Unreliable. We were given a time window, technician didnt show up. I called Big Kountry and the dispatch couldnt get a hold of the technician and let me know shed call me back with an update. She never did. I missed working because of the technician missing the time window. I called back and hour and a half later and was informed the technician was an hour out, which meant I was now missing dinner with my family. The dispatcher was very unsympathetic. This is the THIRD time something like this has happened with Big Kountry. The only reason Im having to use them is they are contracted through our home warranty company. Unless you want to waste your time, dont use this company. Ever.

Good trustworthy service. They came out to fix my electric dryer, got the part ordered and came back to install the new part in a matter of a few days. I love that I didnt have to o buy a new appliance and the technician was friendly and bilingual.
First time out and fixed! This is our 3rd time being assigned to them from our home warranty. The guys that come are knowledgeable and professional. We’ve had to change our service time and date and they were accommodating. They’ve also had to change, but sometimes life happens or a job takes more time, or a part doesn’t make it in time. They have been out twice now, first time they simply reset my dishwasher. Of course that did not fix it. So I called out again.... again wait 2 weeks.. Technician said we were not home. My wife had taken off, all of my kids are there, garage door is up and I’m there as well... never rang the doorbell, never called... but I did see he left his card to prove he is there... would not recommend to someone I hated

The company as a whole kept me waiting for a repair for over a month, a part had to be ordered but once it got delivered they somehow lost the part and never contacted me or followed up with me. Then they somehow found the part after my home warranty contacted them. They then finally scheduled a tech to come out but then cancelled my appt due to an emergency of a washer leaking however my dishwasher was leaking as well but i still got pushed back even more. Still currently waiting for tech to come.
The gentleman who came out Jaun was very professional and fixed the problem within minutes. Showed me the problem and where it came from and with an explanation. It was truly a good job done.
They cant repair high end imported refrigerator. I have to get different company to complete their job.
Was scheduled for them to come out from my home warranty. Received a call late day before saying they couldn’t come. Tech wasn’t gonna be available. Rescheduled for a Tuesday. Said he would be there between 11-2. At about 11:50 called to confirm was still coming since I was at home waiting and no one had showed or called. The lady at that answered phone said he would not be able to make it before 2. I explained this was the second day of me taking off work for them to come out. Needless to say two days wasted
Horrible customer service experience. I wish I could give zero stars. The company is named Big Kountry so I was expecting a strong burly man to arrive to fix my fridge. Instead I got a weak man that couldnt move anything. My MOTHER had to come and move the fridge. He left and lied about coming back and didnt. I would not recommend them to anyone.
I wont lie; I was a little worried when my home warranty place assigned my claim to Big Kountry after reading some reviews on a different site (hint: the site rhymes with welp!). But my expectations were exceeded by far from the service we received from Big Kountry and our repairman, Manuel. We were given a three-hour window and about 30 minutes or so into the window I got a call, text message, and email all letting me know that Manuel was on his way. Had I known this, I wouldve stayed at work until receiving the notifications (but I got to enjoy a lunch at home anyways!). About 20 minutes after receiving the notice, Manuel arrived at my front door. He assessed the problem with our oven, replaced the malfunctioning part, and made sure that his repair had successfully resolved our problem. While waiting for the oven to heat up he also showed me some helpful tips for using/maintaining a gas stove/oven range (long time electric user... finally making the return to gas). Manuel was friendly and knowledgeable of our appliances. On top of that he just seemed like a pretty cool dude. Overall, this was a FANTASTIC experience with Big Kountry and Manuel. THANK YOU!
Juan visited our house Today (Thanksgiving Eve), and I was frustrated because my stove wasn’t working. We had lots of people coming over tomorrow. They’ve come out twice to “fix” my microwave neither time have they tested it out before leaving. First time they came I called immediately once my paid electrician came to test it out & it was the same error code they said technician “specified not to put unit back in there was more parts to order, he made your mother aware” 1 my mom wasn’t here & 2 & I quote technician said “it’s all ready to go” first time he came. This work order has been placed since August. Very unprofessional.
I had a wonderful experience again with Big Kountry! Every person I get is wonderful and very knowledgeable! I had Julia come out to install new ice maker and hook up drinking water amazing job! The best technician ever she was extremely detailed ordered everything needed moved refrigerator with no problem checked everything to make sure all equipment needed was ordered. As soon as she received equipment came back out and installed! What an easy process! Thank you for a super job!!
Miserable service. They sent me a guy who has no idea how a dishwasher works. Kept saying it’s the soap I am using since “no error codes”. Had to prove to him it’s the top spinner not working when I ran it for him. Ended up bringing a part and while moving the dishwasher, he broke few other parts. Dishwasher went from half functional to nonfunctional. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this miserable company.
[Professionalism] Julia Garcia was very professional and had great problem solving skills. She also went above and beyond to get my appliance fixed on the same day. She had great customer service also and I just want to let you know that she is a great asset to your company and I am very satisfied with her work. Also it would not let me click all of the above as far as timeliness and problem resolution.
Found through my home warranty company. They were unable to schedule me for 2 weeks, then called me the day before service to postpone the appointment yet again. Also, the service time windows they gave were useless, as the technician ran late both times. I will request another company in the future.

