buy some time to figure out what I need to do later. Once the service is complete, he tells me I would normally charge $180 but since I called my other technician it will now be $250Not only did the technician lack professionalism by being one hour late and calling me last minute but also shows up to my house unprepared to move a refrigerator safely. I was taken advantage of and was obviously overcharged. The technician also NEVER informed me in the process that I would be overcharged.I DO NOT recommend these people to anyone. They are free to go in here and say what they want about my review but I am an honest and hardworking person and only stating the facts. It makes me sick to meet people like them who take advantage of people.

They came to my home on very short notice. I have a freezer that was having issues.I previously called Bill Anderson of Bill Anderson Service, an appliance repair man that was referred to. Bill told me it was the computer on the freezer. He did nothing to it in the way of testing compressor, coils, computer or relay...then told me to buy another one after he quoted me more than half of the of cost to replace the computer and that wasnt even the issue of a the freezer. Good thing for me I questioned his judgement since he did not test any part of the freezer to confirm that was the issue.I googled and found Fernando who owns Houston Home Appliance. He tested the compressor, coils and relay. He immediately noticed the relay wasnt kicking on as it is supposed to. The other parts all were tested and working properly. The first guy Bill encouraged me to replace the freezer.I would recommended Houston Home Appliance Repair. They did a good job for me and saved me the cost of a new freezer.

I will not recommend this company because they have very poor customer service. The repair man that came to my house was so rude and was yelling at me. I was so humiliated. I called the customer service center to report. They took my information and never returned my call.

I selected this company after reading online reviews. Fernando responded promptly to schedule a time. He came over, on a holiday no less (my refrigerator crapped out on Labor Day), and quickly diagnosed the problem. He returned the next day with a new compressor. Installed the new part. He even replaced a corroded section of copper coil, which still worked but wouldnt have for much longer. Needless to say, my refrigerator works as good as new. Fernando seems like an honest man. At no time did I feel like he was trying to rip me off. He took the time to do the job right. He didnt charge more for repairing the copper coil. He certainly deserves your business.

Our refrigerator stopped cooling on a Saturday afternoon and we were about to lose a lot of food. After calling a couple of other places only to be told that we would need to wait until Monday just to make an appointment to have someone come out and diagnose the problem, we called Houston Appliance Repair and luckily one of their guys was nearby and they were here within 30 minutes. Fortunately it was an easy fix and after replacing the compressor relay the fridge was back up and running within another 20 minutes. I was so glad not to have to wait or lose any groceries and not miss any work. We were able to go about our weekend with minimal interruption.

My refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.. I placed a call and had a repairman at my house within an hour. The compressor was dead and I was told he could have everything fixed within a few hours. He installed the new compressor and was gone within 2 hours. This includes travel time to pick up the parts. The following day I received a phone asking if all was working properly. I highly recommend their services as they are reliable and their prices are VERY REASONABLE!