Called in the morning to make an appointment to have my dryer fixed and they said they could come out between 3 to 6 PM same day. I get a call at 5:30 PM informing me that they cannot make it today (no apology just matter of fact). I took off from work early waiting for them to arrive and if they had not made the appointment for this afternoon I could have continued working or ran some errands. This is the first time I tried Big Kountry Appliance and the reviews I read were good on the first page. When I went online to post this review I noticed the people rating them 1 were a close second to the ones rating them a 5 so I am not the only person unhappy with Big Kountry Appliance Repair. WOULD NOT WASTE MY TIME.

I was very pleased with my services! I was able to get an appointment with a service repair man very quickly. The company called the day before to give me a time range for the services to be done the next day. The day of the appointment they called twenty minutes before they arrived. The technician was very professional, explained to me the problem with my washing machine, was able to get the machine to running condition. He cleaned the area that he was working on before he left. I was very satisfied.
Our oven was under warranty through Sears so we relied on their assessment that Big Kountry Appliance Repair was knowledgeable enough to fix our Kenmore oven. First, their service hours are truly limited/awful - if you are working full-time, you will have to take time off from work multiple times. They did not believe that we had an issue with our oven (despite obvious visual observation that the front glass had cracked), so we scheduled a 3-hour window for them to come over and agree with us. Then we waited for 2 weeks while the part was being ordered. Then finally another 3-hour window for them to complete the repair. Good news is that the repairman successfully replaced the oven glass. Bad news is that he did not know how to re-attach the front handle, which came off in our hands later that night. Guess what? No service calls after hours and none on weekends, even for issues that they caused. They told us that we had to schedule another 3-hour session window. Our contractor that we use for other items fixed it that night in 15 minutes. Heres what we got with Big Kountry: awful customer service and a repair that caused additional problems!
I, too, am a small businessperson. Ive read the reviews and now have a review of my own. Juan and his wife run this mom and pop business. They are a great team. I can testify personally that I have never had better service from ANY appliance repair operation than Ive had from them. I had a freezer on the blink, a refrigerator not making ice, another refrigerator needing an icemaker, an antique Coke machine with a bad compressor (that several repairmen had previously looked at and would not even venture an attempt at repairing it), AND a stackable washer/dryer that was leaking water. Juan repaired them ALL. As a matter of fact Juan is so well-trained and confident that I simply cannot understand how any of the 1 star reviews have come about. First, it seems that some folks do not understand that Juan sells his time...not just his ability. And he cannot control what problems he encounters when he begins a project. But failure to understand his predicament when it comes to scheduling a one man operation is problematic for the person waiting on the repair. What would they do if their doctor had a person bleeding out in surgery...and their doctor was late or cancelled because he was doing his job? Also, Juan cannot control when parts come in...or if they are even available. He actually located, picked up, and delivered an appliance for me in a crunch. I cant say enough about him. Juan and Corinna are a great team...and I highly recommend them to everyone. By the way...forget those damned YELP reviews. If you have any questions about this...simply look up YELP reviews and you will understand the problem. Millennials should forget about basing ANY reference through YELP. YELP is not credible!!!
The tech got there a little early and went straight to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem and thankfully he had the part that we need in his truck. The tech was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. It took him approx. 30 mins from start to finish. Great Job!

Yesterday Mr. Juan came to fix our freezer, I was so worried it wouldnt very fix. He was awesome, fixed it in no time, was very friendly and professional. Had ice-maker problems with our refrigerator and call Big Kountry Appliance Repair. The technician they sent was knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. We were well pleased with the affordable repairs and would call this company time and again for the dedicated professionalism exhibited by Appliance Repair Technician Julia.
AVOID this company. We were referred by our home warranty company because GE was booked. First technician came out & diagnosed the microwave needed a new control panel (maybe a new computer brain but he couldnt order that part till the control panel was replaced). Took 6 days to get control panel, another technician failed to call us, came an hour late, because theyre swamped, replaced the control panel with a dented part. He reluctantly said hed order a new one if the dent bothered us. We had to insist that he order it & he said to call if anything else goes wrong with the microwave in the meantime. Soon the steam sensor shut down the functions (apparently the brain is not working) & the exhaust fan makes noise. It was fine before the repair. Two weeks later- he was late again & hadnt called, so we called the office before 5 pm & she said hed be here within an hour- he was busy with a customer. We cancelled the appointment & our warranty company was notified & is sending a GE technician. Our guess is this company is understaffed, possibly using some undertrained technicians & it makes more money by doing return calls for warranty referrals. * Let your warranty company know. They depend on your feedback to send reliable service providers.
The customer service that I received was excellent. The technician, Wesley, was very courteous and professional. My stove was quickly repaired and I am extremely satisfied. I would highly recommend this company and especially Wesley for any appliance repair.
Sorry to hear about some of the bad reviews here, but my experience was fantastic. My home warranty company automatically connected me with Big Kountry for a clogged washing machine, and the field tech (Joshua) was awesome before I even met him. The morning of my appointment, he texts me to get more details about my problems so that he could have everything he needed to fix things on that visit. Once Joshua got here, he quickly assessed and fixed the problem in about an hour. Ive been mostly burned by home warranty companies and the services in the past, but today was a relief.

First appointment. No show. Got a call the morning of appt telling me the tech wouldnt be there. Try again next Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around (tech was late) Tech looks at my dryer, says he cleaned some lint out of the exhaust, should be fine now. Ran the dryer after he left. It shut down again. Called Ana back. Try again next Tuesday. Tuesday (today, and he was late again). Same tech. He didnt even look at my dryer. I couldnt get it to shut down while he was here, but explained exactly what it was doing. Again. He says he will contact Sears to see what they want him to do. He goes to walk out. Whoa! what about my dryer? Its working right now I ask him what if it catches fire and burns my house down? You going to sign something saying its ok to run? He says he cant do that. Terrible service.
My LG stovetop glass was broken, still under warranty. LG uses Big Kountry Appliance Repair for in home visits. The tech replaced the glass and the digital panel that was recalled. He did a great job, so happy with the fast service and 3 months our 7 year old electric stove is like new.

Its my 1st time having Big Kountry Applicance Repair for service and I was very happy that they arrived on time. I also received a communication from them and AHS. Repairman was friendly and worked fast. I am grateful because I need my washer to wash a pile of clothes. 😁
Horrible company, sloppy technicians, worst customer service. Avoid at all cost!Juan came to repair my wine cooler. After finishing his job, he pushed the unit back into its socket under the counter and scratched the hardwood floor. He accused me that i was trying to blame on him a preexisting scratch. Then he squeezed the power cable under the unit and shorted it. Sometime after the left, the circuit breaker went off. I called the company and the service manager (that title seems a mockery) told me that Juan is their best technician and there is not way that he would have caused this damage. Its all my fault and I should take care of it. As I said, avoid at all cost
Sub-contractor for Sears appliance (warranty) repair, as such they were dispatched to fix a broken washing machine 3 days after call. Technician needed to order part that would take a week to get in, did not return on expected day. Called to find out it would be another 5 days (12 days from original call). Came out and replaced part, machine worked for 1 afternoon and stopped. I called and told them this and was informed it would be another 12 days before they could return. I called SEARS and informed them, then called my own trustworthy appliance company who discovered the part installed by BK was used and blew the machines motherboard. Shady, unethical, no customer service and a complete lack of desire to stand behind their work.Not only will I never use BK Appliance, tell all my friends, family and clients about them, but I will also NEVER buy another appliance from Sears.

This is by far one of the worst company I have ever! The staff members Ana and crystal was very rude! They sent a guy over not once but twice to fix my refrigerator he spent a whole week trying to fix the problem that he created! He locked my refrigerator draw I had to go almost a week without no meat! I called and told them about it they told me it is nothing they could do about it, Call the company to have them fix the problem! If you know what is good for you please stay away from this company!
Absolutely do not recommend. They are used by our home warranty company - weve always had to use them because of this. Theyve been out at least 4 times to our house for various issues. They assign a window of time for service the day before they will come - just go ahead and plan on it taking an entire day. Slow to call back, slow to assign a time, slow to arrive, slow to fix issues and slow to get parts. Im guessing they are only in business because of home warranty companies - avoid at all costs.
This company showed up at my home for a repair,and left without telling me anything, I called their office and they gave a rescheduled date other than the Date that had been confirmed
Excellent, after reading some reviews a was hesitant of calling them but I was referred to them by the manufacture, and Im glad I called the staff was polite and the technician fixed it in no time!! I was glad to see I had called someone with so much experience and knowledge. I will continue to use them and refer them to all my family and friends.

Horrible, horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE, lack of knowledge, disorganized, liers, and I dont know how they are in business. Stay away from this company. My washer is worst than when it started and they replaced four different parts. They dont keep u up to date on when parts arrive, they dont keep their own schedule, and they dont care about whether you are inconvenienced or not. I hope American home shield discontinue using their services as they are a big ripoff. It would be better to research and choose your own than to choose this company. Dont waste your time or money! Im giving them one star to get peoples attention to read this but one is too many.

I wish I could give them no stars. Microwave has been out and American homeshield picked these sorry sacks to come and fix it. Its been a month and its still not fixed. Next review that will be bad will be on American homeshield for using these people as a vendor. I cant believe these people will not expedite services for someone who has been waiting. Ill never have big kountry step in my house again

I would have to say that these people are very unprofessional, rude, unknowledgeable, and I would never use them again! The only reason I used them was because my dryer was still under warranty and that was the company that my insurance chose. The only thing they had to do was to send over the work order stating that my dryer was non repairable so that my dryer would be replaced. It took them 3 days to do that and they still sent over work order stating that they can fix it even after their technician said they could not just so they can get paid more money and waste my time. I havent had a dryer in over a month and all I can think about is themselves how selfish is that. Shame on you big country, they should be called the Big Nasty!!!
Offers some of the worst and least timely customer service I have ever seen. Completely unable to know when they will get a part in or be out to your home. Misses appointments and does not call to let you know they will not be arriving. Female agent who answers phones is very rude and should not be in customer service industry.
When our washing machine went out at Fire Station 41 the owner donated the parts for us to fix our washer. Firefighters are very grateful for Big Kountry Appliance Repairs generosity and had a very positive interaction with this company.

Oscar who works for Big Kountry Appliance helped us by repairing Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine. I was getting F3 code on my machine and he changed the chip board and it was leaking with water and he was able to fix that by cleaning all the drainage tubings

AWFUL!!!! Once I finally got them to return my call and show up, he quoted us a price that seemed awful high for a new refrigerator so I called LG. They told me that it was covered under warranty. We had already paid half of the cost, over $300, and assumed it would be refunded since the part was free. When the repair guy finally came out to fix it, I asked and he just told me that I did not owe anything. So I called to ask for a receipt and it only showed me owing $69, but when I asked why I paid over $300 she said that was their usual cost. I wish I had read their reviews before using them. Definitely go somewhere else if you are looking for an honest repair. These guys are rip offs.

The most unprofessional, rude people Ive encountered. Came out to my house 3 hours before scheduled, looked at my fridge, made a mess, then said theyd be back with a part on Monday. That was 4 weeks ago. Then when I called back they never scheduled an appointment, showed up at my house unannounced and then said its my fault for not being home and they cant come back for another week now. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Terrible experience. Created an gas leak from my oven range and would not take responsibility for the poor workmanship.
Very dissatisfied. A technician came in to work on our fridge. He asked me about 500 questions about why the fridge wasnt working and implied more than once that we had done something to cause malfunction. He asked if he could use our wi-fi while he was waiting for his repair to kick in (he plugged the fridge back in and turned the dials all the way to the coldest setting). He left the premises for about an hour, and came back to add some freon, then rudely demanded a check for $150. Our fridge still doesnt work. Take your business elsewhere.

Worst customer service. I do not have ONE single receipt from any of the 3 visits that they made to fix my refrigerator, which is STILL not fixed. STAY AWAY FROM BIG KOUNTRY, UNLESS YOU WANT A BIG HEADACHE.
Have to use this company because of my home warranty. If i had a choice i would strongly recommend you go elsewhere. Ive had the same technician for each visit and hes come 6 time times for various reasons. Twice ive taken off of work only to have a no call no show. When i called the next day secretary said the part was damaged so he didnt come and the next time she said he ran behind the previous day. Neither time did anyone call and let me know. If you are wanting you appliances replaced it is great because they manage to strip screws and break them more than before the visit. He stripped all the screws in our cooktop and broke wires on the inside. On our oven they didnt try to repair. On our refrigerator he said i needed a new door cause the water would not come out. When i helped him pull the fridge out when the new door came I noticed the the water line had been kinked the whole time. So he didnt do any type of diagnosis of why the water didnt come out. Now ive had to call back 3 times because the freezer door 1st because the freezer door wouldnt stay shut, was told it needed a new gasket so had to make another call, he put the new gasket in and that didnt help so he tried to adjust the door and told me it was fixed. A couple weeks later i noticed frost in the freezer and could see he moved the door so much to get it to close theres almost a 1/8 all the down the backside of the door that doesnt touch the fridge to seal. I also notice he broke the trim at top of the door and stripped out the screw holes because he pulled the trim cap off without taking the screws out. Would not do business with this company. I would assume they hire new kids that just replace parts with no knowledge of how to repair them.
American Homeshield scheduled this company to repair my washer. The problem persisted after the repair, and when I phoned them to report it, I was told that they needed to order another part and would contact me when it came in. After several weeks of not hearing back, I called them only to be told that they had no record of my call and the ticket had been closed out. They would not acknowledge their mistake and instead referred me back to American Homeshield. Very poor service.

Big Kountry Appliances is a ripoff they tell you about the 94.95 service charge for coming out, but what they dont tell you is that the labor charges that they are going to charge you is three times the price of the part. What they wanted to charge me for repairing my oven I could buy a new stove for that.
STAY AWAY!!!!!! Thease people are very unprofessional as far as keeping their appointments. they sent a technician out to service my washer and told us that it needed a new motor and that it would take about a week. this was on Tuesday 12/16/14 so for about a week my wife had to go wash at laundromats with our 14 month old baby. She did this every other day. finally we are called to let us know that the part had come in and that the technician would be here Wednesday the 24 and he never showed. he had an emergency. they rescheduled for the the next day and he never showed up again.

Abysmal ServiceThe office staff and technicians are unprofessional, unsympathetic, untruthful, horrible at communication and follow-up, and at times just flat out incompetent. They have no problem having you suffer through long, and repeated, repair visits (I had 6 for the same item) and weeks without your appliance so they can continue to milk money and new appointments from your home warranty company. The experience was infuriating, appalling and unsatisfactory. Find another appliance repair company or youre likely to be sorry that you didnt.

Avoid this company. Unprofessional service men who are absent minded. Rude and unprofessional call assistants. They took in an ac to fix a thermometer problem and they said they fixed it, they almost gave us the wrong ac back, and when we got the right one, same problem as before. They need to go under.

This company is a scam. Charged parts as individual parts.. It was the a kit. $105 kit was $279. Laughed all the way to the bank. Stopped working. I got the credit card company involved. DO NOT EVER USE THESE CON ARTISTS. My bill was $483 only because I asked for $25 off. $500 to fix my dishwasher. NEVER AGAIN. I did not do my research as I usually do. Read the ratings and replies. I could have a new dishwasher for that price.
I will be contacting the state attorney general, the local consumer reporters. 2x this week the same tech was out to my house, nothing is fixed. My dishwasher is still not working. I found out that my extended warranty company no longer uses them for new clients because they are so awful.
